  1. Lauren Garza says:

    He wants us. He is just. He corrects. He wants us to repent. He returns and restores. There is no one like the true God. The righteous Lord is in us. He never fails. He will judge fairly. He died for us all.

  3. Karen Collins says:

    “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
    and every tongue shall confess to God.” – Nahum 10-11

    19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. – Romans 14:19

  7. Jessi says:

    Lord please help myself and others be less judgmental

  8. Jessi says:

    10 But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. – Romans 14:10

  9. Chrystal Johnson says:

  10. Carol Bowman says:

    17The Lord your God is in your midst,
    a mighty one who will save;
    he will rejoice over you with gladness;
    he will quiet you by his love;
    he will exult over you with loud singing.

  11. Jasmine R says:

    This is awesome Rebecca! I was having a hard time understanding what was being said, but this clarifies so much!

  12. Amber Adkins says:

    Soo much conviction in my heart as I read Romans. Lord I pray to do better and be better. Help me not to judge those I don’t agree with.

  13. Sarah Johnson says:

    The kingdom of God isn’t eating or drinking, but it’s righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Wow. If we all grounded ourselves in this knowledge every morning, I think it would allow us to approach each day and each situation we encounter with a lot more grace and mercy toward others

  14. Amy B says:

    17The Lord your God is in your midst,
    a mighty one who will save;
    he will rejoice over you with gladness;
    he will quiet you by his love;
    he will exult over you with loud singing.

  15. Sharon Ide says:

    2She listens to no voice;
    she accepts no correction.
    She does not trust in the Lord;
    she does not draw near to her God.

    The end of chapter 3 comes as such an unwarranted relief. Wretched Israel is promised a paradise and rescue that is not offered to Ninevah in Nahum. May we remember that we were to be as Ninevah, and yet we’re redeemed. We did not listen to His voice, we accepted no correction. We did not trust in the Lord, but He has granted us faith and caused us to draw near to Him. Thank you Abba Father, we are utterly undeserving to be called your own.

  16. E Hong says:

    17The Lord your God is in your midst,
    a mighty one who will save;
    he will rejoice over you with gladness;
    he will quiet you by his love;
    he will exult over you with loud singing.

  17. JoAnn Foley-DeFiore says:

    17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

  18. JoAnn Foley-DeFiore says:

    9“For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples
    to a pure speech,
    that all of them may call upon the name of the Lord
    and serve him with one accord.
    16On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
    “Fear not, O Zion;
    let not your hands grow weak.
    17The Lord your God is in your midst,
    a mighty one who will save;
    he will rejoice over you with gladness;
    he will quiet you by his love;
    he will exult over you with loud singing.”

  19. Crystal Davidson says:

    For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

  20. Crystal Davidson says:

    23But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

  21. Bobbi T-B says:

    So much good in Romans today!
    14:15 Do not destroy… someone for whom Christ died

    What a piece of humble pie that verse is
    ❤️

  22. BF says:

    Reading Romans 14 about responding in love to those who live out their faith differently than us, particularly when it comes to opinion and personal likes and dislikes. I have heard this before and find it so helpful: IN ESSENTIALS, UNITY. IN NON-ESSENTIALS, LIBERTY. IN ALL THINGS, CHARITY.

  23. Ann says:

    Finally caught up to my reading plan! Hello y’all! God is soooooo GOOD!

    1. Kristen says:

      All the time!

  24. Rachel Whitten says:

    12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
    Love this! Some people don’t realize that we will have to give an account to the Lord on judgement day

  25. Loved these scriptures !

  26. Caylee says:

    Great verses in Romans

  27. TGBTG says:

    Romans 14. So much good advice.

  28. K says:

    8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

    Never not His, never without His grace, never alone.
    His eternal, always mind blowing!

  29. Katrina says:

    Romans 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

    Let’s focus on loving on and learning from one another rather than questions or judging one another! What a great reminder in my reading this morning I had to share.

  30. Kimberly says:

    Zephaniah 3:17 is probably my favorite verse for this season of my life. Isn’t it crazy that our God loves his sinful, wrathful, spiteful children SO MUCH that He delights over them in song? Ladies, we are loved so incredibly deeply. I stand amazed in His grace and mercy!

    1. Justine Fern says:

      ah! I love it too! I love singing to my baby son and I can’t imagine how much more the Lord loves singing over us!

  31. Jessica Stilley says:

    Praying for you Melissa! I relate to a similar circumstance like that a lot. Praying God gives you the words and the strength you need.

  32. Melissagrace says:

    Good morning ladies
    I have been partaking in this reading plan since the beginning of the year, and reading your comments daily have encouraged me in the Lord so immensely! I’ve never commented before but I have such a heavy burden on my heart that I come before y’all today asking for prayer. Within the next few days I will be meeting with a man who hurt me so badly a year ago. For a year I let the fear of him and the anger I felt towards him just cripple me. I will be meeting with him to tell him I forgive him for the pain and humiliation he caused me. It’s not easy. I am terrified of what seeing him face to face will do to me and I know I can only do it with the strength of our good God. Thank you sweet sisters!

    1. Leah S says:

      Prayers Melissa…that’s really hard to do/face. I pray God gives you peace and calm in your heart.

    2. Stac says:

      Praying that His peace will rule your heart and mind, Melissa.

    3. Justine Fern says:

      oh Melissa, you are prayed for, loved on, and I pray that the Lord washes a peace over you in anticipation of this meeting.

    4. Christina D. says:

      Praying Melissa. Praying that you feel the Lord’s protection surrounding you completely and you will feel so confident and calm.

    5. Kelley says:

      I am praying for you Melissagrace, what a beautiful embodiment of our Lord Jesus to forgive when it’s not “deserved,” because if He did that, we’d all be hopeless. I will pray that God engulfs you with peace/comfort in knowing your identity, worth, value is firmly founded in Jesus and therefore this man has no power over you. I will also be praying that He helps you see this man as He does so you are able to empathize and pray for him, which may seem impossible now. Thank you for sharing – our God is so good :)

    6. ~Grace & Peace says:

      May God go before you, Melissagrace. However it turns out, know that you will be free because of your willingness to release the anger. Blessings to you!

      1. TGBTG says:

        Dear Melissagrace, my prayers are with you. I hope you have someone with you or close by to help you if need be. Our Lord will be with you to provide calm and strength.

    7. TGBTG says:

      Dear Melissagrace, my prayers are with you. I hope you have someone with you or close by to help you if need be. Our Lord will be with you to provide calm and strength.

    8. Kara says:

      May God be with you and calm your heart. I hope you will walk away with a huge burden relieved!

    9. Heidi L says:

      Praying today for you Melissagrace. Knowing “things” just don’t go away after we face them… Praying for continued peace in your heart and continued forgiveness to flood your mind.

    10. Melinda says:

      I know you posted this 2 years ago but I just wanted to tell you that the Lord used your situation to strengthens me as I go through the very same thing at this very moment two years later. If anyone sees this, please pray for me, just a simple prayer so that peace that passes beyond all understanding fills us all. Thank you sisters :)

      1. Kelly says:

        Reading this now. Praying for you Melinda.

  33. alielle47 says:

    4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

  34. EmmaRae says:

    7 Be silent before the Lord God!
    For the day of the Lord is near;
    the Lord has prepared a sacrifice
    and consecrated his guests.
    8 And on the day of the Lord’s sacrifice—
    “I will punish the officials and the king’s sons
    and all who array themselves in foreign attire.
    9 On that day I will punish
    everyone who leaps over the threshold,
    and those who fill their master’s house
    with violence and fraud.

    14 The great day of the Lord is near,
    near and hastening fast;
    the sound of the day of the Lord is bitter;
    the mighty man cries aloud there.
    15 A day of wrath is that day,
    a day of distress and anguish,
    a day of ruin and devastation,
    a day of darkness and gloom,
    a day of clouds and thick darkness,
    16 a day of trumpet blast and battle cry
    against the fortified cities
    and against the lofty battlements.

    I had a dream a year ago with this exact description. I believe it to be a dream or vision from God because I had not read this verse before and did not know about what is to come. I fear the Lord yet I do not fully trust in Him. I need help and guidance to aid my trust in our Father.

    1. Lyndsay says:

      Praying the Lord will enable your trust in Him to grow!

    2. TGBTG says:

      Prayers for your trust.

  35. Jessica says:

    Reading theses verses, I had this image of God’s wrath as a purifying fire and rushing stream, and it the middle is Christ as a large rock dividing the stream in two and taking the wrath so that we who stand under him in the safe space aren’t swept away. So thankful for Christ and his salvation!

    1. Carie says:

      What a beautiful image Jessica! Thank you Jesus for being mighty to save!

    2. Justine Fern says:

      what a beautiful vision Jessica! thank you for sharing!

  36. Becky says:

    I am overwhelmed by what is waiting for those who trust in the Lord and are humble. God says that he will quiet them with his love and rejoice over them with singing. Though he’s speaking specifically to Israel, I feel that we can apply to ourselves today these truths about God’s wrath and jealousy for his name and our judgment or reward based on our attitude toward Him. Am I willing to receive correction? Am I humble in spirit with ears open to His voice and leading? Or do I forge ahead with my own way in my own strength? Even if I’m doing something “good”, if it is without considering God’s will and without prayer and searching for His heart, it can become displeasing to him, like a sacrifice offered in pride and self-gratification.

    1. Amanda says:

      Great reflection Becky! I pulled out a few of the same verses because I believe that God continues to sing over us but we have to be open to hearing Him.
