Righteous doesn’t come from obedience. It comes from faith in Jesus. He will make us new. He delights in us. He rejoices in us. He cares for us. He will do what is right. He is our father and vengeance is His. He is faithful. He is compassionate. We are his. He comes down and He is the potter. He is always faithful. We sin and need Him daily. He is grace. He gave his son. He is God of all.
I pray he softens my heart so I can love, learn, fear, and listen to Him.
19 Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. – Romans 3:19
3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. – Romans 3:3,26
It is difficult to follow Isaiah at times because it transitions from future to past to present without warning. But what that shows us is the perfect justice, wise timing, and merciful promises of our unchanging God.
Romans 3:22-24
22This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
All our negative doesn’t even put a dent in God’s positive. Which doesn’t give us the right to be more negative but shows us we need to be more Christ-like.
“To shock your enemies into facing you”
I see a lot of connections to what’s happening right now in the world. There have been so many natural disasters recently all over the world…I pray that it turns our hearts back to Him…acknowledging his power.
I loved Isaiah 63:7, which spoke about “recounting love,” as though God’s immense love for us is something that must be constantly brought to the forefront of our minds.
‘8 But now, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay, and you are our potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
9 Be not so terribly angry, O Lord,
and remember not iniquity forever.
Behold, please look, we are all your people.’
Let me live out what you have created me to be. Let me lean into God’s word and listen for direction in how to go about my day, as to be on display for God.
3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
Every little girl needs to be read Isaiah 62! We are God’s Delight! Going forth with this truth today!
Romans 3:27 27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.
He knows our Faith and teaches us So well that it’s “actions and not words” that determine how Faithful we are to Him!
I’ve been praying for myself to release any worry or stress to Him – nerves are normal especially when the unknown is dancing in front of us. I talk about it all the time so I must practice when I preach!
I think a pre-drive workout is part of the trick! Happy Monday!
Always working on releasing stress and trusting Him instead of worrying! Thank You for this reminder that I must be faithful and give it all to the Lord!
24 They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. This is a wonderful reminder that we are made right in God’s eyes through Jesus.

I love the image of the mountains trembling before god that is given in Isaiah.

8For he said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will not deal falsely.”
And he became their Savior.

Absolutely in love with this! God gives us positive things to love about Him and ways to live by Him everyday.

“…So
You led Your people,
To make for
Yourself
A glorious name.”
Father, lead me today in Your righteousness, that Your name might be glorified. Amen.
Amen!

Those verses spoke to me too

Amen! I loved 62! I’ve been having a hard time understanding Isaiah so this chapter was so refreshing.
My favorite verse today by far!
Yes, do true. Thank you!
