Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
“This is my servant; I strengthen him,
this is my chosen one; I delight in him.
I have put my Spirit on him;
he will bring justice to the nations.”

KLOVE is having a “fall back” weekend. I have DC Talk’s “In the Light” running through my head! There have been so many songs talking about the light and letting the Spirit do His work in us. And as I think about creation and the Word… how can people not believe in our God. So many random thoughts today.
❤
Beautiful comments today! Praying for all!
Happy Saturday sweeties! Wow Rhonda…..during the night when I woke up I was thinking about what you said at the end of your comment for the unsaved. As most of you know I work at a public school, so you can imagine. I have met families that don’t know JESUS and if they do, they don’t hold up the the values our Jesus has instilled in us, either way, I LOVE on their children and in return they love the teacher and I. I’m blessed that my teacher is also a believer and in her young life she totally reflects the love of JESUS, wish I was as patient, however we balance on another (I’m thinking because I’m old enough to be her mom) and we have mutual respect! We love and care for our little munchkins! Most mornings I try to pray over each cubbie that has their name on it and if not, I pray over our class. I am honored to be in this class!
I love that you pray over their cubbies in addition to loving on them all day! It is so important our intercession for unbelievers! And it will click one day, the love shown to them by their teachers. I think the younger years are the times they just adore their teachers! My son loved them all, but his 3rd grade teacher, Mr J- he really loved. We saw him at the local coffee shop years later when Michael was in 12th grade.
I’m glad your teacher is a believer and can also be “that KIND of good!”
When I couldn’t help my grandson in any way…I prayed for good teachers to show him love and encouragement that he didn’t get at home, and faithfully God gave him just that!! Maybe pray for God to reveal any that might not receive praise at home.
I read this in a devotional this morning and thought it might encourage you all on this Grace Day.
But being transformed by the
renewing of your mind all starts
with getting still, getting quiet, and
letting God’s word sit with you
long enough to impact your heart,
mind, and soul.
When we renew our minds, we
renew our lives. When we renew
our lives, we renew our
relationship with Christ. When we
renew our relationship with Christ
– we magnify Him.
❤
Thank you for sharing. It is a great reminder to allow ourselves time to stop and just let God work in our lives
❤️
In the year 2021 Tanner only had 12 days left on this earth. 11/13/2021 will forever be etched in my mind. I sit this morning in prayer with tears gently falling. Again I want to thank all of you wonderful women for carrying me through that very difficult time. Your prayers helped carry me through. Thank you
We LOVE you Traci! YOU, (WE) are family!
Hugs, love and prayers Traci!
Traci, we will continue to be here for you! We love you, sis, and how you have encouraged others through your pain. ❤
Father, continue, please, to strengthen Traci as she counts down the days to this sorrowful anniversary. Let her feel Your loving, comforting Presence in a mighty way and may the memory of Tanner’s sweet smile bring a smile to her heart. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Amen.
I do remember the days leading up to it through your posts, and it was heartbreaking. God was preparing you, and we saw it. Your love and devotion was beautiful. Sometimes it is good to know just so you don’t take it for granted, that time is precious and relationships, and the things that are important. I think back on the months before my mom passed, and wish I would have been more present. Giving her more respect, love, and relationship. Any loss is hard, but none harder than losing a child it would seem. I am sending prayers for strength and peace, and comfort.
Traci, thinking and praying for you this morning. May you feel God’s presence and peace during this season.
May extra measures of God’s loving presence, love and comfort surround you, Tracy.♡
From Warren Wiersbe NKJV Study Bible on Isaiah 42:1-
“God will accomplish His great plan of salvation for this world through the ministry of the Servant.
God chose him, God upheld him, and God enabled him to succeed in his mission.
Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, one day will come a glorious kingdom on earth, and God will ‘bring justice to the Gentiles.'”
.
Biblegateway verse of the day- Ephesians 1:18 NLT:
“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called— his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.”
.
Jesus came and died for ‘the nations’ but I have to remember and be thankful that He came and died for ‘me’! This song by Ben Fuller speaks to that personal worship:
Ben Fuller – I’ll Sing For You (Lyric Video)
Partial lyrics:
“If nothing else I’ll sing
To an empty room
More than anything
I just want You
Set the roof on fire
Let my love break through
If nothing else I’ll sing
I’ll sing for You
I’ll sing for You
You have my hallelujah
Always my hallelujah
You have my hallelujah”
.
Love, hugs, and prayers! ❤
Amen

Our faithfulness is to reveal God’s Glory! He has given us His Spirit to do his work, that would otherwise be too hard on our own. Salvation is first, then, the work begins. Developing our faith, studying the scriptures and meditating, praying and praising. The Spirit is a must to walk it out in practice. To guide us, comfort us, convict us, deliver us from oppressive spirits, and to give us discernment to name some. It is called sanctification, always learning and growing in Christ.
You, and I, and anyone saved can do great things for the Lord. We can be champions! We have resurrection POWER! We are chosen and disciples for a good work, sharing the light, being the light, and shining the light. Isaiah prophesies the coming of One, centuries before it happened. Jesus came, and will come again, but until then, much work to do. The fields are ripe for harvest! Seeds to plant, seeing to them that they grow with love, light, and water.
The chosen have an enemy though, ready right there, all the time, to make us fail. Others too, will put us down and persecute us. But the Spirit is in us to bring us success for his Glory. We will go through many things, but he will deliver us so we can deliver others. Studying John has helped us to see all of this. The love of Jesus for us and others. And we have the same power he had, given to us to do for his Glory, in His name!
Lord, let every joy and celebration give you glory. Let every sadness and valley give you glory. Let my life reveal You, Jesus, through my interactions and serving. To my unsaved loved ones, let my life be a testimony. We honor you and serve you, the one true God, in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. May we rest in this knowing, this wkd.
Bless you She’s.
Amen, Rhonda. ❤️
Amen. Beautifully said Rhonda.
Wonderful and encouraging message, Rhonda! Reminds me of Same Power by Jeremy Camp. ☺❤
So beautiful Rhonda. Thank you for sharing your heart every day! ❤️. Praying for our unsaved loved ones that don’t choose to know the Lord or strayed away. I am praying God will equip me with courage and also praying that I keep my heart right and be a delight and let God do the work in other hearts of my family and friends in his timing.
Amen ❤️
Longing for the Lord’s justice to be manifested in the earth. My I have eyes to see where I am the conduit for it.
.
May we take time to reflect on the saints who have gone before us on this day. May their examples of faithfulness inspire us to persevere.
♥️

Amen, Kelly! ❤
Jesus, the Servant of the Lord. He is everything that God has promised. In faithfulness He will bring forth justice — in Him we put our hope. Amen.

The song How Good It Is by Chris Tomlin has literally been playing in my head for this entire week. It’s on “repeat” and I can’t seem to shut it off! I share it with you and now, we can sing it together! (haha)…
.
How good, how good, how good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
Enter His gates with thanks
Enter His courts with praise
Bring Him a shout of joy
Sing of His endless faith
For the Lord is good and His love endures
His love endures forever
We remember this
We remember this
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise to the Lord
Oh, how great is the name above all names
From the rising of the morning sun
To the setting of the same
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise
How good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
Rivers will clap their hands
Mountains will lift their song
Even the rocks cry out
Creation stands in awe
Of the One who was and the One who is
And the One who reigns forever
We remember this
We remember this
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise to the Lord
Oh, how great is the name above all names
From the rising of the morning sun
To the setting of the same
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise
How good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise to the Lord
Oh, how great is the name above all names
From the rising of the morning sun
To the setting of the same
And with every breath inside our lungs
Forever we will sing
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise
Oh, how good that it is to sing praise
How good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
Oh-oh-oh
How good, how good, how good it is
—
No matter what our circumstances – How good it is to sing praise to the Lord.
—
Happy Saturday She’s.
I’ve got it playing now! :)
Listening and loving it!
Fun song to have stuck in your head! The rivers clap their hands (Psalm 98:8) reminded me of one of my favorite verses, Isaiah 55:12:
“You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!” NLT
.
Thanks for sharing! New song to me. ☺❤
OH I LOVE Isaiah 55:12, I don’t remember it!! Oh when nature will sing in song….can’t wait!!
And yes- Jeremy Camp—Same Power always has to remind me…We HAVE IT! Hard to fathom. Especially when my body feels like a spaghetti noodle or what I say most days- that I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck! (oh but it COULD be worse…!)
I am the LORD; that is my name;
my glory I give to no other,
nor my praise to carved idols.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
and new things I now declare;
before they spring forth
I tell you of them.”
Sing to the LORD a new song,
his praise from the end of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it,
the coastlands and their inhabitants.
— Isaiah 42:8-10
Let them give glory to the LORD,
and declare his praise in the coastlands.
The LORD goes out like a mighty man,
like a man of war he stirs up his zeal;
he cries out, he shouts aloud,
he shows himself mighty against his foes.
— Isaiah 42:12-13
❤
I encourage you to read through v 10 at least. Our God, the LORD, the creator of every single thing (including us), Who can do anything and everything (from the ordinary to miracles beyond our comprehension) – this same God loves us, let’s praise Him today in our words and interactions with others, especially those who may not know Him, yet – may today be the day.
.
42:1 “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.
4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”
5 Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it:
6 “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
8 I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
10 Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, You coastlands and you inhabitants of them!
.
For reasons I’m not understanding, more oldies are popping up in my mind ‘randomly’ during the day …
I Want To Know More About My Lord, written by Lee Roy Abernathy
.
1. While trav’ling through this world of sorrow,
I’m on my way to glory land,
I’ll not turn back, for some tomorrow,
My trials here I’ll understand.
.
2. I’m glad I know the blessed Savior,
For through His blood He set me free,
Though rough the road, I shall not waver,
For some glad day His face I’ll see.
.
3. He promised when His soul ascended,
I’m coming back, the Lord did say,
If on His promises you’ve depended,
On wings of love you’ll soar away.
.
Chorus:
I want to know more about my Jesus,
I want to know more about my Lord,
I want to know more about that mansion,
I’m gonna receive as my reward,
I want to know more about that homeland,
I mean to go there, someday somehow,
And after I reach that heavenly city,
I mean to know more than I know now.
Forgot to say, this song is #6 in the Red-back Hymnal. Some of y’all will know what that is :)
❤️
❤️
I know someone who has that hymnal (pretty sure anyway!). If so, we may be singing it in ohr life group! I have to find and listen first. ❤
