Micah 1-3 tells us of a grossly immoral and wicked people who think that they have the favor and protection of the Lord. Often, when we preach the gospel truth to people, they think themselves to be recipients of God’s love and forgiveness, when it is actually His wrath they will be under. It is a sad state to be deceived about your eternal destiny. It reminds me of the “workers of lawlessness” who tell Jesus that they had done many works in His name before they are cast out. May we seek to rescue these souls where we see them in our lives and plead with them the truth, that their sin is detestable to God, and that they must humble themselves to repent and believe in the gift of salvation through the death and righteousness of Christ!

  5. JoAnn Foley-DeFiore says:

4in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 17and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

  6. E Hong says:

2For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
