Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
To conclude this reading plan, we will commit to memory a reminder of the importance of keeping wisdom close to our hearts.
Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you.
Tie them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
—Proverbs 3:3

So to clarify did we read all of proverbs?
♥️
LOVED going through Proverbs with all you sweet She’s! Hiding God’s word in my heart so when “me” comes out, I will “recall” “REMEMBER” His word and let go of my selfish thoughts and desires and allow God to work through me. Yesterday after my coffee date with my friend G, and talking it over with her. I made the decision to plant myself at the church where my kids attend. This way we will go as a “family” I actually LOVE this church and the pastors have been so kind and accepting of me and I believe I may have mentioned I had a meeting with them a couple of months ago regarding a major decision, and the backed me up and prayed for me. Had more to say, but my I promised pancakes for my family before church and I’m so excited about the pot-lock at the park with them. Happy Sunday!
That sounds so sweet, Mari, and like answered prayer! ❤
Holding on to that promise as my husband is doing a very painful corn and egg allergy from his body. We thought we had eliminated these from his diet;then realized there were hidden ingredients we didn’t know about. This may take a few weeks…please pray God will providentally heal him sooner
Oh, Sandi, I am so sorry! Prayers for accurate diagnosis or healing soon! ❤
Oh;its corn allergies. He’s had it for 30 yrs, diagnosed about 20 yrs ago. I know he will be healed all in God’s timing… it’s just a matter of me yielding the reins.
❤
“When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person.”
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (Amplified Bible)

Longing for the place and time where this will be our reality… Until then, keep us close to You, Lord.

Long time no see/comment… I have been catching up for the last months but I am finally back on track. Grateful for this study and your faithful contributions♥️
Great to see your name again! Hope you have been well. ♥️
Glad to have you back, Julia! I have missed your comments! ❤
Loyalty to Jesus Christ alone, and faithfulness in all that He’s called us to do. May these never leave my heart.

It’s been a great study – so many needful reminders! Hope to see you all (plus those who we missed this study) at the next one!

Have a pot of tea for me
Have an amazing time! If you get to the West Country, my husband is from Somerset. It’s so beautiful. But all the English countryside is. Enjoy!
Praying for safe travels, no unexpected layovers, good weather, and lots of happy moments! ❤
❤️✝️ Amen
Great study, sisters and SRT.
.
LAUREN M – praying for your appointment, and pray that your heart not be hardened toward God as you seek to trust in His plan for you. Many times I have to remind myself that He is working things for my good, even when I can’t see even a smidgen of it now.
KELLY (NEO) praying young mama will be able (and willing) to pull herself together, tie up loose ends and go to work. You have gone to great lengths to guide and help her, far beyond most would have done, and have stood by her through so many obstacles, bless you, sister ❤️
Amen! I would have said the same to Kelky, but you said it better than I would have! ❤
What a great verse to summerize and wrap up this study. Thank you SRT team for another study that was cause for pause, introspection, challenge and spuring us on.
Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you.
Tie them around your neck;
Loyalty and faithfulness are words that describe good character. If something is tied on my neck and written on my heart, it is not going anywhere. It is deeply connected and becomes a part of who I am, my identity and the rythym of my life.
Lord, may this verse be true and may it be so in my life. May my loyalty and faithfulness to you be steadfast, the truth of who you are and how I represent you, clearly visible in my life and pour out of my heart because you are etched there. Thank you for your Word that leads and guides us with wisdom, truth, hope. Be magnified in my life Lord. Amen
Sunday Blessings SRT sisters. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you❤️
Amen to your prayer, Wendy ♥️
❤️
“It is deeply connected and becomes a part of who I am, my identity and the rythym of my life.” Love that! ❤

This verse right here took me back to a moment that has stuck with me over the years..
I have got goosebumps as I recall it!
.
I was blessed that day to pray for the pastors wife at my church. I prayed a while, thanking God for who she was and the blessing she was to the parishioners, for her words that often touch hearts and cause us to take heed and action for Father God.
As I prayed I felt a stirring to tell her that GOD sees her, and that He sees her sewing His Word on her heart.. ( i could see her literally sewing the bible on her heart)..
I have tears now, such an awesome picture.. ohh, that i might be that person, one day. That God would see me that way!
.
LORD, as i write i pray there may be a heart shift, a transformation of mind and a soul acknowledging that my faithfulness and loyalty is and should only be for you, and can only be found in you.
Thank you Lord God for your love and the hope found in you..
.
BUT GOD..
.
Amen.
.

The Message renders this verse:
“Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.
Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.” ❤️
.
The New English Translation’s footnoote:” The two words (khesed ve’emet, “mercy and truth”) form a nominal hendiadys, the second word becoming an adjective: ‘faithful covenant love’ or ‘loyal [covenant] love and faithfulness.’ This involves two implied comparisons. One is a comparison of living out the duties and responsibilities taught with binding a chain around the neck, and the other is a comparison of the inward appropriation of the teachings with writing them on a tablet. So the teachings are not only to become the lifestyle of the disciple but his very nature.”
.
May loyalty and faithfulness to Lord show in my words and actionsbecause You have transformed my hear so they are my nature.
.
SHARON JERSEY GIRL – safe travels and hope you have a great time.
.
WENDY B – praing God for the mercies He showed you in your travels back home.
.
MERCY – May the Lord bless you and give you wisdom as you meet with Tracy and her children.
.
MARGARET W. – so sorry you have had to trade on pain for another. May the Lord strengthen you over the next few days. May your daughter have ears to hear and a heart to reveive should the Lord prompt you to talk about Jesus.
.
LAUREN M – praying you can rest in Jesus, knowing that He is with you and will strengthen you no matter the trial.
.
CEE GEE – thanks for asking about my young mama and her baby boy. She has not started working (so many layers of issues). I’m concerned that she is losing motivation to persevere and succumb to the welfare trap. Continued prayers for wisdom and strength for her would be appreciated.
.
As you gather with your church family today Shes, may you be strengthened to be bold and courageous to speak God’s truth and grace to those in your world this week.
❤️
Amen, sister!
♥️
“Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.” Love the “carve initials on your heart”!

Thank you for your prayers – we leave tonight!
Great notes, Kelly; thanks!
.
❤ Praying that young mama will not succumb to the welfare option! I will be praying for wisdom, strength, and confidence to move forward and not give up! Thank you for updating that need! ❤
Warren Wiersbe notes:
“By receiving the Word within our hearts, we experience growth in godly character,
so that loyalty and kindness become beautiful ornaments in our lives (Prov. 1:9; 3:3).
It isn’t enough for believers to carry the Bible in their hands; they must let the Holy Spirit write God’s Word on their hearts (3:3; 7:3; 2 Cor. 3:1–3).
Obedience to the Word can add years to our lives and life to our years.”
.
As the VBS Pledge to the Bible says:
I will make it a lamp unto my feet,
a light unto my path, and
will hide its words in my heart so that I might not sin against God.
.
THANK YOU AGAIN to the SHE/HE READS TRUTH STAFF for this soul probing and eye-opening study of Proverbs! Well done, team! God bless you all!
.
Love, hugs, and prayers! ❤
Have a blessed day at your house of worship, sisters! ❤
Love that, “It’s not enough to carry the Bible in your hands” and I would add, it’s not enough just to attend church on Sundays- we must develop a relationship with the Lord by being in the word daily. The whole of the story matters from start to finish! Then living it out!!
Have a great Sunday She’s!
❤ Amen!
❤️
I can hear the tune we sang the pledge to :) ❤️
Tune?!! ❤❤❤
I will have to look that up. We just always recited it.
Amen, Cee Gee ♥️
