There are some fascinating points in time here but I do not know if I see these people center to heart. You can find some validity but I most certainly will take hold opinion until I take a look at it further. Great write-up , thanks therefore we want a lot more! Put into FeedBurner too

Encouraged so deeply by the reading from Isaiah! He is faithful to bring to fruition what he has promised. He is worthy of our trust and our lives. Even in illness, he rested on the promises of God: Isaiah 38:17 “in your love you kept me from the out of destruction; you have out all my sins behind your back”…..38:20 “the Lord will save me and we we will sing with stringed instruments all the days of our lives in the temple of the Lord.”

I meant hezekiah! My keyboard is not cooperating today haha

  3. Suzanne says:

My takeaway from Isaiah today is that I should remember first, every day, to thank God for his love and mercy and blessing before I ever start to pray about my circumstances.

  4. Laura says:

14 Hezekiah took the letter from the messengers, read it, then went up to the Lord’s temple and spread it out before the Lord.
So wise of him to go to the only One who can do anything! He understood where his help comes from and gave it to the Lord right away. And the Lord came through in a mighty way! And He did for Himself and for David…I thought that was interesting.

I’m so amazed at the power of Hezekiah’s prayer in Isaiah 38! Such a good reminder to pray boldly today!

I agree that Acts is such a great read! I’m learning this week that TRUST and PRAYER are what lead us to let God into our hearts and to handle our lives much better than we could ourselves.

  7. Danielle says:

What an amazingly beautiful heart of praise and thanksgiving Hezekiah had after God healed him. To think that God chose to preserve such a heart in his word! I can live by that example.

I am learning so much in Acts. I never really paid much attention to this book before.

Me either. How cool the angel even points out these sailors are being saved because of the call put on Paul’s life.

Have you ever read a voice in the wind by francine rivers? If you have, then you may recognize this mentioned in the book. It’s super cool!

Actually, it’s in the second book of the Mark of the Lion series
