Praising God for giving me discipline to read each morning this year. My first time reading thru. I didn’t comment much as I felt overwhelmed that I didn’t have the right words. I so appreciate the comments of others to help me understand more. I look forward to continuing but something more in depth as I felt I just skimmed the surface. I have a greater feeling of God’s faithfulness in my life and I’m growing in my faith to rely on Him as I learned about his character- that he is our rock and refuge and he is love. I anxiously await meeting Him someday and believe reading his living word has helped me grow my understanding and relationship with Him! ❤️

I so appreciate the comments of others to help me understand more. I look forward to continuing but something more in depth on different books as I felt I just skimmed the surface. I have a greater feeling of God’s faithfulness in my life and I’m growing in my faith to rely on Him as I learned about his character- that he is our rock and refuge and he is love. Until we meet Him someday reading his living word has helped me grow my understanding and relationship with Him!

10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. – Malachi 3:10

I have enjoyed this reading plan. It isn’t the first time that I have read through the Bible but the pieces seem to come together a little more each time I read it through. I also did Paul Tripp’s New Morning Mercies Devotional this year. I LOVE the verse that he ended with …. John 1:16 – NLT “From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.” I compared it with other versions and found The Amplified to be my favorite…”For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].”

John 1:16 truly wraps up what this year through the Bible has shown me. From cover to cover, God has shown His love, mercy and grace to all who will accept it and be obedient to Him. And because we are human, He gives grace upon grace! What a gift we have been given!

I am so happy that I did this plan, especially this year. God has shown me so many amazing things from his word this year that have helped to get through the craziness of 2020.

I am so grateful for this reading plan. I had no idea how much I would need it this year when I decided to set my mind to it January 1 2020. God is good and He is in control.

I’ve been so thankful that I got to participate in reading the whole bible this year. Even during the times I fell behind, God helped me to catch up and here I am at the end! I never want to take the word of God for granted. There are so many places all over the world where the bible is banned. I’m so thankful that I can own and read my bible in my own home. This has been such a blessing this year!
