  1. Rachel Anne says:

For me, the hardest thing to remember is that I have been forgiven. For all of it. Why not be generous with my forgiveness to others?

    I'm learning…

  2. Lisa says:

I’ve always wished we knew more of Esau’s story. He must have gone through quite a change in those years we don’t see. When Jacob stole his birthright and then ran off he must have been so hurt and angry. but the next time the Bible mentions him he is full of forgiveness and love. This hairy, burley hunter who had been deceived by his brother greeted that long lost brother with a huge hug and cried with him. I find that amazing and inspiring! If God can help Esau forgive Jacob, he can help me too. Esau had such a good reason to be angry, but he wasn’t. Why should I hold on to anger over little things? Who cares if someone took my parking spot, if my husband forgot to do something I asked him to, it I felt slighted by someone at work? Holding on to that anger only hurts me, not them, most of the time. But, if I can let go of my stubbornness and let God help me forgive, he could do something great in me!
