Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
He will again have compassion on us;
he will vanquish our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea.

Jesus forgives us because He knows that we will fall short and sin
Thanks for the breakdown Tina and song reminder. So good!❤️
On this grace day I’m praying for God’s grace as we make our way back to TX from Oregon.
Praying for a smooth journey. So grateful for His mercies for your family!
Praying for stamina and safety and safe retutn travel for your son! ❤
Good morning SRT sisters and happy Saturday. Asking for prayers for our community. On the 4th an officer was ambushed, shot and killed. The suspect then shot himself.
Also prayers for stamina for me as one of my part time jobs is coming to an end. The company is shutting down the store where I work. We are unable to hire more associates and we have some leaving for college. The company has also had our manager go to other stores to help them get compliant with policies. It puts more responsibility on me. I am very sad for I have enjoyed this job these last 5 years.
Thank you always for your comments for I am here with you every day.
Prayers for stamina ( I just used that word in reply to Susan! lol) as you help with this closing wrap up. ❤
Tina’s comment once again reminded me of a song:
.
ONE THING REMAINS
Passion, Kristian Stanfill – One Thing Remains (Lyrics And Chords/Live)
Partial lyrics:
Your love never fails, never gives up
Never runs out on me…
On and on and on and on it goes
Yes it overwhelms and satisfies my soul
And I never, ever, have to be afraid
‘Cause this one thing remains
This one thing, remains
Your love never fails, never gives up
Never runs out on me
.
Love, hugs. and prayers! ❤
WE (I) are (am) Forgiven!
Hi ladies, please keep me in your prayers for safe driving and a good vacation with my Mom this week. We live in the hot Southwest and are heading to the mountains today. Grateful for this break but a like anxious about the rainy weather there and our doings!
Prayers for a safe trip and refreshing times! ❤
I am piggy backing off of Tina’s catch of the word “again”. I’m currently in a small group and we just read the account in Genesis when the Israelites were hungry and grinning and God gave them manna with specific instructions on how much to take per person and when. Of course some took more and on the Sabbath, turning it to maggots. We talked about what this shows us about who God is. It came to me that he really is such a gentle Father. He could’ve sent them back to Egypt after their grumbling, removed the manna when they didn’t follow his instructions, BUT he didn’t. I’ve read this so many times but this time saw so clearly how their rescue and wandering so mimics our own faith walk. God rescued them from Egypt, but they still had 400 years of Egypt inside of them that needed relearning, restoring, and healing. They failed again and again, but God never let them out of his sight. We are saved when we accept Jesus, but we still need the work of the Holy Spirit to sanctify us as we continue to walk in the wilderness. We aren’t so different from them.
*groaning not grinning lol
gone gone gone gone, yes my sins are gone
❤️
He will…
.
Thanks be to God that He did and will do it again ♥️

Update: Young mama’s insurance denied the request for treatment facility. Little guy is on his way to out-of-state family’s home.

Amen, Kelly! Continued prayers for you, young mama, and little guy to be safe and feel secure and loved in this strange home. I pray mama and son can be reunited soon! ❤

GM She’s!
Such an impact verse! (why is “impactful” not a word, I always use it anyway usually!)
I loved that Tina put the definitions of Vanquish and Iniquities together to give us more understanding.
We as parents understand this because our children forever are challenging us, yet we still, even as we try to correct them, keep moving forward, forgetting how they drive us crazy by doing the same things over and over again. It gives us a little perspective of how we can drive God crazy with our rebellion. But when we truly are sorry, He forgives us. Even when we constantly go back to that same sin that trips us up, He still forgives when we are earnestly wanting to repent, and try to change our direction. The great thing- he never brings it up again!! We won’t have to account for our forgiving sins when we get to heaven! That is amazing! We would quite dread it if we new the tab of payment was waiting ahead. But no, we can enthusiastically await heaven.
Can you imagine going home from college for every visit, and your mom and dad got out the list of all the things you did wrong, even since your last trip home? You would not want to go home.
Praying ya’ll have a great wkd! I have my last class today from the new group I created “Balance and Strength with Jesus!” It combined our Physical health with our Spiritual health! Stretching to praise and worship music! We also have been memorizing a correlating scripture to our focus each week! It has been really good!
Good news! Impactful IS a word! And the perfect one to use for today’s verse! ❤️
❤❤❤
TINA’s ❤️ breakdown today hit the mark for me today.
.
Going back to yesterday, James 1:14-15 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
.
What am I doing/exposing myself to that could result in me being “drawn away by his own desires and enticed”?
First word that comes to mind, the dreaded compromise. Let’s stand strong in God’s Word, sisters.
.
TRACI GENDRON ❤️ I am so sad about this turn in Debbie’s health. Praying for peace in her days, and the Lord’s comfort for her family and friends. Praying also for Ashton’s baby boy, that the surgery will be perfectly timed & expertly performed once he arrives.
LISA H praying for Andrew’s shunt replacement coming up Monday, for a smooth surgery and for the new shunt to regulate as needed. Thankful the MRI revealed no growth ❤️
CINDY HANNA ❤️
JANE K ❤️
RHONDA J ❤️ “religion turned into a relationship”:
WENDY B ❤️ “we should not wish away the things that keep us on our knees before the Lord”
TAYNA ❤️ continuing to pray for Rita
CEE GEE ❤️
MERCY ❤️
.
In the loss of my original comment notes yesterday was a prayer request for myself that I didn’t feel led to put in my reconstructed post. My need was a solution to a situation where I was caught in the middle and getting squeezed… the Lord provided the perfect phrase that eased me out of the worst of it, and the remainder should resolve today. Thank you, Lord.
❤️ Praying complete resolution comes today.
Praying for all! Thanks for the list and praying that you situation will be resolved.
So sorry you are in that hard place, Searching! Praying for complete resolution and reconciliation today! ❤
❤️❤️❤️
❤️
Amen
He will again have compassion on us;
he will vanquish our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea.
.
I had to look up vanquish and iniquities..I needed to see how they fitted together in this verse..
.
Vanquish-to completely conquer, subdue, or overmaster an enemy or evil.
Iniquities-moral distortion, a twisted character, or a willful and repeated choice to do wrong..OUCH!
.
HE will again have compassion on us;
.
HE will COMPLETELY CONQUER, SUBDUE, (OR OVERMASTER AN ENERMY OR EVIL) our MORAL DISTORTION, TWISTED CHARACTER OR OUR WILLFUL AND REPEATED CHOICE TO DO WRONG..
.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea.
.
Something else, I noticed in this verse.. ‘You will again..’
I mean, this is an on going right? GOD never gives up, from that time in history till now, HE is still showing compassion, giving us grace-unmerited favour, giving love, forgiveness, and blessings that we, for sure don’t deserve.. or are entitled to..
.
In a language I understand..GNT says it this way..
You will be merciful to us once again.
You will trample our sins underfoot and send them to the bottom of the sea!
.
Oh, how HE loves us. Truly, truly loves us..
You guessed it.. the song , How He loves us came to mind..
Here’s a verse..
.
He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy,
When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these affliction eclipsed by glory,
And I realise just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me..
And oh, how He love us
Oh how He loves us
How He loves us all..
.
BUT GOD..
.
AMEN..
.
Prayerful over you all, my dears.. that your weekend is covered in His Grace and Love..
Hugs, always..
Tina ❤️
