    I will bless the Lord at all times, his praises shall continually be in my mouth, my soul shall make her boast in the Lord, the humble shall hear there of and be glad, oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together .

  3. SarahMay says:

    Ps 118:29 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
    His faithful love endures forever.

    It seems there is no struggle—battle, famine, disease, captivity, etc. that was a reason to NOT give thanks in these chapters. REMEMBER the Lord’s goodness. Call on Him continually. He is our help. Idols cannot save. In my daily struggles—high demands at work, things not as I’d hoped/prayed for in life, it’s easy to have a pity party and say, “why me?!” Turn back to the Lord, Beloved, remember His goodness, His faithful love that endures forever. Be at rest, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to me. Take refuge in the Lord and not in man. The Lord is my helper, my strength, my song, my salvation. I will not die but live and PROCLAIM what He has done.

    Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
    His faithful love endures forever.

    Another translation says “Because He kneels down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath”
    This act of turning His ear is, at the heart, like He is kneeling to listen. A humble submission to His own love and tender carefulness for us. How great He is and how small we are, and yet how great we are in His Heart, in His mind, and in His thoughts for a single one of us, thoughts which cannot be numbered like the sand in the sea.

    1. Abby C says:

      love that translation!!!

  8. Debbi says:

    1. Debbie says:
