  15. Laura says:

    25 “Who will you compare Me to,
    or who is My equal? ” asks the Holy One.
    26 Look up and see:
    who created these?
    He brings out the starry host by number;
    He calls all of them by name.
    Because of His great power and strength,
    not one of them is missing.

    27 Jacob, why do you say,
    and Israel, why do you assert:
    “My way is hidden from the Lord,
    and my claim is ignored by my God”?
    28 Do you not know?
    Have you not heard?
    Yahweh is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the whole earth.
    He never grows faint or weary;
    there is no limit to His understanding.

    Such a comfort when you are walking through the unimaginable…He is so good, so powerful, there is nothing to fear!

    What an adventure Paul is having! God’s provision and protection is awesome!

  17. Katie R says:

    My bible talks a bit about the reference to flying like an eagle in Is. 40:31- they are able to fly quickly and have feathers designed to minimize turbulence, so they move smoothly through the air. They can soar for long distances with minimal flapping and are able to conserve their energy. How sweet to think that our hope in the Lord lets us soar smoothly, reduce turbulence, and manage our energy so we can run and not grow weary!

    1. Christina D. says:

      Beautiful illustration. Thank you for sharing!

    Agreed ladies! Isaiah 40 was like a beautiful psalm in the middle of this challenging prophecy.

  19. Katrina P says:

    Isaiah 40: 14 Whom did he consult,
    and who made him understand?
    Who taught him the path of justice,
    and taught him knowledge,
    and showed him the way of understanding?

    Always a reminder just who leads us on the right path!

  20. Jessica says:

    Isaiah 40 is just beautiful! How great and holy and good is our God!
