Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
This week we will continue memorizing John’s prologue. In John 1:3, John emphasizes Jesus’s divine nature by pointing to His active role in creation.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it.
—John 1:1–5

What a verse!! right? It just doesn’t get more impactful than this intro! It’s almost like- drop the mic right there! But oh John is just full of head scratching, jaw-dropping, honey dripping goodness!
And then, Charity Gayle is singing “I Speak Jesus” throughout my room this morning!
Have a beautiful Sunday.
Genesis 1:27
So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
.
Psalm 89:11
The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; everything in the world is yours—you created it all.
.
Psalm 139:13-14
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
.
Psalm 148:5
Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being.
.
Praise Him today, sisters. Love, hugs, and prayers. ❤
Psalm 139:1-6, 13-16
“1 Lord, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know when I sit down and when I stand up;
You understand my thoughts from far away.
3 You observe my travels and my rest;
You are aware of all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue,
You know all about it, Lord.
5 You have encircled me;
You have placed Your hand on me.
6 This extraordinary knowledge is beyond me.
It is lofty; I am unable to reach it.
13 For it was You who created my inward parts;
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You
because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful,
and I know this very well.
15 My bones were not hidden from You
when I was made in secret,
when I was formed in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw me when I was formless;
all my days were written in Your book and planned
before a single one of them began.”
.
Thank You, Jesus for Your hand in creating all I see and don’t see.

Thank you, Ladies for the updates on your prayer requests yesterday. Grateful for the man ways God has moved in your lives and the miracles you have seen. To God be all the glory, honor and praise. ✨️✨️✨️
We thought of the same Psalm today. ☺
.
Thankful for the updates, too. ✨✨✨
Hoping for more praise reports. Thanks again for faithfully staying on that! Searching and others who do it, too! ❤
Everything was created through him; nothing—not one thing!— came into being without him. What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out.
.
I had to go to the Message for a version that I could understand..
.
I love this …that I was created through Him, that my ‘people’, every single one was created through Him, that the people I meet each day, good or ‘bad’, they were created through Him!
We came into being WITH Him!
That is a revelation, don’t you think?
.
He came through with us!!!!
.
We did not come into this world alone, we were accompanied… I remember as a child I was an unaccompanied minor when I travelled by plane to visit my dad..
.
BUT GOD..
.
He was with me when I entered this world. He was with me when I travelled unaccompanied as a child, He was with me and continues to be with me through the thick and thin of life.
He is the LIGHT of my life, the LIGHT in my darkness, and no matter how dark the darkness may get.. He is the LIGHT in that darkness..forever shining bright, because as i understand it now, as I never have, the Word.. my Jesus has always been with me, from the beginning.. and He still is today and tomorrow, and the day after that.. always my LIGHT, always my LIFE, always WITH me..
.
Amen..

Happy, Happy Sunday my dears..
Much love, as always, covered in sunny hugs and love..❤️
So true,Tina! Thank you for sharing that! I remember a friend (my Sunday School teacher at the time) many years ago telling us that as her daughter was headed into surgery, she told her daughter that she couldn’t go into the OR with her, but Jesus would be in there with her. A short time later as I was beginning labor with our first child, I clung to that truth and it gave me great comfort. We just never know how one little comment can have a powerful effect down the line.
.
Love to you, sweet sister! ❤
