How have I been shipwrecked in faith? Whether it be the World, a friend, or my own sin or temptations, so often I let the wind that blow in my sails direct me off course in my pursuit for truth and my relationship with God. Lord let me never be “handed over to Satan” so that I be taught a lesson. Keep me guided by the breath of yours Spirit.
“18 This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight, 19 keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith. 20 Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan, so that they will be taught not to blaspheme.”

The Lord could easily demand we follow Him, but He doesn’t. He doesn’t want robots, but obedient & sincere followers. He gave His instruction, and it is our choice to walk in that way or turn to what we understand (deceptively) to be better. And He is always willing to have us back if we humble ourselves and turn to Him.-
