I started this plan 6 years or so ago when it first came out and I printed it out and kept it in my bible for the longest time. This past year I really committed to finishing it and praise God, I just finished it today. I’m so glad I finally finished it! ❤️ God is good.
What an amazing journey through the Bible! I started 5 years ago, I’m so glad I continued. I’ve seen God’s hand on my life over the last few years. From being in college, to getting through the pandemic, to getting my first job, getting married, and buying a house. From start to finish I’m a different person from this experience and wouldn’t trade my relationship with God for anything. I look forward to continuing to grow and learn in His word!
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. – Revelation 22:17
Praising God for giving me discipline to read each morning this year. My first time reading thru. I didn’t comment much as I felt overwhelmed that I didn’t have the right words. I so appreciate the comments of others to help me understand more. I look forward to continuing but something more in depth as I felt I just skimmed the surface. I have a greater feeling of God’s faithfulness in my life and I’m growing in my faith to rely on Him as I learned about his character- that he is our rock and refuge and he is love. I anxiously await meeting Him someday and believe reading his living word has helped me grow my understanding and relationship with Him! ❤️

10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. – Malachi 3:10
I have enjoyed this reading plan. It isn’t the first time that I have read through the Bible but the pieces seem to come together a little more each time I read it through. I also did Paul Tripp’s New Morning Mercies Devotional this year. I LOVE the verse that he ended with …. John 1:16 – NLT “From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.” I compared it with other versions and found The Amplified to be my favorite…”For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].”
John 1:16 truly wraps up what this year through the Bible has shown me. From cover to cover, God has shown His love, mercy and grace to all who will accept it and be obedient to Him. And because we are human, He gives grace upon grace! What a gift we have been given!
I am so happy that I did this plan, especially this year. God has shown me so many amazing things from his word this year that have helped to get through the craziness of 2020.
I am so grateful for this reading plan. I had no idea how much I would need it this year when I decided to set my mind to it January 1 2020. God is good and He is in control.
I’ve been so thankful that I got to participate in reading the whole bible this year. Even during the times I fell behind, God helped me to catch up and here I am at the end! I never want to take the word of God for granted. There are so many places all over the world where the bible is banned. I’m so thankful that I can own and read my bible in my own home. This has been such a blessing this year!
An incredible journey it’s been to walk with Jesus this year and read and learn from the Word almost daily. I’ve certainly noticed that I’m never satisfied and I’m grateful for that. I never want to be satisfied. I always want to thirst for the living water!! I never want to stop learning about who God is, what He’s done, what He continues to do, and what He promises He will do.
I’m grateful for the names that I’ve seen nearly every day of this reading plan! Your comments were encouraging and brought much joy and gratitude. Prayers for you all, my sisters in Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Walk in the way of the Lord ♥️♥️
2020, what a year to decide to read all of God’s words to us! What an amazing blessing to ground myself in the Truth almost everyday, whilst this crazy year has twisted and turned. So thankful for this app and our awesome Father God, our precious saviour and the Holy spirit, who has constantly reaveled God’s glory to my heart. Big love in our Lord to everyone who’s been blessed from this reading plan. Xxx
10Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
It took me two years instead of one, but it’s so fulfilling to have finished!! What an amazing God we serve who has left us so many examples of how to walk through hard times, ordinary life, and how he is with us in all situations. “Come, Lord Jesus. May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.”
Thank you to SRT and all of you for your comments and insight! Over this past year I’ve gained a new love for God’s Word and look forward to continue reading and learning. We serve an amazing God!
Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen! ❤️
Thank you so much SRT! This is the first time I have ever completed the Bible in one year. I have tried so many times before and would lose focus or take years to finish. So much was gleaned this year and renewed in my heart and I look forward to starting this journey again tomorrow and the years to come. ❤️. Thanks to Journey women for the encouragement to use your reading plan too.
Amen, Come Lord Jesus! Today marks 18 mos from my ‘Bible in a Year’ launch. I finished.
John 21:25 comes to mind:
“Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.”
It’s exciting to see all of you finishing this year! I too have completed this year! I’m looking forward to reading through the Bible in 2019! God is good
I enjoyed this community as we read the Bible together. This was my 6th time. God reveals himself more each time! Many blessings to each of you as you enter 2019!
Yay! So incredible bless to have completed the whole Bible for the first time! Thank you She Reads Truth for the plan! God is good, thank you for this blessing!
Hooray! What a joy to read God’s Word with you all this year! Thank you, SRT, for the reading plan, and sisters, for your love and support. Looking forward to continuing to grow with you in other plans. Happy New Year! May the Lord bless and keep each of you and yours!
So pleased to have completed this in under a year (I only found the plan half way through January last year)! Now deciding whether to start again in a different version or to go a bit slower and go into more detail studying the passages I read. Thank you SRT for the reading plan!
So excited I had to finish a bit early this time! I was 65 when I first stumbled upon She Reads Truth in a blog post of “favorite things”. That seemingly “random” blog post made a difference in my life, bringing me to greater knowledge of an awesome God. I was raised in the church, yet I’d never nor did I ever expect to read the Bible in full. Now, thanks to SRT’s daily plan, I have read the entirety of the Bible not once, but twice. So, to all of you, young or old, to all who might feel overwhelmed with life in our times, or to those who for any reason feel discouraged, persevere. Read, study, pray when you are able. You have a sisterhood of members across the world who care for and pray for you, but most importantly, we have a Savior and a loving and generous Father who will pursue us no matter. Thank you, She Reads Truth, for this daily reading plan and for all your inspirational devotion plans.
Overjoyed and full of thanks to God for giving us HIS WORD! Reading the bible through in one year has been such a sweet experience as I looked forward to the time I spent together with my Savior every day!! He has spoken to me through His written word and I have listened!! He loves deeply and I am more in Love with Jesus today than I was a year ago!! Thank you my precious sisters!! We have reason to celebrate. Our God is GOOD AND HE REIGNS Forever!!
my first time reading the Bible in a year. thanks so much SRT for the plan, and thanks to this community that is always loving and gracious. happy new year!
I too started reading on 1/1/15. It has been such a blessing to read everyone’s comment through out . Sometime giving me a different prospective on scriptures that were tough to get! Thank you SRT Ladies for putting this plan together! I am ready to start reading it again. Gaining more knowledge and understanding of our Great God and his plan for us! Happy New Year SRT family!!
I’ve always wanted to read the whole bible but never had an organized plan. Thank you SRT for helping me achieve this goal! Whoo Hoo!! And thank you ladies for the insightful comments in that day’s reading. Each and everyone of you!
Thank you SRT! I did it! I read the Bible in a year, first time for me! This has made me more hungry for the word of God! Congratulations to all! God bless and Happy New Year!
Woohoo!! Congrats everyone! And thank you SRT! This has been my first time reading the entire Bible and my best kept resolution! Blessings to all of you ladies this year!!
I am another first timer for reading the complete bible in a year! Thank you SRT for giving us the format. I wouldn’t have made it through without the comments section, it made those difficult days easier to understand. I think this is the first and most important resolution I have ever succeeded at!
Thanks everyone who posted and made this such a vibrant community. Although I wasn’t perfect 86%, I learned so much in this 1 year. God bless you -all!
What an amazing year spent in the word. I am thankful for srt, this app helped me reach my goal!! Be blessed sisters and I pray we all stay in the word this year.
What a blessing this plan has been for me in 2015! While I started this plan “solo”, I didn’t realize how it would quickly feel like I had an accountability group of many other women I didn’t know, working towards the same goals as me. :) Happy New Year, everyone, and thanks to SRT for providing such a wonderful app!
Agreed! Thanks SRT for making this plan easy to follow and right at our fingertips wherever we are! Thank you sisters for the great comments! Thank you God for loving us so much and giving us Your Holy Word. Looking forward to another year of reading in 2016… So much more to glean!
Cannot wait to get started again tomorrow!! I joined in in November, I’ve learned so much already! I’ve been looking forward to starting from the beginning! Thank you SRT :)
YAY!! I just finished and wish I could give high fives to my fellow readers on this journey! I am so thankful for SRT! I feel like I just finished a marathon. I can’t imagine NOT being in The Word now. Thanks be to God for His Word and His servants at SRT!
Blessings to you all in 2016!
Thanks again, SRT team, for setting this up in such a way that so many actually accomplished reading the Bible in a year! I’m not a usual commenter, but I’ve enjoyed reading comments from others throughout the year, so thanks to the community too. 100%! I am even thinking about doing it again because I know I’d pick up so much more the second time through. Happy New Year’s Eve, and peace and happiness to everyone in the upcoming year!
bravo ladies! I’ve loved reading through the entire bible with you this year. how can it have been a year already? last year at this time I had a two month old and my husband was deployed (and would be for 4 1/2 more months) – I needed this study more than ever this year. loneliness, exhaustion, and adjusting into my new role as a mother has been no cake walk, but being in the word everyday (or close to everyday) has been such a gracious gift from the Lord! I’ve enjoyed revisiting the OT and see just how perfectly Jesus fulfills all it’s promises and seeing so plainly the plot of the Bible – God’s rescue plan – has been both humbling and exciting!
I look into 2016 with expectation! I may not know what’s coming next, but I know the Lord will challenge, strengthen, and teach. I’m not gonna lie, I’m also looking forward to a little less reading so I can dig a little deeper in my studying ;)
Happy New Year! I have absolutely loved reading through with all of you this year; it’s been such a blessing to read comments and get a deeper understanding of His word. Will there be another Bible in a year plan this year? I would do it again too :)
This has been an incredible year. Like many of the others women here, this is my first time sticking to it every day for a year. I feel like I am on the beginning of a journey, not the end though. I will do it again in 2016 because I learned that God has something to say to me everyday…and being in the word like this has changed my life..the way I think, the way I honor God and people around me…I don’t even have the words, but I love God’s word even more than I did before! Happy New Year friends!!
I just started reading this plan three days ago, but I’m so excited and it is so amazing to read the words, “Surely, I am coming soon.” Yes, Jesus, come soon.
Beautiful-closing of the Old with the closing of the New. We did it! This is my first time reading cover to cover in a year- what a blessing this has been! Thank you SRT for your faithful commitment to women in the Word
every day! =)
Reading through the Bible in a year is the first New Year’s resolution I’ve ever kept – and i can’t think of a better one to have kept! I’ve never read through the Bible, and I must say I’m astounded at its power. The overarching theme that stands out to me is also the very first thing I learned as a child in VBS…Jesus loves me this I know for the BIBLE tells me so! Jesus truly is on EVERY page! Thank u SRT, and thank all u she’s who I’ve enjoyed sharing this journey! Happy 2016!
How amazing is it to see all of these posts from women who have read the entire Bible in a year for the first time?! And you can add me to that list. God is truly amazing. SRT, thank you for allowing God to work through you to reach so many people. Sometimes it struck me as crazy that I was reading this ancient text on an iPad, seeing comments from women around the world who were reading the same thing as me. God is the Alpha and Omega; He can work through anything and is always relevant.
100% complete! I am so overwhelmed! I have always struggled with inconsistency in my devotions. This had let to self-defeating and unhealthy guilt. On 1/01/2015 I made a commitment to this plan. I wrote in my journal “I know I will not be able to complete this on my own… But God is able!” Throughout this journey I felt God’s peace. Even in the times when I fell behind, I felt God’s grace, not guilt. I am so thankful for the She Reads Truth team for creating this app and challenge!
Reading through the Bible with the SRT community this year has been a great blessing. Thank you SRT. Now that I’ve finished is there any way to re-set the check marks in the app (iPhone user) so I can start again in 2016?
Thank you SRT for such a great plan to follow! I am so grateful to have completed the plan! Much love to the staff and all the ‘shes’. Happy new year everyone!
Thank You SRT!!! This plan has been amazing, so glad I stuck with it. I’ve never read through the entire bible, thank you for continuing to strive & challenge us!!! ❤️
What a fantastic year in God’s Word it has been! Thank you, SRT, for providing me with the motivation to dig deep and study the Bible like never before. Happy New Year, ladies!
Yayyyyyy!! Just finished it, can’t believe I managed to read the bible in a year. What a great achievement for 2015. Can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store
I can’t believe it’s finished. Thank you SRT for this plan, it was the first time I read the entire Bible. I had some moments when I got so behind I thought I should give up. Thankful I didn’t.
finally finished! i’m so glad i found a reading plan that worked for me via SRT! this year has been something else, but the Word of God was constant through it.
My first year reading the Bible all the way through also and SRT really helped me stay on task. Got to share a lot of verses with my grandson and I have really enjoyed getting to know my new friends on this spiritual journey through the Bible. Thank you for all the helpful comments.
This too was my first year reading The Bible all the way through in one year. I started two months late but caught up. I’ve enjoyed reading all of your comments. This app has been such a blessing. Thanks to She Reads Truth and all the “she’s”. I can’t wait to start this again in the new year. God bless you all and see you next year! :)
I’m at a loss for words. God’s unwavering devotion to see us made into vessels for His glory, of our own volition, is astounding. To think the Israelites continuously tried to make God smaller, less important, less Holy, less powerful to intervene in their own lives by their refusal to fear Him and His holy standard of righteousness through their bent towards sin. Yet God rich in mercy offered Himself up as a living sacrifice for their sins. To think there is a day where Gods dwelling place will be with us. He will be our source of light. We will see Him face to face and His name will be written on us. I’m blessed to have been apart of this SRT community and amazing journey this year. Thank you!!
And it’s complete. The bible in a year. Can’t even believe I completed it. Thanks SRT for this reading plan. It’s been a long wonderful journey. Such an accomplishment and although I didn’t “get it all” I know God will bless this faithfulness to His word. I was also so blessed by the comments each day and insight of women taking this journey with me. What a great way to end 2015 and welcome the new!
Just finished! I have always wanted to read the bible, from front to back… I had started many times but as it got difficult I would skip to the New Testament or psalms as I love these. Finishing this has been an emotional and enlightening achievement. Thank you SRT for putting this together. Praise God for all your good works, may he continue to bless you all in your ministry, the world needs more people spreading God’s love, being His Light to others xx
Praise God for His grace! :) It is also my first time to read the Bible in a year and it helped me so much with my perspective and understanding of God’s great plan of redemption!
Thank you so much SRT for putting up this reading plan for us! Thank you to all the “she’s” who have been with me in this journey this year… your comments have been a huge help especially during the hard books… Praying that everyone of us was able to encounter God in a much deeper level through this reading plan! Have a blessed New Year to all of you! :)
Thank you for including The Bible In A Year on the app. I began on 1/1/15 and accelerated my reading. I have enjoyed every moment in His word. I agree with Caroline reading both the Old and New Testament together was brilliant. I can’t wait to see wait you bring to us in the new year!
Started 1/1/15 and finished the 365 study today!!! I’m expecting a baby soon so decided to accelerate my reading a little. Thank you so much SRT for putting this wonderful study together! This is my first time reading the whole bible :-) and you made it so easy, interesting and relevant (I loved the way the old and New Testament readings complimented each other. Praise be to God! Thank you for your glorious words!
If you\’re an iPhone user, downloading the newest app update should resolve the problem!
If you\’re an Android user, hang tight! The update is on its way!

Finished out 2023, Rang in 2024. Finished the Bible in a year! So blessed!! Great is Thy faithfulness to me!
There is something to be said for the ending. “Come Lord Jesus.”

That’s encouraging, I’m in college now and I started this reading plan in December. So I hope I finish by next December! Happy New Years.

Wow. This is my second time. I’m getting ready to start the third.
i was rocky this year but i know that next year i’ll be able to do it well. Thank God for a wonderful year!
I started on the last day, but it’s a jump start for 2019! Can’t wait to see what God reveals this year through His Word!
Yay! First time finishing the Bible in a year!
Way to go! It’s a big commitment with a big blessing!
Finished! This is my second time to read through the entire Bible and the first time I’ve done it in a year. And it was such a blessing to do so.
Yay! So incredible bless to have completed the whole Bible for the first time! Thank you She Reads Truth for the plan! God is good, thank you for this blessing!
This has been a great year!!! So blessed to have finished!

my first time reading the Bible in a year. thanks so much SRT for the plan, and thanks to this community that is always loving and gracious. happy new year!
Thank you SRT for this plan/app/study/community!!!
Hooray! Thanks SRT for this amazing plan. It was the only resolution I was able to keep this year. And it’s by far the best!
Congratulations everyone! It’s been a pleasure reading through the bible with you this year. Don’t stop now! Dig deep! Blessings in the coming year :)
YAY!! I just finished and wish I could give high fives to my fellow readers on this journey! I am so thankful for SRT! I feel like I just finished a marathon. I can’t imagine NOT being in The Word now. Thanks be to God for His Word and His servants at SRT!
Blessings to you all in 2016!
Praise Him!
Happy New Years friends!
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
Blessings to you all in the new year! May we all meet someday in His eternal kingdom! In the meantime, see ya in other SRT forums! It’s been real.
Amen! Thank you, Jesus, for Your grace. With His strength, we did it, ladies! Praise God.
Amen! Come Lord Jesus!! Thank you all for an amazing year!!!
:)
Beautiful-closing of the Old with the closing of the New. We did it! This is my first time reading cover to cover in a year- what a blessing this has been! Thank you SRT for your faithful commitment to women in the Word
every day! =)
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus
Amen, Amen. Come Lord Jesus.
Happy 2016!
:) yeah!
So cool! :) congrats!
Woot woot! Congrats Kristi!
We did it!!! Thanks SRT!
=)
:)
Finished! Ready for smaller bits of scripture to study now! A good year of reading!
Reading through the Bible with the SRT community this year has been a great blessing. Thank you SRT. Now that I’ve finished is there any way to re-set the check marks in the app (iPhone user) so I can start again in 2016?
Amazing! This is my first time to stick with reading the bible all the way through! Thank you SRT for making this possible!
Congrats Heather! It has been an incredible experience!

Yayyyyyy!! Just finished it, can’t believe I managed to read the bible in a year. What a great achievement for 2015. Can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store
Thank you SRT for this fantastic plan. I can’t believe I’ve got through it all
I can’t believe it’s finished.
So thankful for the fruit you have seen as a result of reading through the Bible. Blessings to you, Betty.
Way to go, Brenda!
Thank you!!
Amen!
Amen!
Dani, congratulations!! So excited for you! Thanks for joining us for a full year in God’s Word.
Grace and Peace,
Kaitlin
Praise God for His grace! :) It is also my first time to read the Bible in a year and it helped me so much with my perspective and understanding of God’s great plan of redemption!
Thank you so much SRT for putting up this reading plan for us! Thank you to all the “she’s” who have been with me in this journey this year… your comments have been a huge help especially during the hard books… Praying that everyone of us was able to encounter God in a much deeper level through this reading plan! Have a blessed New Year to all of you! :)
Misce, thank you for joining us! What an accomplishment!! Grateful for you, friend. Happy New Year!
