That stuck out to me too! As I meditated on it, it made me think about how our actions and obedience matter even when what we feel like we are doing is “small and of little account”
175 Let my soul live and praise you,
and let your rules help me.
His rules and laws are not meant for condemnation. They were designed to guide us on the straight and narrow to His love. They are boundaries to keep us safe within his pasture. When we stop cursing the rules and trying to live in our own way of rebellion, we can come before Him with grateful, praise filled hearts. Thank you Father for your rules, corrections, insight, and boundaries – that you desire to keep us safe and keep us close to you, so we may live and live eternally.
119:165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your instruction; nothing makes them stumble.
Re-reading all of Ps 119 today in a state of high stress and anxiety from a job that is incredibly more demanding than I was told at the onset brings incredible peace and comfort that I am not alone in my struggle with holding onto righteousness and truth in an evil world. My coworkers have no source of hope or peace. As bad as things are…at least I have a refuge to run to, promises to hold onto, Someone who is holding onto me. I don’t know how to be a light when no one is willing to budge. Praying He can somehow shine through. Praying my anger & frustration can be turned to joyful, peaceful, steadfast hope.
Praying alongside you as well, SarahMay, that as Christians, we continue to fight the good fight- and it is a fight- to preserve and obey the word of God. I am continually thankful that God loves us and encourages us to live for Him alone, not for human beings. What hope we have in Him!
Psalm 119 has been so beautiful to read over a few weeks. There’s so much to rest and think on in this Psalm. The last 8 verses are so great to read before church today..
119: 175 Let me live that I may praise you,
and may your laws sustain me.
All glory and praise to God! Have a good Sunday friends!

He is righteous. He is trustworthy. He is true. He is near. His word is everlasting. He gives life. He saves. He hears. He seeks us.
It hits my heart – I am small and of little account yet I do not forget your precepts

God’s promises are thoroughly tested!
151But you are near, O Lord,
and all your commandments are true.
God is the teacher of His truth. The One who gives understanding. Help me Lord to love your Law, please grant understanding.
165Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble.
162I rejoice at your word
like one who finds great spoil.
What a beautiful cry of a believer!❤️
Praise God who watches over His people. His laws are holy and beautiful. Let His judgment and mercy flow.
God is truly amazing, his selflessness towards us and his undeniable forgiveness and his love. Oh how thankful I am for our lord!
Praise the Lord! Let us keep our faith strong and praise his name everyday we are blessed to have.
Thank You God

Praying along with you. Deep empathy and understanding from a nurse. I so wish we could visit! But i’ll settle for praying for each other. – hugs.
