Hi, friends!!
Let’s circle up for a quick calendar meeting – we want everyone to know what to expect in the next week or so!
The Risen Christ plan wrapped up yesterday (what did you learn? how did the Holy Spirit speak to you?).
Today is a grace day. Because we all need grace days, don’t we? It’s a day to catch up on devotional days you may have had to skip, or to sit quietly in a Psalm, or to journal a prayer. Grace days are a nice change of pace for all of us to meet with the Lord outside of our routine. I love grace days.
Tomorrow, we have a happy gift planned for you. Something related to the Risen Christ plan. Something “just because.”
Saturday will be a good day for us to give an update on the progress of the app design and development. Would you like to see a few of the mockups??? We think you’ll be pleased!
Sundays are typically Weekly Truth days, and even though we’re between plans, we’ll still plan to have a new lock screen ready for you that day! (Are you enjoying the lock screens? Any feedback on those?)
Monday, we’ll launch the new study: NEHEMIAH!! We’re crazy excited about this. This Old Testament book has gripped our hearts so powerfully. (Are we allowed to pick favorites?) As we’ve worked through preparations for this plan, we can’t help but relate with the community in Nehemiah as we, too, are amidst a building project for the Kingdom – with you!
As you may know, we’ve offered a new product to serve as a companion with the online study. The Study Pack comes with a SheReadsTruth Nehemiah Journal with a watercolored map and beautiful benediction, 2 Scripture cards for memorization, and an 8×10 scripture print of one of our favorite verses from Nehemiah. You can absolutely participate in the study without a Study Pack. These are just something you have asked for and it has been our joy to create them.
If you’ve already ordered a study pack, it should be in your hands in time for the study to begin on Monday. If you still want to order one, we’re shipping them out daily, so you’ll get them just as quickly as possible!
And finally, we have a pretty big, fun announcement coming next Wednesday. Something close to our hearts. Something we’ll be doing this summer. Because to whom much is given, much is required. We’re excited about this opportunity to give back, and we’ll get to share that with you next week.
Happy grace day, dear friends! We’re so thankful for you.

Just wondering- I live overseas, and just found out about your Nehemiah Study, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the daily in-box format of She reads truth, but am also a tactile person and love to journal.and love the look of the study pack. Unfortunately for me, it would not be cost effective or timely to order it in printed form. Is there any way to get it in PDF- so I could print it on my printer at home and catch up???
LOVING the lock screens!!
Loving the lock screens, maybe you could also design some desktop backgrounds for computers? That would be ace :)
You guys are such a blessing! xx
Am I missing something about the Nehemiah study? That was the first SRT study I completed, I double checked my journal. Is there a reason/story this is being revisited? I admit I am not a regular, and was thinking I must have missed something.
In love with everything you guys are doing! (The locks screens are great!) so thankful for thcommunity She Reads Truth creates, you guys are soul feeders in The Lord, thank you!!
My Nehemiah study pack came in yesterday’s mail and it’s GORGEOUS! Can’t wait to use it beginning Monday. I am looking forward to the app update, next Wednesday’s announcement, and all of the exciting new parts of our community coming to fruition this summer. God is good! All the time! I am currently away for the weekend enjoying one of my mom’s favorite places — Asheville & Biltmore Estate — as a celebration of so many years & trips here together and honoring her beautiful memory on Mother’s Day weekend. And praising The Lord every moment that although I am alone physically, my mom is here with me in my heart, mind, and spirit. Sisters will you please join me in praying for a greater sense of peace and healing in my heart this weekend? I would truly appreciate it. Love to all and happy Mother’s Day to all the moms of SRT. xo
Mock ups, yes please! I wish I could be one of those beta testers, but so excited to see how the apps are coming along! I enjoyed the Risen Christ plan. I’ve learned new things about the ressurection and ascension and the insight of the community here has also been very helpful. Love the grace days! It’s usually when I go back to read the #SheSharesTruth posts and blogs. I hope it will also continue and encourage more people like me to start up that blog we’ve always wanted to do and share. Weekly Truths have helped me in memorizing more Scriptures. I love the lockscreens! I use them on my phone and I like the designs and it’s always a conversation starter when people see them and ask where I got them from. Another way to tell women about SRT. All the updates and surprises! Our cups are overflowing! The new Nehemiah study on Monday! I’ve been anticipating it since the announcement of the study guide! Thank you SRT team!
I commented yesterday but also wanted to add something here. I LOVE your lock screens – they are beautiful reminders of God's Word each time I look at my phone – which of course is quite often. I did want to make a suggestion, though. Sometimes for me, when there is a person in the image, I find it distracting from the Scripture passage. I'm not really sure why, but I know that I want to focus on the Truth in that verse and for me, having another person's face there in the image just distracts me from that. In the past, when you've had people on your lock screens, I think you've typically offered two images to choose from, which I am very thankful for. I just wanted to put my two cents in about your lock screens – I use them each time you've posted them and love having them – I just wanted you to hear from me. Thanks for your loving & caring understanding!
I love the lock screens! I wish they formatted better for Samsung Gs3’s it often cuts of words. It is more a samsung glitch though. I so love being able to keep God’s precious messages in easy view. I love this community so much, so glad God lead me to it. It enriches my life so much. Thank you for being faithful to your calling, the Father moves through your ministry straight to my heart.
Feedback on the lock screens is LOVE THEM! on my phone every week =)
Thank you for the lock screens! If I did have feedback, it would be that sometimes it doesn’t “fit” well with the iPhone screen. Sometimes it’s hard to adjust it so that the time, date and “slide to unlock” doesn’t cover the text. But I loooove them and saw a comment above about them rotating as a computer background…genius!
Loving the lock screens! They’re such a great way to memorize our weekly verse! So keep tgem coming! Can’t wait for the Nehemiah study! So thankful for you ladies and the impact that God is making through you in the lives of so many!
Love the lock screens!! Wondering if it's too late to order a study pack? Yay grace day. So looking forward to announcements & Monday!!
I love everything about this site! The Nehemiah journal is gorgeous (I received mine yesterday!), the lock screens are awesome- I make myself read mine before unlocking my phone (almost) every time! I'm super excited about your news and so thankful to the Lord that He is blessing all you with such an amazing ministry! :)
I just want to say that I really love the wallpapers you design for us. They are so pretty. It is always good to read the verse every day and to think about it.
Thank you!!!!
I finally figured out how to use the lock screens and I love them. Great encouragement through my day.
I have loved reading all these passages about the ways and times Jesus appeared to His followers. I have found myself hungry for more each day. These scenes were so intimate with Jesus really meeting them right where they needed him. He was giving all those last nuggets of truth. He meets me in the same way. He pours his power into me in the same way.
Have a day filled with His love.
I really love the lock screens! Keep them coming!
I love the lock screen as well. Also hope my study pack comes soon, I ordered it then first day.
I love the locked screens and I just got my study pack in the mail today!!!!
I'm gonna be honest, I came on here feeling lazy to where I didn't want to read through the devotional today. Thank Him that pressing into Him isn't based on how I feel, and that today was a grace day anyways. Lord, forgive my lazy flesh! As for the Risen Christ study, what really stuck out to me was Christ's sweetness towards His disciples… how He made it a point to consistently talk of the peace He gave them, how He gently brought Peter back to Himself after such a shameful sin on Peter's behalf, and How he promised His presence with them always (as real as Him making breakfast for the hungry and lovingly proving himself to the skeptical [Thomas]). He's so forgiving, He's so patient, He's so loving with all of these fleshly, flawed people, and it comforts me to know that He treats me with just the same love, patience, and admonishing, edifying truth to grow me up into the Daughter He has created me to be. Lord, have your way in me. This study has affirmed in me countless times that there is really NO fear or condemnation in the love of Christ! I am so thankful to be apart of such an encouraging, authentic, diverse group of sisters who earnestly seek His face on a daily basis, reading through such amazing truth!! Praise be to God, Jesus Christ, in the Highest! I cannot wait for what God has in store for SRT, and I only hope that I can keep participating and investing in such a beautifully growing community! Be blessed, sisters.
I love you all! :)
I love the lock screens!! Please keep going!!! Thanks so much for the lovely, pretty design! May God bless all the works you did for Him!!!
I love the lock screens. They are beautiful and elegant and remind me of God’s love every time. I am also very excited about the app!! And the other things in store. Also a love was the playlists that you guys did last year. I never said how much they meant to me during the Christmas and Thanksgiving season; I would play them on my commute as an extension of my devotion. Thank you ladies for all of your hard work! May God bless you!
Hello, what a "grace day"! I love that term by the way! Yesterday my youngster and I did the weekly laundry, make a few homemade cards, picked out gifts for Father's day, Anniversaries, and Birthdays, and so we both felt the call to relax and have a low key day (a perfect time for a "grace day")!
I just started joining this Bible study group a couple of Sundays ago. So, I caught the tail end of the "Christ Risen" series. The biggest thing I got from the Holy Spirit (from the tail end) is that God still has plans for me and that he is with me, even when I find it hard to set aside time to be with him.
I haven't been able to get the lock screen to work on my phone, yet. However, I am going to try a different method of trying to get it to work so hopefully it works! Otherwise, I have just been using a 3X5 card and memorizing when I read my Bible.
So far, I have really enjoyed this community and I look forward to more fellowship and studying!
Rebekah, your words are really encouraging, even if you haven't meant them to be! Hearing of your daily walk when everything is so busy and embracing both rest and action whenever God calls you to it is awesome to hear of. The Lord has also made it reassuringly clear that He is with me, and He's shown me how to leave condemnation when I feel like I haven't "met the bar" with studying His word daily. So beautiful. Your card idea is a good one too, as I've been wanting to do something like that when I can't get verses on my laptop. Christ spoke through you here, and I thank you for these words! :) Have a great weekend, sister.
Annalee,Your welcome! Your comment was a good nugget of encouragement to my heart, as well!
I love the lock screens! I got my study packet today and I cannot wait for the study to start on Monday. Excited to see what the big announcement is next Wednesday and what surprise you have for us tomorrow. I just love how SheReadsTruth is growing and expanding. This is such a wonderful and God ordained ministry.
I too Love the lock screens!! Got my study pack today and I LOVE IT! I am in love with the quality of the paper!!! I'm so blessed by your ministry each and every day! You are so encouraging!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!! Excited about all that is happening!!!!
I LOVE the lock screens. I find them so encouraging. Your blog is such a breath of fresh air in troubled times I have been facing. Thanks for all you do!!
Praying for you now, Chelsea! Don't lose heart, girl. You're loved here! May God continually comfort you and give you insight & strength during this time.
I AM SO EXCITED.
I just love how this community and this ministry is exploding. I love the studies (the Risen Christ? I loved slowly working my way through Jesus' last days on earth) and the lock screens (so much God centered loveliness for my phone!) and fact that the APP is coming soon (HUZZAH!) and that there are exciting things coming up in the future.
SRT is blooming in the most beautiful of ways. I am so blessed to be a part of this!
Amen Rachel!! Ah, I'm so excited too!! Praise the Lord, that He's brought us all together and created this ministry through these blessed girls to grow us so much. The Risen Christ was definitely such an encouragement, as studying the relationship between Jesus and the disciples really uncovered a lot of truth about who Christ is and how He feels about/acts towards us. So beautiful!!! So excited for this next study!! Lord, work here! Amen! :)
I am so excited to begin the Nehemiah study! I can't wait!! :)
I too LOVE the lock screens! This past lock screen was the first I added to my phone. This is such a fun sneak peak post, so many exciting things! You guys are doing a great job. I really look forward to opening my email in the mornings along with enjoying the beautiful pictures.
I really love the lock screens! I look forward to them every week and love when you have a couple designs to choose from. However, since I use it as a lock screen on my Android tablet and not on my phone, it usually ends up cutting off words or pretty parts of the photo. If there were multiple sizes/shapes to choose from, that would be awesome! My tablet needs lock screen photos that are approximately square-shaped, then it is cropped from there (not sure of exact pixel dimensions!) I do love the lock screens though!!
Yes to all the things! Your ministry fits my heart just right, and I am ever so pleased to have been with this community. I'm expecting my study pack to arrive this afternoon & I'm so eager! I can't wait to see what MORE you beautiful ladies have in store for us. Thank you again for all you do!
i can't wait to use the study pack! thanks to the she reads truth team!! you gals are amazing and bring me closer to God each day!
I love your lock screens! They are a great constant reminder to what I have been reading during the week. Thank you! :)
I have a request concerning your uploading time though … As I am reading from Europe, I am always "ahead" of you. I was glad that I could keep in step with you, as the text was always online in the morning. But today it was not and I was wondering if this was a bug or if you decided to change your schedule. Just wondering …
Hi @german_janne! Today's post went up later than usual. Most posts will go up at their regular time (midnight EST)!
I use almost every single lock screen! I see it every day and it reminds me of the wonderful things I have Him to thank for, or to remind me to keep my faith in His plan. I can't wait for the app!!
I use the lock screens! I have one that I can't give up on my cellphone, so the others are downloaded to my laptop, and there they rotate, throughout the day. If I happen to come to my desktop (once all the open windows are minimized ;), the rule is — I must PAUSE, and read the scripture that is there. This is a much better kingdom moment for me than looking at the family photos that would cycle through :)
Thanks for the update.
Valanne, I do the same thing here! Whether I make my own or download these pretty ones, the mix of them goes through my family laptop as backgrounds. Sitting and just reading a verse for a minute or two really helps center me! So thank you, SRT!
I totally agree!! The lockscreens have been a constant (and pretty) reminder to memorize and meditate on a passage:) thanks for all you do for us!!<3
Yes on mock-ups, I'm counting down to the new app!!
Also loving the lock screens, they're gorgeous and a wonderful daily reminder of focus. Thank you for all that you're doing!
I am loving the lock screens (since you asked) :) It's a great way for me to get more intentional about memorizing scripture. Thanks ladies!!
