  4. Jaecelyn Hernandez says:

I love how even though the city is being condemned for doing wrong, the lord still says that with everything he is doing, he is bringing peace that will crush satan

  5. Sharon Ide says:

In this passage in Jeremiah, Judah is particularly condemned for serving other gods and then coming before the One True God. May we also know that it is blasphemous to serve two masters. Oh Lord, help us not to seek to worship the world and then desire spirituality before You. You are God alone and the Lord Jesus is alone Master over our lives.

  6. Tricia Tembreull says:

27 “I have made you an assayer and a tester among My people, That you may know and assay their way.”

Do I do this? Do I use the gift of right judgement, wisdom and knowledge given to me at my baptism to recognize the way of the lord in everyone I meet? Or do I give into flattery and affirmation too easily? Lord reaffirm in my spirit a wisdom to assay the ways of my self and mankind.

  7. Aubrie says:

doing exactly what verse 16 says – looking to the Word for the examples of those who walked in the good way, the ancient paths of earlier prophets, and choose to walk in the same faith-driven obedience. That starts right here making time for the Lord and filling ourselves with truth each day (even if you’re a day behind like me!) to give us perspective for the circumstances the Lord has each of us in.
