Having come back to SRT and attempting to get back into the community; I’m asking for prayer, sweet sisters. To keep it short and sweet, my family and I have not attended church in almost a year, and I am choosing the things of this world over my Lord and King. The war is real in my flesh. Reading Romans and Micah today was honey to my soul. I have faith that G-d knows exactly what is going on, and I believe He will not let me go. I just am finding it increasingly difficult to stay in the faith without fellowship with other believers.

I love my bible’s notes on Micah 7:5-7 today. Micah is watching and waiting for the Lord, despite his shattered trust in humanity. By definition, ‘go wait’ literally means ‘to hope.’ In our society, waiting is ranked right up there with having a root canal. We are told, “get going. Get busy. Do something!” But according to the Bible,’waiting’ has definite merit.
Hope that’s a good reminder to you today that whatever God has you waiting for, it IS good!

–such a great charge to us!-
ah! this verse caught my attention as well! I get so distracted by all the things I feel I must do to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord – and then verses like this sweep in and not only humble me but encourage me.

Micah 7:7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
This we can trust. -
It’s interesting how both passages talk about God’s “remnant” (in ESV). I was also struck by that sentence in Micah, “he delights in steadfast love.” When I harbor anger, let me delight in steadfast love so much that I do not remain angry!
