  1. Mallory Grant says:

He is our foundation. He is who we are!

  2. Lauren Garza says:

He is complete. He is faithful. He is good. He is our foundation. He is who prevails. He is the God of heaven and earth. He opens. He is worthy. He is on the throne.

  3. mckenzie helmuth says:

Love this picture in revelation of how Jesus is portrayed as the lamb that was slain.

  4. Carol Bowman says:

    12saying with a loud voice,

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”

  5. Laura Andersen says:

The Bible Project video for Revelations points out that John hears the elder talking of “The Lion & the conqueror” yet John turns and see “a lamb that was slain”. It is fascinating how both descriptions are accurate views of Jesus. How the narrative of salvation is so different than what the Jews were expecting!

  6. Sarah Johnson says:

It is such a cool picture to see elders and the holiest in Heaven fall at the feet of Jesus as he opens the scroll in revelation. It reminds me of the song “I can only imagine” where the singer talks about what he’ll do when he meets Jesus. We’ll probably all fall at his feet too overwhelmed by his love!! I can’t wait!!

  7. E Hong says:

11And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord,

    “For he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.”

And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

  8. Laura Green says:

Amen! It’s a heartwarming feeling to know that the God of Israel is THE God who still watches over and cares for me

  9. Steph C says:

“Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation” (Revelation 5:9). His death, His blood provided a ransom for all who will claim it in repentance and faith. Oh Redeemer, thank you for your effectual sacrifice!

  10. Miranda says:

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain for us!!!!

  11. Amanda C says:

Amen Sophia! Help me to remember, Lord, that it is not what the world wants that makes me happy, but what you want that makes me happy! Thank you God for loving me.

  12. Sophia says:

These people are trying to carry out the work of God and others are mocking and trying to discourage them. Lord, help me to remember that when doing your work there will be push back. Give me the strength and encouragement to stand it, even if it is from other Christians. The only thing that matter is what You think of me, I’m not here to follow empty rules.

    1. Carie says:

      Amen Sophia!

    2. Hesaved83 says:

Amen…I thank God for wisdom, discernment, faith, and patience to endure during trying times!

  13. Christina D. says:

4 Then the peoples around them set out to discourage the people of Judah and make them afraid to go on building.
This is such strong affirmation to me that when we are doing the work of the Lord the devil always finds a way to try and deter us. Discouragement and fear are powerful but God is so much more powerful when we continue to seek and follow His direction.

    1. Hesaved83 says:

      Amen!

  14. NatLovesChrist says:

    Yes!!

  15. xofLori says:
