  1. JoAnn Foley-DeFiore says:

    8He has told you, O man, what is good;
    and what does the Lord require of you
    but to do justice, and to love kindness,
    and to walk humbly with your God?

  2. Tricia Tembreull says:

    16 So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.

    I love this imagery! In a single day I could be both the woman who runs and the woman who does God’s will. Praise the lord Gods mercy is greater than my actions and inactions.

  3. Beth says:

    I love the comparison he makes with the sand on the beach. While he knows the number of the sand he doesn’t name them. We humans don’t have numbers but we have names

    1. Ruby says:

      I like that too, Beth! Never noticed it.

  4. AnnieB says:

    In this single chapter Paul quotes Genesis x3, exodus x2, isaiah x4, Hosea x2 and Malachi x1. – That’s a lot of weight to make his point- that God had been working in and on his people from the beginning of time- calling and teaching us through his word. To point us to how He wants us to have a right relationship with him. – how to make it happen. I’m excited to know I’ve read almost all if those references already thanks to this program. I feel the weight of history in God’s Word working in my life today.

    Love it!

  6. 18 Who is a God like you,
    who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
    of the remnant of his inheritance?
    You do not stay angry forever
    but delight to show mercy.
    19 You will again have compassion on us;
    you will tread our sins underfoot
    and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
    20 You will be faithful to Jacob,
    and show love to Abraham,
    as you pledged on oath to our ancestors
    in days long ago.

    I’m catching up and I’m just floored by how great and awesome our Daddy God is

    I loved the reading in Micah. I think it’s brilliantly written. The imagery is so rich and I could just read it over and over again.
