  1. Sara says:

    19 You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
Such a beautiful image! So freeing!

    1. Christina D. says:

      Agreed!! Love that!

  2. Liz says:

Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 ❤️

  3. Katrina says:

Sisters I find solace in you here at SRT! My family needs prayer for positivity through tough times and those are blessings. Thank you!

Romans 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

We were meant for so much more than we see – if we believe in Gods purpose, we can be molded into what he sees in us!

    1. Annie says:

Agreed. Although we are nearsighted, there will be a day when it will all just ‘click’. Keep moving forward!

    2. TGBTG says:

      My prayers are with you.

  4. Anne-Marie says:

Having come back to SRT and attempting to get back into the community; I’m asking for prayer, sweet sisters. To keep it short and sweet, my family and I have not attended church in almost a year, and I am choosing the things of this world over my Lord and King. The war is real in my flesh. Reading Romans and Micah today was honey to my soul. I have faith that G-d knows exactly what is going on, and I believe He will not let me go. I just am finding it increasingly difficult to stay in the faith without fellowship with other believers.
Thank you in advance dear sisters in Christ! Much love to all of you.

    1. Leah Swindon says:

Welcome back! I pray you find a way to get “community” to help you through this journey!

    2. Linda says:

Oh! Just by coming back you have made angels sing! Your foundation is the Rock! I pray you continue to be fed sweet honey from the Word to strengthen and support you.

    3. Hesaved83 says:

      Praying, Anne-Marie!

    4. Pam B says:

We all need community in this journey of faith. I hope you are also able to find a wonderful church family as well. :-)

    5. Christina D. says:

16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
Praying this verse over you Anne-Marie. It takes a lot to return to the Lord. I am thankful our God is merciful and praying that you will feel His mercy and desire for you to draw near.

    6. Justine Fern says:

praying for you Anne-Marie! thank you for your raw honesty. praying that this transition season back into community is drenched in grace and patience and more honey dipped gems from His word!

    7. Heidi L says:

Praying for your family to unite against the enemy (John 8:44) and hold fast to the one and only true God. He is faithful and will keep you until that day. Keep on keeping on sister.

  5. Katie R says:

I love my bible’s notes on Micah 7:5-7 today. Micah is watching and waiting for the Lord, despite his shattered trust in humanity. By definition, ‘go wait’ literally means ‘to hope.’ In our society, waiting is ranked right up there with having a root canal. We are told, “get going. Get busy. Do something!” But according to the Bible,’waiting’ has definite merit.

Hope that’s a good reminder to you today that whatever God has you waiting for, it IS good!

    1. Laura says:

      Thank you! I needed this!

  6. Nicole says:

    8 He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
–such a great charge to us!

    1. Justine Fern says:

ah! this verse caught my attention as well! I get so distracted by all the things I feel I must do to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord – and then verses like this sweep in and not only humble me but encourage me.

  7. TGBTG says:

Micah 7:7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
    This we can trust.

  8. Sarah says:

It’s interesting how both passages talk about God’s “remnant” (in ESV). I was also struck by that sentence in Micah, “he delights in steadfast love.” When I harbor anger, let me delight in steadfast love so much that I do not remain angry!
