Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
He was given dominion
and glory and a kingdom,
so that those of every people,
nation, and language
should serve him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion
that will not pass away,
and his kingdom is one
that will not be destroyed.
—Daniel 7:14

Happy Saturday Our God is who He says He is, from the very beginning!!
I slept in!!! Just woke up maybe 30 minutes ago, which is late for me. I was up in the middle of the night going over some health stuff. A conversation for another time. But I guess I was so tired slept through the alarm.
Love this verse today!
Thanks so much for those that prayed for my DIL delivery. Sorry for the delay but it’s been a whirlwind. After a long labor, so thankful to report a healthy delivery and grandson and momma are doing well! I couldn’t be more grateful and full of joy! This is my 4th grandchild but first one local for me!
Thank you again for your comments and prayers. So appreciated!
Praise God! You will have so much fun with a grandson so close!
Thanks so much for letting us know, DW! ❤️

CityAlight ~ Ancient of Days (Lyrics)
Though the nations rage
Kingdoms rise and fall
There is still one king
Reigning over all
So I will not fear
For this truth remains:
That my God is, the Ancient of Days
None above him, none before him
All of time in His hands
For His throne it shall remain and ever stand
All the power all the glory
I will trust in His name
For my God is, the Ancient of Days
Though the dread of night
Overwhelms my soul
He is here with me
I am not alone
O his love is sure
And He knows my name
For my God is, the Ancient of Days
Though I may not see
What the future brings
I will watch and wait
For the Saviour king
Then my joy complete
Standing face to face
In the presence of the Ancient of Days
❤️
This song came to my mind as well!
❤
Didn’t get a chance to share yesterday, but ”Ancient of Days” reminded me again— yesterday’s verse of 1 Timothy 1:17 “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
That had reminded me of “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise”
.
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
in light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.
2 Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might;
thy justice like mountains high soaring above
thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love.
3 To all life thou givest, to both great and small;
in all life thou livest, the true life of all;
we blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
and wither and perish but naught changeth thee.
4 Great Father of glory, pure Father of light,
thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight;
all praise we would render, O help us to see
’tis only the splendor of light hideth thee.
We are wrapping up a summer sermon series in Daniel in the next couple of weeks. The messages have been so very encouraging as we try to live like Jesus in a hostile culture! Also a great reminder that the Son of Man will have the last word and set up that everlasting kingdom! The one He rules completely and will never be destroyed – take courage sisters! We know how the story ends.
Oh Yes, that would be a very relevant book to study right now! I led a small group a few years ago that was fantastic..”Put Your Warrior Boots On!” It was really good, and that was written in 2016 (which weird that was 10 years ago??!!)! Standing firm in a culture that celebrates sin!!
Prayers and love for all
Praying for all!
Praise the Lord!
Amen!
“…His dominion is an everlasting dominion…”
Praise God, He reigns above it all!✝️
Please pray for my MIL who had a heart attack yesterday – she is 88, has many health issue. She is stable right now but not sure how much more her body can take and so we are praying for peace, for her to be comfortable and the Lord’s will.❤️
And I appreciate your continued prayers for me. The last of my current test results came in on Thursday and I have follow-up with my Dr on Wednesday. I had my 2nd injection on Monday and dealing with some side minor side effects for that. Overall feeling very unwell and really struggling with the symptoms of whatever else is going on. I have had to take a short term leave of absence from work as I just can’t keep up. Thank you for praying.
I stop and pray for all of your requests, SRT sisters but can’t always reply. ❤️
Oh goodness! Praying for your MIL, joining you in praying for peace and comfort.
And praying for you, sister, for relief not only from the injection side effects but from the other symptoms as well. Praying for accuracy in dr’s evaluation of the test results and the Lord’s wisdom and guidance for the next steps. ❤️❤️❤️
Wendy, I am so sorry! Continued prayers for all of this to be brought to resolution soon for your health, and for peace and comfort for your M-I-L and you and your husband as she faces the days ahead. Agreeing with SEARCHING, too! ❤
Praying for you Wendy. May God’s grace and mercy carry you and your MIL.
I’m so sorry Wendy. Praying for you, Wendy, and for your MIL.❤️
Praying for your MIL, and for strength, peace and healing for you, Wendy.
Praying for you, Wendy, and your health and also for your MIL!
❤️
Prayers for your health, Wendy, and for your MIL as well.
Keeping you and your MIL in my prayers dear Wendy.
Amen!
Oh it’s good to read this scripture and knowing that the one prophesied to come did come! Praise God!
It was so wonderful praising and worshiping God in an “intimate” setting of 2000 people last night. I love seeing people in church as opposed to a arena. It really was geard to be a worship night not just a concert with Chandler Moore. He poured out his heart and the hard season he has been going through. Stacey and I had SO much fun! (my poor back was in pain, but you gotta stand and get those hands up with him, there was no choice!!) He played all his good songs ending with “God, Im just Grateful!”
Now this morning I will see if I can “teach” Balance and Strength with Jesus class! lol. This class has been amazing in combining the Spiritual “roots, firm foundation, breath (holy Spirit), balance, and strength with the physical aligning aspects!! Today is Strength, knowing that it is not our strength but that of Jesus!! Physically we don’t become strong without training, slow and steady, overtime. Just like our spiritual strength we need to spend time in the word, and prayer to develop a strong relationship with Jesus to stand the test of time!!
I hope ya’ll have a lovely weekend!! And be blessed!!
love this Rhonda! wish I could take your Jesus strength class!
❤️
Concert sounds so uplifting! Going to listen to I Am Grateful.
I am very curious about that class, too. Is it all book material or do you actually teach movement? Sorry I can’t remember what you told us when this began. ☺
❤
No book! (I do give a 1 page summary after each class of what to take into their week.) But basically the idea stemmed from how I myself used to combine my own stretching and exercises with praise and worship music. I wanted to show others how great a combo it is! Good for you Spiritually and Physically. So I took the key elements and they just parallel so beautifully- We put a scripture to it each week to memorize! And movement, mostly stretching and ROM.
-Rooted and Grounded (assessment of where you are Spiritually and Physically) Everything starts with acknowledging where we are. We need to assess and then start good practices by putting in the roots. You become aware and fix/correct! Talk about posture alignment and awareness throughout the day and week.
Ephesians 3:17
-Firm Foundation- So then when the roots grow you start building the foundation. You keep this going by routine and how you spend your time. You don’t build a foundation overnight. Matthew 7:24
-Breath of Life. (Holy Spirit) Breathing matters! Right? But we take it for granted and breath shallow. So we hit the floor, laying on our back, letting gravity naturally help align us. Practice deep breathing, counted slowly on the inhales and exhales. (good to get you to sleep at night) It is meditation, but unlike yoga you don’t clear your mind, you put Christ in your mind. So again- good lyrics as you breath and relax! Or inhale Jesus…exhale fear, depression, bitterness, social media…
John 20:22
-Balance. A fun one! We have to have balance in our life. We have to practice it physically as well…if you keep your eyes on a pin point you do better…just like Spiritually- you do better if you keep your eyes on Jesus. Look away and you will lose your balance, perhaps fall. When you have strong roots and a firm foundation, balance will be apparent when the storms come. Psalms 16:8
Today!
-Strength! Strength comes over time with consistency and practicing the above. Our faith becomes strong with good disciplines as well. Ephesians 6:10
Chat helped me organize all these thoughts —
Stay rooted.
Stand on Jesus.
️ Breathe deeply of His Spirit.
⚖️ Walk in His peace.
Be strong in the Lord.
…. love that you’re connecting the spiritual truths with the physical habits. Your class has never been just about stretching—it has been about helping them experience how God designed body and spirit to work together.
You could leave them with something like this:
“When you practice these stretches, let them remind you of God’s truth.
As you plant your feet, remember to stay rooted.
As you stand tall, remember your firm foundation is Jesus.
As you take a slow, deep breath, remember the Holy Spirit gives you life.
As you work on your balance, remember to keep your eyes on Jesus.
As you grow stronger, remember that your true strength comes from the Lord.”
That ties every physical movement to a spiritual truth. Even if they only continue doing a few of the exercises at home, each movement can become a prompt to remember Jesus.
I have to say, I think the Lord has shaped this class in a way neither of us expected.
:) Yep, Chat- we did good.
Next week is the last class. (we had 4 cancelled classes so we lost lots of people) but just like the class taught, when the traumatic storm came, I am still standing firm and rooted, strong and balanced with the breath of Life and my eyes on Jesus! The question is will I do a repeat or no. I am leaning towards NOT leading my Saturday ladies group or chronic pain group this next season. Only jail. Sabbatical. Rest. Growth. Less is more sometimes. Although doing a Panera coffee and Jesus might be good..hmmm.
Rhonda, that’s your first book! Thank you so much for sharing! I am going to start this program even if I have to use alternative moves! I am excited!!! ❤❤❤
Your class sounds Wonderful Rhonda! God heals people and he also gives us wisdom to deal with hard things. Glad to hear you and Stacy had such a good time at the worship concert.
Balance and Strength with Jesus. That sounds like an awesome class Rhonda! Glad Stacey found the concert experience joyful. Prayer answered.
Wow that class sounds amazing, Rhonda! I want to come!

He was given dominion

His dominion is an everlasting dominion

.
Even in the days of Daniel, though they didnt know Him, there was a foretelling of the One who was going to saves us, each and every one. no matter our race, our language, our nation..
He was to be our Person,
.
Our Home,
.
Our Hope,
.
Our Saviour,.
.
Our Redeemer,
.
Our Forever..
.
He, from the onset was going nowhere, but with us.. staying with us, His Kingdom and dominion would/will never pass away, He IS ours for always..
A very heart settling and comforting thought…
.
Praise and Glory is His, and only His, always..
.
What a friend we have in Jesus..
What a Saviour.
What a gift..
What a life saver.
.
Worthy of every Praise
.
AMEN.
.
Happy Satuday my loves.. covered in love and hugs, and wrapped in prayers, requested or felt to..❤️
Amen.
Have a beautiful Saturday dear sister ❤️
Amen!
He is “Worthy of it All!” Great song for this morning!
or her other one “That’s our King!”
Thank you for your conviction this morning dear Tina! Hugs across the pond to you!
Ah, Tina, so good! ❤️
And the lyrics to What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Joseph M. Scriven, 1855, as timeless as Christ’s love for us.
.
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
.
Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
.
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised
Thou wilt all our burdens bear;
May we ever, Lord, be bringing
All to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright, unclouded,
There will be no need for prayer—
Rapture, praise, and endless worship
Will be our sweet portion there.
Beautiful reflection, sister! Hugs from a cloudy, soon to be stormy upstate SC! ❤
Love this Tina ❤️ and the song lyrics What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Searching, and all your comments.❤️
Blessings to you all.❤️
