I have been struggling with my thoughts for a long time and I still don’t understand how I can be righteous but still be or think evil thoughts like the wicked one who are talked about in this passage. I think it boils down to me not seeing myself as someone who is save even though I believe that Jesus did die for our sins. I still have this disconnect with myself and the reconciliation He has given me for Himself.

8 On every side the wicked prowl,
as vileness is exalted among the children of man. – Psalms 12:8 I worry every day about the world my daughter will grow up in. There is so much wickedness and hatred in the world. I am so thankful to serve a God who will help us when we are surrounded by sin.
