I loved reading the boldness of Hezekiah! We don’t need to be afraid to ask God for things.. he racked on 15 years to Hezekiahs life! Haha DANG! I want to be in that place of intimacy and friendship with God to ask him those sorts of requests and talk to Him about that stuff. I’m also encouraged about how Paul says an angel of the Lord visited him on the boat and told Him a promise from the Lord(that Paul needs to stand before Caesar) so God promises Paul that His will WOULD come to pass and the other men on the boat were in God’s favor because they were traveling with Paul. That stuck out to me!

  6. Kristyn Ricketts says:

I love that god can make promises to us through scripture!

  7. Meredith says:

I love that Hezekiah laid the letter out before the Lord. For years, I subconsciously prayed about material needs mainly; but recently, it’s really hit me that I can discuss everything with the Lord–things that bother me, things that I enjoy, things that make me wonder but I don’t even know how what to pray…the letter makes me think of Hezekiah and the Lord just being good friends and hashing out life together. I love that relationship.
