1 day & everything changed! That's where my faith lies right now, knowing that God can deliver me from my trail in 1 day…just like that! I am faithfully holding on, waiting for that day :)

@Elaine: We’re currently working through the Surrendered Life devotional on the website/app YouVersion. Right now, we’re on day 18. You can go to the website, sign up and choose that devotional.

There is a song I like and I thought I would share it with you since it seems so fitting for today's reading. It is called By Faith by Kristyn Getty.

Another Bible story came to my mind as I was reading Joshua and the walls of Jericho. I was thinking of Noah when God told him to build the ark and Noah was faithful even though he was ridiculed and made fun of. Also Hebrews 11 talks about having faith and people in the Bible who had faith and trusted God. It is so encouraging to read these Bible stories and to help me with putting my faith and trust in God in my circumstances.

??i'm new – where do i find the scripture that you are on??

  6. Trina says:

When reading today's scripture, it reminds me that I have to follow God's word without adding my own actions into his instructions. That does not mean that I can not have doubt about what I am being told. As defined in Merriam-Webster faith is a firm belief for which there is no proof, it is unlikely marching around a city walls, to make it fall had not happened before. I like to look for precedence when doing something, even as small as waiting for someone to write the first post here. So this is my first step to om trusting that God will be there even when there is no precedence.

Trina, I see myself in your words. Thank you for sharing this.
