Since 2012, She Reads Truth has maintained a singular mission: to be women in the Word of God every day. Ten years later, our community includes “Shes” from across the globe, but our mission hasn’t changed.

Reading Scripture together is the centerpiece of what we do at She Reads Truth. As we spend time as a community reading This Is The Church, we encourage you to start by reading the daily Scripture on your  own. Then join us here to engage and encourage one another as we respond to what we’ve read. Each day for this series, we’ll include a brief summary of the reading along with a prompt for conversation.

Just as the Spirit intercedes on our behalf, the Church is to pray with confidence for our own needs, as well as the needs of other believers and the world.

Today, along with responding to the reading, share with the community in the comments how we can be praying for you.

My heart wants to let go of my anger and bitterness (and snarkiness and and and) but it goes right back there again and again. Thank you sisters. My sisters, please pray the last trimester of my pregnancy goes well, that I can balance my toddler’s needs with the needs of my newborn , and that my husband and I would
remain close during this new season. The newborn phase, with my first, was really hard. I think I had postpartum anxiety, I was exhausted and felt very isolated. Then when I was finally getting the swing of things, Covid hit. I’m a little nervous to start it all over again. I keep feeling God tell me that it doesn’t have to be that way again, and I pray it isn’t. Although, I know that God walked through my postpartum time before, and he will walk with me again.

  34. Jennifer Anapol says:

I have read through many of the prayer requests here, and I will be praying for you my sisters!

  44. Meagan Warlick says:

My husband and I are trying to figure out next steps for us! We’re in the middle of a new season of life post college and just married where we’re trying to figure out our careers and where we want to put roots down for our home! Just a lot of unknowns right now but resting in the fact that the Lord will reveal his plan in his timing!

  45. Amanda Browning says:

I have been reading through all of the prayer requests and praying for all of my SRT sisters! I have a few of my own, so please sisters I ask for prayers in helping me find passion in nursing again. After working as an ICU nurse during the height of Covid I needed a change and moved to L&D. I like my job and love seeing babies brought into the world but I have lost my passion. I also ask for prayers for my husband to find a meaningful and purposeful job. He’s been a stay at home dad for almost 3 years, the age of our twins, and feels like he has lost himself.

  51. Cristina Higgins says:

Lydia Christian, that was also my goal for this year, to understand my prayer life and improve it. I found a book called, “Prayers of Rest” by Asheritah Ciuciu as a wonderful boost to my understanding of how to and what to pray for. I think I saw it on SRT! I recommend this book to you. My prayers are with you.

  52. Stephanie Berling says:

26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. – Romans 8:26. The Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. What an encouragement that when I am too heartbroken the Spirit will speak my heart for me. Thank you God for giving words to the voiceless. Lord I do not have words for the gun violence in the United States right now but you know my heart for the victims and you know how I have been touched by this violence. Please be with the grieving and traumatized. It’s too much to bear alone. Amen. Please praise the Lord with me that our close knit family is doing well and that all our needs are met! Please pray for my husband’s mental and emotional stamina. He is a 911 dispatch supervisor. Thank you sisters.

  53. Sarabeth Segars says:

Yesterday I was in a car accident. (Thankfully everyone is ok.). Dealing with the aftermath of car accidents always adds strain on my anxiety and stress level because the list of things to do seems to be never ending. Also my hubby is rather cynical and expects all sorts of problems with the other party. After reading these passages, I know I need to pray every time I deal with all the details. And then trust. God is in control even when we make mistakes. I pray for peace and a clear mind.

  54. Elizabeth Hanna says:

Diane Mom, praying for God’s strength in this difficult season.

  60. P Blundell says:

  65. Lauren GW says:

Please pray for my husband. He returned from military deployment 2 years ago with nasty PTSD. Nothing (medications, therapy, etc) is working much. He’s lost his job because of it and much of himself. Recently told me that if it wasn’t for me and our kids, he would have killed himself last year.
We thought he was doing a little better, but he had some setbacks in the past few weeks and broke a door this weekend. Need healing and wisdom on next steps.

  77. Denise RICHIE says:

It’s wonderful that as a community we have a space to pray for one another! I have struggled with chronic illness for several years. There has been a lot of trial and error to improve my quality of life. A recent overhaul of my medications and a new treatment have improved how I feel. I was even able to go for a two mile walk today. Prayers that my health continues to improve and that I am filled with more hope, joy and contentment. Health issues have a way of weighing me down at times.

  78. Gwineth52 says:

Dear Shes. A celebratory Independence Day should never displace mandatory “Dependence” days on Him. Joining & enfolding every prayer request in comments today. Even & especially those offered silently in the quiet of your own thoughts. I’m drawn particularly to the story of the widow persistently crying out to a certain judge for justice (Luke 18:1-8). Never fear, I know, God the Father, hears our laments & and is swift to grant justice, and judgement. He never accuses or belittles our neediness. He never rebuts our requests. He never turns from our anguish. That’s the God who sent Moses before Pharaoh with the powerful “I Am”. The Almighty One, our Deliverer. Hold fast. He is faithful. Prayer I seek: For my husband to not resent or contempt as I invest more time in the workings of our church. The Bible study I’m leading. The prayers I’m writing for inclusion in the worship service. My offerings are from the heart and I’m being affirmed by others. I ask that he support, not try & stifle. “Help me, Help me, Help me. Please, Please, Please. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you”. ( Many of you will recognize this simple, sweet prayer by writer Anne Lamott.)
Happy 4th of July, even if you read this on the 5th or 6th!!

  79. Rachel Wilcox says:

Pray for peace and justice in a work conflict that I’ve made out to be bigger than it is in my mind. Pray I’ll find affordable child care for my daughter

  80. Mercy says:

My heart stopped for a moment seeing the question SRT posted today, I sobbed a little bit. And this verse came onto mind, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2. Thank you so much. Please pray for my husband whose heart was hardened against God and this took a toll in our marriage, and our young children were suffering conflicts. Please pray for my mother, whose resisted/persecuted me due to faith, especially in healing area (Covid caused a deeper division between us, she held a grudge and reduced contact with me). I felt very alone in this season, after having a newborn and 2 toddlers to care for, and no family support, especially my husband who liked to walk away, leaving me alone to see if God would show up to rescue me. The two people who are closest to me the most, husband and mom were acting like they were used by the enemy. I am walking in the season of abandonment. I have fought hard against this attack for months, having done all to stand, on top of postpartum depression, newborn daily tasks and grieves. I need God’s support through tangible people and I pray God will place me in a community of like minded people to encourage and strengthen me. Thank you for your prayers. Be blessed dear sisters.

  81. Grayson Chatfield says:

Lord, I lift up every request that’s been written in the comments as well as the ones that are written on all of our hearts. I pray that you would provide comfort, healing, peace, and answers. I pray that we would turn to You alone and that Your Holy and Precious Presence would be all around us and within us. Amen.

  82. Joanne Krumpos says:

My dad passed away May 5th of this year. He was living with me and I was his caregiver since mom passed away in 2017. Some days are better than others. Please pray for me to have the strength to keep moving on with my life. It’s weird to not be a caregiver and to have all this free time.

  83. Lisa Yates says:

Praying over you all in this community, our Church, our country. Praying especially for my lost. God is able!!!

  84. Lisa Yates says:

I Love this group. I am new and only discovered SRT a few weeks back, and it’s already changed my life so much!!

That I would hold every moment holy

  86. Krystle Scott says:

Praying for all of you my sisters! ❤️ Would you please pray for my mental health struggles? I’ve been struggling for a long time now and frankly I’ve started to lose hope. Please pray that God will redeem my life from the pit and restore the joy of His salvation to me, that I can find a sense of direction and maybe even happiness in this life and see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!

  87. LindaK says:

Reading and praying through the requests listed here. Thankful that God invites us to bring our requests to Him and that He hears and answers prayers. My prayer request is for decrease in pain. It seems like before I get one issue resolved something else crops up(wrist, sciatic and lower back pain).

  88. MaryBeth Thomas says:

Praying that the Lord blesses you all with what you need as stated in your posts. God bless you all, sisters.

  89. Rhonda J. says:

Thank you for sharing your hearts, each of you! What a blessing that we are able to lift each other up in prayer to our Savior. Praying is a duty and a privilege. Echoing JenniferlovesJesus, I have come to pray throughout my day as little things come to me, while driving or biking or whatever, and other specific times am more reverent in honoring the King by hitting my knees or lifting my hands, but pray without ceasing. As I am passing people, or reading requests here, or for my unsaved family and of course this crazy, divided world and its leaders. It is our lifeline to Jesus. Even in our distress in the valleys (whether long or short) or from the joys of life, we shall praise and rejoice! (I think I may have to start using the word more- REJOICE!) Rejoice! Praise God that we CAN take our burdens to Him, from Jesus’ work on the cross! Can you imagine going through life without KNOWING JESUS!? He knows everything we experience because of his humanness and because HE is our creator. And He knows the end story, as we do. We may not know the end story of our current situations but we can go to the bible and read the stories God himself has given us to relate to and put our trust in Him.

Again, thank you for sharing what’s on your hearts today, it brings us all closer together and honors God. My prayers have been answered so often and He is a wonder-working God, yet I know life is going to bring more trials as He has told us. But we are a walking example to non-believers in our trials and can use them to help others.

  90. Carleigh Carter says:

Hi Annie, I’m praying this week for comfort and understanding for you. I pray you will remember to cast all your anxieties on the Lord and allow him to help strengthen you.

Prayers for your heart during this time. I pray you find joy in all the ways God is working for His good. I have added you on my list to pray for this week. God bless you.

  93. Carleigh Carter says:

I have written you down to be praying for you and your new role this week Jenn. I pray God provides comfort to you in this new role, leads you in love to those you are teaching, and reminds you how loved and worthy you are despite any outcome.

  94. C.J. Carter says:

*I need prayers for rest that can only be found in Jesus. I am a teacher on summer break and last school year left me feeling drained, tired, and ready to give up. I had hoped to spend this summer resting but it is now July, and I still don’t feel rested enough to go back. Please pray for the rest that is only found in Jesus.

*Recently God has given me a lot of yes answers to my prayers; but I am asking for prayers of patience and understanding to the no answers.

  95. Ruthie Long says:

Hey Sisters. I prayed down the line for as many as I could manage. For all who I didn’t get to, know that Jesus heard it all, the voiced prayers, and the internal prayer worded only by tears or angry yelling or fearful pondering. He hears you and praying for you right now.

  96. Jenn Lundblad says:

I’m starting a new teaching role in the fall and feel completely ill-equipped

  97. Annie says:

Please pray for a freedom from the illogical anxiety I have been struggling with for a while now. Also depression that creeps in too. I know God is greater and is able to heal all. And I know He wants me to be free.

Thank You, Jesus, for the true freedom that can only be found in You.

  98. Megan says:

My husband and I planted a Church in Nashville back in August and it’s been amazing but at the same time so so hard because people come and go. It hurts every time and always has me questioning if we did the right thing. Can you pray for protection over our hearts and that anxiety would cease in Jesus Name? Thank you!

  99. Karen Valente says:

If you could pray for me, I have severe headaches and migraines everyday. I have tried everything under the sun. I pray everyday that other sick people get some relief and comfort from God.

  100. Donna Wolcott says:

My prayer requests are: for my home church as we look for a new pastor and for the transition pastor who will lead us through the search, for a sister who has health issues and her son with addiction, for the strength of the people in Ukraine and for the world to continue its’ support, for this country that is so divided. I will lift each request this day and a prayer of thanksgiving for each of you.

  101. Jennifer Loves Jesus says:

Lifting every heart cry to God. Lord, hear these prayers. I give You thanks for each sister. Every voice lifted in faith. Every stronger heart holding the weaker and You holding us all. Jesus come. Amen.

  102. Jennifer Loves Jesus says:

    *mouth. Ha, gotta love autocorrect!

  103. Jennifer Loves Jesus says:

Prayer. “Prayer is like the dove that Noah sent forth, which blessed him not only when it returned with an olive-leaf in its mount, but when it never returned at all” (Robinsons Job). I used to trip over the “pray always” scriptures, thinking how weird I would look to stop and get on my knees, clasp my hands with eyes closed in the middle of wherever I was… And then I learned to “walk in the Spirit”. (Aha, that feels right.) Now prayer is spontaneous and constant as I move through life because I have become immersed in the Word of God. Sometimes I offer thanksgiving or petitions in a more formal, posture-based way when I feel the weight of others needing intercession, or if I am experiencing immediate pain. But always, I know God is the hearer and answerer of prayer. I pray in faith, heart set intently on God’s will. Sometimes there is fear when I pray, to be honest, especially in a serious life and death situation. But I am learning to offer prayer like the dove Noah sent out, expecting the olive-leaf, released into the sovereign hands of my Father. I remember that we live in a fallen and broken world now, and we will experience pain and affliction. My belief and trust in God sustains me in spite of my feelings or lack of understanding. So, I will keep praying, interceding, giving thanks, and trusting. I know He hears me. Even though I want the olive-leaf now, I know there will come a day when I will get the whole tree. No more pain, no more waiting for answers, we will have all new things in our Eternal Kingdom with Christ. Thanks be to God. I lift my requests to Him for Brett. Lord, Father, Abba, heal his mind from his traumatic brain injuries. May he experience the peace of Your healing hands here on earth as it will be and is in Heaven. Hear my cries for him Yahweh, my God. Hear my cries for my family, let cancer be healed, may their hearts turn fully to You. I lift every member of my family to You, every friend, that if they know you they would trust You fully. Show them Who You are Lord, bring them in close to Your heart so they would experience Your merciful salvation in all fullness. In Jesus’ name, maranatha, amen.

  104. Courtnee says:

Pray for the Lord’s hand in my. We work as preschool director at our church. We hope this can be a blessing to families in the community. Pray for guidance and favor in the licensing process.

  105. Mari V says:

Good Morning sweet SRT sisters. Happy 4th of July! Please pray for both of my kids. Relationships can be hard and we have to work at them. Thankfully nothing major is going on but it hurts to see my daughter cry. Pray for my son as well. Also please pray for guidance as I navigate through other options for work. Plus I have to study for an assessment and possibly take a class in the fall.

  106. Christine Fetscher says:

My sweet niece was born today at 34 weeks. Very unexpected but she is doing okay so far. Please pray that she would remain strong and gain weight so she can come home soon.

  107. Amy Jean says:

Please, pray for our family as we navigate my teenage sons cancer battle. He was diagnosed with leukemia back in November and even though he is doing well and his body is responding to treatment as it should, it seems every week there is a new side effect we have to deal with. And they aren’t minor side effects. They are side effects that keep him from the things he loves – baseball, basketball, even just time with his friends. It is all just so overwhelming and I find myself angry more often than not. There’s no guidebook on this. We lack so many answers. And we are still parenting two other children.

I’m thankful for the reminder in scripture today than I just need to keep showing up. God knows, God sees and the Holy Spirit will intercede through my tears and through my hurt and anger.

  108. Julie Bailon says:

    Praying for you, Diana!

  109. Julie Bailon says:

    Praying for your son, Shelly!

  110. Deanna says:

Multiple back surgeries and a brain stem stroke have gradually taken away my husband’s mobility. His days are filled with pain.
I am his sole care provider.
He doesn’t understand why God hasn’t called him home and tells me I would be so much better off without him to care for.
We have been married 63 years! My life would be empty without him.
We have loving family and are part of a caring church community that prays constantly for us but, even so, some days it’s difficult to keep the faith!
Please pray for his physical comfort and the assurance that God is all knowing, compassionate and all caring, and that he hears us when we cry out to Him.

  111. Rebecca says:

Prayed over every request this morning. So many struggles we all face, but by the grace of God, we don’t face them alone. Believing for answered prayer and His peace in the waiting!
I remember several months ago when I first started with SRT I felt a little ashamed asking for prayer for my children who had walked away from their faith, and my one son struggling with drinking and atheism. Now I see that we ALL deal with the pains of a fallen world. I’m definitely not alone. Thanks for all prayers! ❤️❤️

  112. Shelly Elston says:

Praying now. Lord, be in this situation and bring prompt relief to this sister’s husband.

  113. Shelly Elston says:

Praying fervently for my young adult son. For his faith, his choices, his protection. May his heart stay open to Jesus and heed the Holy Spirit’s convictions.

  114. Jennifer Ficklen says:

Praying for my family, my church, and our nation. I pray that everyone is safe, healthy, but above has the joy that only comes from the father above. Amen…

  115. Kristen says:

Good Morning, Everyone! I just read through the requests and prayed. I can relate with many of the requests, having been in situations like that or going through things too. My husband hasn’t been working at his job for about 6 months. There are other issues. I would appreciate prayer for his health, wisdom, and to follow God’s will for him.

I always think about a message from Dr. Charles Stanley when I read Hebrews 4. He challenged his congregation to come before God and pray that Scripture. He prefaced by saying that we can come only because of Jesus. He talked about coming humbly and on their knees, because He is Holy. He said that they could pray anywhere, but challenged them to go on their knees or face before God. He said to do this simply because of who He is. He said it could transform their prayer life. (I’m paraphrasing. If you would like to listen, the message is called: Where to Turn in Time of Need. Here is a link: https://youtu.be/PlgFpXJXW38

Also, I too ask for prayer for the unsaved. I wrote about my dad before. He is catholic and goes to church. He thinks he can’t go to Heaven because of what he thinks he did in Vietnam. Many of my family know about God, but don’t understand that it is not works, only Jesus. Some many veterans still suffer mentally and physically today. Please pray that all the unsaved, those believing lies, those that are prideful and even hate God, the hopeless, leaders on all levels or anyone that has a following or platform, that in God’s mercy, He would be drawn by any means necessary to Him. I pray that all that prohibits them from bowing and repenting would be removed. I pray that they see themselves rightly and God rightly. I pray that they would hate what God hates and love what He loves. I pray that they/we care more about what He thinks than people. I pray that the God’s Word would be the basis for how we live and our lives. I ask God to do a total transformation and even take our desire to sin away. I pray for mental health to be and addictions to end. I also pray for the abused and pray for a stop to all abuse and for those who have been to be healed and know the love and grace of God. May we all be amazed by Him and love and follow Him all our days. Amen.

  116. Gina says:

I keep returning to a relationship. He and I keep breaking up because I don’t want to be unequally yoked yet I love him and feel so loved by him but he is so hard to reach. He works hard and he doesn’t call me enough and sometimes when I call he doesn’t answer. God help us to be what you want or give me the way to move on. I have never been so content to be in my singleness, but if he is in my life I want to share my life with him. If I call or text it feels like I’m chasing him and that’s unequal. Thanks for your prayers

  117. Dorothy says:

Sisters, I just found out my d-i-l mom passed away last night so if you could keep my d-i-l, Daniale, and her family in your prayers I would appreciate it. Thanks.

  118. Mandi says:

I have twins who just graduated from high school- they have lots of anxiety and fear about the future. They have very different plans for next year and I am very hopeful that that these are good plans for both of them. I would love for them to be able to rest in God’s sovereignty. 119. Amberley says:

Today is my 35th birthday. I have lived in one area for the last 32 years. Movers are arriving on Thursday to pack our house and they load the truck on Friday…. Our family is moving from CA to TN and we leave Sunday afternoon. I know the love is God ordained and while I am super excited, I am also terrified and heartbroken to be leaving. Please pray for me, my husband, two daughters and one son as we go through this huge transition.

  122. Dorothy says:

I would like to start by saying happy fourth of July to all those who live in the USA and THANK YOU to all military people and veterans, if it weren’t for you our nation wouldn’t be free.

I have mentioned I have a devotional Bible titled “Thrive: A Journaling Devotional Bible for Women”, by one of the Scriptures today I found what they call “Treasure of Truth: The God who lives within you is greater that the enemy who comes against you.” when I read it I knew I had to share it.

My d-i-l’s mom, she has stage 4 cancer, is in the hospital dying. It is in a way I believe a blessing she has been in a lot of pain for the last 3-5 months. She has been saved. My son, Andrew, and d-i-l are getting ready to start in-vitro. Dani, my d-i-l, is type A person and I’m not sure how this will effect their chance at have a baby.

Also, I went to see my sister yesterday and had a talk with one of my brothers. My sister admitted to me she had had suicidal ideations but since she was saved didn’t want to. We have decided the first thing we need to do is get her stronger and then get her out of the house she’s in because there are too many bad memories. I’m looking for some one to come in and help her for a few hours a day.

Lastly I’m going to be going to camp starting the 15th of this month and we would like to get much of this taken care before that.

Sisters thank you for all your prayers and know that I pray for every prayer request.

Be blessed and pray often, when happy or sad and know God is always listening.

  123. Courtney says:

  124. Cheryl Connelly says:

Please Pray for my continued strength in returning to my involvement in my local church. After losing my husband last November I struggled alot and it was really difficult to get back to my Bible and my church. With alot of Prayer one day at a time I am overcoming this struggle. This study and the group have helped me continue to grow

  125. Sarah D. says:

Happy Fourth everyone!! Praying for you all, that God would give you comfort and strength and wisdom for you requests mentioned. I would love your prayers for my work. It soon will be getting into our busier season, where we will constantly have inbounds (from what I’ve heard). Please pray for peace, as although I’ve been having more confidence on what I need to do, I still feel anxious during the day. I feel like I’ve been able to push through and just not get too distraught over how I feel, although I wish it was better. I am looking into some other jobs and still praying over whether I want to pursue to teach elementary school. Love you all, thank you for your prayers!

Taylor, so good to “see” you here! Praying for your relationship, that God would be in the center!

  126. Jennifer Adams says:

Kimberley, my daughter had chronic and severe stomach pain when she was 9. After numerous trips to the doctor, X-rays, CT scans, we ended up exploring the option of it being anxiety. We took her to a pediatric psychologist and she provided her with tools to handle stressors. Her stomach issues resolved within a month. Just an idea to explore.

  127. Kerry Rowley says:

Please pray for the resolution to a long standing health issue that I have. Also pray that my sister with cancer will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

  128. Peggy Pappas says:

Praying through these requests this morning. What a blessing to be in community with believers throughout the world. Asking prayer for healing and direction for a hurtful situation brought on by a family member that took away husbands job. Trying to navigate what God wants and not hold resentment. Pray also that I would not be so easily offended when things don’t go my way. I would like to rejoice always and give thanks in everything and be more others focused. I also have an opportunity to serve a crisis pregnancy center but need to take the step to commit. Thank you for your prayers.

  129. Jennifer Adams says:

I have an urgent prayer request for my husband. He has a kidney stone and is in unbearable pain coupled with vomiting. Please pray that his stone would pass TODAY and that his pain and nausea would subside. I’m also praying for you ladies today as you call upon our SRT community.

  130. Regina Brown says:

Please pray for strength and renewal in my marriage. I also ask you Lord for help to communicate better with my Husband. I tend to build up walls whenever I’ve been hurt by the people I love. Help me to let go of my pride and arrogance. Pray for my step daughters to come back to their heavenly father and their earthly father, they have been plagued to long with lies. I also pray for our family members who either do not know Jesus Christ as their savior or have walked away to come back to the family of believers. Praying for all the SRT sisters.

  132. Danielle B says:

So grateful for this time to share each of our requests and pray for each other. I’d appreciate prayer for wisdom in a situation with fellow believers and friends. Please pray for my friend Karen. She completed her chemotherapy in late May and will have surgery this Wednesday to remove what is left of the tumor. She is very anxious about having surgery. Please pray for my parents. My mom had a major medical event in February 2021, which has had lasting effects, including her memory. My dad has had to take on more responsibility in the home, which is wearing him down. He’s having memory blimps as well and his dad had Alzheimer’s, so I know he’s worried about that in him. Thank you for your prayers and lifting up all of yours as well.

  133. CMS says:

Please pray for my friends who separated yesterday. Pray for their children, and also for my husband and I as we try to navigate through this time with them. I feel so lost and helpless.

  134. Sharon, Jersey Girl says:

Praying through all the requests as I read them. May God’s will be done in every circumstance. May we patiently wait for His answers and be willing to accept whatever the His answer may be.

Today I am requesting prayer for my two adult sons who are not acknowledging God in their lives even though they were raised in the faith and in a ministry home. Also please, prayer for our church – my husband has been the pastor for 29 years (this November). Our church needs revitalization, revival, a renewed spirit in all. Covid did a number on our church and we haven’t fully recovered. Numbers are way done and people are so sporadic, it’s very discouraging.

Thank you in advance for your prayers. A Happy 4th to you all! (If your in the states) And a blessed day to all my SRT sisters!

  135. Diana Davis says:

I’ve been having trouble at work because of a lack of leadership and a couple toxic employees. It weighed heavy on me last week, I lost my temper and handled a situation very wrong and left Friday in tears. I’m not looking forward to going back tomorrow.

  136. Betsey Walton says:

My daughter had stomach issues, and the doctor on a whim asked if she was swallowing her toothpaste. She was, and the fluoride was making it hurt. It went away immediately after she stopped. Just a thought! Praying for him and you

  139. Michelle Patire says:

Praying God’s perfect peace over all requests today. Responding to some!

@Lehua- praying the Lord would draw your husband to Him. Only the Lord can draw him closer, so I pray for a move of the Holy Spirit. May you be unified in your values and dreams for business, family, and calling. May you develop skills to stay focused on what you are called to do.

@Arina- I feel for you. Know that God gives strength in our weakness. When you are feeling just so incapable or out of mind, may you know God holds you even then. He will never separate His love from you. He will be with you wherever you go. Hold tight to His truth. I face a similar burden and it is community + Word that gets me through. Keep close to those who are trustworthy and know Jesus.

@Carol– May your daughter in law come to know the God who saves. May she be led by the Spirit and open her heart to Him. One step at a time, may she see He is the God who knows and cares for her, more than any person.

@Stephanie H– God bless your workplace and those whom you minister to. May they know Jesus by your love.

@Rebecca– I pray God’s presence and healing to you and your sister!

@Mary Ann G– believe nothing is impossible for the Lord. Believe He fights this battle FOR you. This is His fight, so continue to give it to Him, in your weakness. You are not alone. I pray for wisdom and grace. Much grace. You are loved and forgiven. Not one thing does He keep on your record by the blood of Jesus — you are free.

@T– my heart goes to you. May you see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. While you wait on God, remember He is our inheritance. He will satisfy you with His presence. I am also in a similar boat– waiting on the Lord. My advice is just stay close to God and don’t let others speak lies into this area of your life.

@Kaitlin Gardner- God bless your faithfulness. I ask God would grant your husband much wisdom into what this congregation needs. Help him focus on the essentials. May the gospel remain the center of everything your church does. May love remain.

@Searching – May God carry these burdens for you. May He uphold you with His righteous right hand. May You rest knowing He’s got it. May You have wisdom and strength, day by day.

@Andrea- I feel you. I just had to take a break from a particular ministry because I felt burnt out. The person who heads the ministry reminded me God will guide me through this. I pray you know the same for you. There’s a podcast by the Daily Grace Co I listened to that helped me figure out some things. It’s titled “Not Growing Weary Using Your Gifts” or something similar. It came out a few weeks ago. I hope it blesses you if you listen!

@Kenya– prayers of wisdom to your family. Prayers of God’s loving kindness to your sister and yourself. I pray you have joy in your pocket- a remembrance of God’s love and miracles He’s done for you. May You carry gratitude for His ultimate sacrifice for us, always. Let that joy permeate every part of your life.

Thank you Jesus for each one of the Shes. Thank you for the love You give us, that we can give one another. You are the best. <3

  140. Angie Mills says:

Pray that I would use the time that God has given me wisely. I am a full time school librarian and part time children’s minister at our church. Finding the time to do both well plus keep up with household chores and other responsibilities and to continue finding time to read my Bible and worship and pray on a daily basis can be challenging. Pray that I would continue to follow God’s leading and direction in all areas of my life. I want everything I do to be done for His glory.

  141. Sherri says:

    Good morning,
I will be going with expectancy to the throne of grace for each of your pray petitions, knowing that our God hears and answers prayers.
*Please pray for our world, we are interconnected and we need each other.
*World leaders, state and city leaders, church leadership.
*Aging family members, adult children’s marriage, careers, relationships, friends and walk with God.
    *My husband’s retirement, what’s next.
*My direction, I’m an empty nester, after being a stay at home and now I’m floundering.
Blessing to each and every one of you.

  144. Holly M. says:

Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed when I start praying because there is just so much to pray for, especially in the world today. But today’s reading is a great reminder of God’s faithfulness to not only hear our prayers, but to intercede for us.
Asking for prayer today for my marriage. We need better communication and more patience and understanding. Also that my husband would have the desire to seek the Lord more on a daily basis through Bible reading and prayer.

  145. Debbie -Pursued by Him says:

My family is not saved. Please pray for their salvation and then that they walk with Jesus the rest of their lives! Thank you!

  146. Holly M. says:

Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed when I start praying because there is just so much to pray for, especially in the world today. But today’s reading is a great reminder of God’s faithfulness to not only hear our prayers, but to intercede for us.

  147. Taylor says:

Hi SRT family <3 I love that we are given the opportunity to pray so specifically for each other. I would love prayer for a possible(?) future relationship. My roommate from college introduced me to her friend from her masters program via social media and he and I have connected. We've Facetimed a handful of times, have a lot in common, similar goals and interests, and he loves Jesus. However, he lives in Texas and I live in Delaware :') We both know what we're looking for in a partner and we've talked about the what if's of long distance, meeting in person, the future, etc. and I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself. Also trying to just lay it down at the feet of Jesus and allow His will to be done. Please pray for my heart that I would seek after the Lord's will above my own and He would lead me to my future husband (whether this guy or someone else) in His timing. Because of the time difference, I've been staying up later than normal because I really enjoy talking to him so I've been feeling a little bit like a zombie the last few days lol. Prayers over the whole situation and my heart would be appreciated <3

  153. Kenya Rafferty says:

One of the greatest commands from todays reading: REJOICE in prayer. Our sermon yesterday reminded us to remember all God has already done and know that in this moment, He will get us through again. There is a rejoice in that. Also a freedom in that God and the Spirit already know, so in our loss for words and prayers, we can just pray for Gods will.
Prayers for my mom in an offer coming through on her house she is selling and the one she wants to buy. Prayers for my sister to find a new job. Prayers for anxiety in my pregnancy – to enjoy instead of fret.

  154. Kenya Rafferty says:

  155. Kathy says:

Please pray for my family. My mother is 91 and living with us. My dad is in an assisted living facility. He has the beginnings of dementia. He is rarely happy and gets angry when he can’t take my mom for rides and take care of her. He can’t! Her health is very frail and he’s not physically or mentally able to do that. It’s a constant battle and is hard to deal with. I need wisdom and patience.

  156. Meghan Hempe says:

Praying for you all this morning! If you would please also pray for me and the upcoming school year (I am a 3rd grade teacher) as there will be lots of changes at my school. This causes me anxiety, but I know God already has it covered! ❤️

But I know that God knows best, love you ladies!

I’m praying for a husband and a family. I believe it is not too late for me :) God has a plan.

  161. Kelly (NEO) says:

So thankful that Gos sees me and knows what I need before I even ask. That He invites me to seek, knock, and ask. Than He is a good Father who delights to give good gifts to His children. And when I “have not because I ask not” the Holy Spirit and Jesus are interceding on my behalf before the throne of grace.

The challenge is to believe that when I get “no” or “later” as an answer, it is not only for my good but for God’s glory. :-)

Thank you ladies for the shout outs yesterday ❤

KIMBERLY HAYWARD – have the doctors checked for Crohn’s in your son? My husband struggled for years as a boy before the doctors figured out that is what he had. Will pray the find out soon so he can get some relief.

  164. Searching says:

Praying through each need so far and will continue as requests are posted today. Prayer is powerful! Praying especially for world leaders and those in abusive situations. My requests are safety for many family members traveling today and throughout the next 5-6 weeks, and wisdom for myself as I have ended up being the go-to person in our family – facing several complicated decisions involving elderly family members and family businesses.
    Love to all you sisters!

Need prayers to break a stronghold

  169. Lehua K. says:

Aloha ladies! I would like to request prayer for several things that have been weighing on my heart:
    -my husband’s salvation
-our health (I’ve seen so many doctors last month for different things, I won’t go into detail here)
-being more self-disciplined with my time and being productive, instead of getting distracted with games and stuff that doesn’t matter; it’s led me to constantly feel worried and depressed because while these games help me bond with my husband, it’s hurting our business that we want to grow, as well as our dreams and plans for the future
-being on the same page as my husband in terms of values and dreams, and actually working toward them

There’s more, but that’s the jist of it.
Will add everyone’s prayers to my prayer log. Have a wonderful 4th of July (if you are in the U.S.) and everyone have a wonderful week!

  170. Carol Rimmer says:

Hey sisters, prayed for you all this morning.

Hi There! I work at a social work company; kindly pray for everyone that is in need today, especially since it is Winter in RSA. Also that they would experience the love of Christ through us.

Kindly also pray for me and my family as I took a huge pay cut to answer this calling and we are experiencing so financial difficulties.

I pray for all of you and please know that I thank God for this (unmet) family that He provided!

    Love in Christ

  175. Rebecca Fuller says:

Hello SRT community! What a blessing it is to be here! I would love prayer for me and my sister. It may seem like a small request, but we did a lot of walking yesterday and our bodies are in pain today as a result. Please pray for healing, that we might have the strength to enjoy our time together and enjoy God’s good creation around us. Thank you and God bless! Rebecca xx
