Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
Throughout this reading plan, we’ve been memorizing our key verse, Romans 15:4. Grab a sheet of paper, and write out the verse from memory. And feel free to look back at the verse if you need a refresher.
For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures.
—Romans 15:4

Phooey – posted on wrong day again :/
Based on today’s verses, what are the goals of growing in wisdom?
5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
.
Isaiah 30:21
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.

Based on Proverbs 9, what are some of the key markers of wisdom?
10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
.
Discernment in sifting godly correction/instruction from sneaky imitations meant to eventually draw you away from God, rather than strengthening your understanding of Him and closeness to Him.

What do you hope God will do in you through this month of studying His wisdom?
.
Teach me to be more aware of deceit and misdirection, and to more readily seek His word …. Just a closer walk with Thee…let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

INDIANA ELAINE – great question!
MARI V – restful nights and guidance as you visit churches
RHONDA J smiling as I read your words from yesterday, “A God who has given us instruction to walk with him and to persevere. We have him and the word to guide us and to be written on our heart, that otherwise leads us astray.” And here we are today, delving into the wisdom and guidance of Proverbs.

Of course, meeting God and Jesus will be the absolute best… but Paul and Peter, and… ✝️
As a church, we are working through Philippians. Today was 1: 19-26. Thoughtful question for today: Do people love Jesus more by being around you?
Oooooo… that’s good!!! ❤️❤️

Happy Sunday sweet She’s!! This morning I went back to yesterdays comments, THANK YOU Sandi, Indiana Elaine and Adrienne for you comments about sleep deprivation as I not alone and we can pray for one another. Although yesterday I slept 7 1/2 hours and it felt grate! Last night… not quite 7 hours, but feeling great! Okay back to SRT…this morning I walk with “….hope through endurance and through the ENCOURAGEMENT from the Scriptures.” AND all of you sweeties!! ONE more thing…I’m visiting a new church this morning. I know several people that go there so it will be nice to see friends I haven’t seen for a while. Next week I’ll visit another one also one that friends attend. I’m still thinking of planting myself where my kids attend, and they want me to as well. AND I’ve already met friends there including the pastors.
Glad you slept better. Keeping you in prayer as you find a church ⛪️
I have loved this plan! Every story, every insight just helps us draw closer to God!
Praying for all!
A side note-we just went to Sight and Sound Theater to see “David.” If you get an opportunity, it is a beautiful story with such a deep worship of God through David singing through the Psalms as they tell his story. It glorifies God throughout!

GM She’s!
I really loved this study and also the People of the OT! I think all of us can relate to other people’s stories. Sometimes we get lost when Paul is in his writings and run on sentences, but someone’s story grabs us and relates to what we experience. That’s why sharing OUR stories with non-believers is so good! It encourages other believers as well, and gives hope to anyone experiencing what you have already walked through. That’s why they are called testimonies! And the bible is full of them!
Christianity is not a walk in the park, (as it is sold), but it is encouragement and hope in the hard. A God who has given us instruction to walk with him and to persevere. We have him and the word to guide us and to be written on our heart, that otherwise leads us astray. I can’t even fathom how the Word rolls off my tongue these days!
Have a wonderful Sunday! I am praying one of our butterfly’s comes to church with me this morning! She is so sweet, and much like a niece to me. I was able to spend some time with her yesterday, and she gave me some good insight as to our lessons and such! I don’t know if I told ya’ll but our leader of Jail ministry is stepping down and put me in her place! I still can believe what God is doing with me! Reminds me of Luke 16:10
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.”
I hope I will keep doing well and looking to him and giving him all the Glory in all my responsibilities!! Thank you for always keeping me in your prayers my dear She’s!
Praying for you and congratulations!
That’s fantastic Rhonda! And you will be great. Will keep you in our prayers.

Have a wonderful Sunday, sisters! Lost my whole comment when I copied it (or tried to) from my notes to paste it here.
Praying for needs, congrats WENDY B, remember to read God’s word – it’s written just for us ❤️
I’m mad at your device for stealing your comment from us! (Sad face)

Continued prayers as requested. ❤❤❤
Amen. Thank you Lord for the treasure of your Word that good, right and true; that is hope, help and healing and points us to the faithfulness, saving grace and forgiveness and a life of walking with Jesus.
We praise the Lord and are thrilled beyond words to share that our daughter & her husband have welcomed a precious baby boy, our first grandchild. Mom & baby are doing well. Thank you Lord. Once they settle, in the next few days we will determine a plan of going to visit and tomorrow we will investigate travel insurance options. Please pray that those details will be quickly taken care of, that I would not be denied coverage and costs would be reasonable and fall within our means. Thank you.
Sunday Blessings, SRT sisters.
Congratulations, Wendy! So exciting! I am praying that all the details will fall into place for you to get there to hold that precious gift from God! ❤️
CONGRATULATIONS, WRNDY, and praise God for the safe delivery!!! Praying in agreement with you for everything to work out for your travel! ❤
Congratulations Wendy!! They are precious bundles of goodness! I pray God will make a way for you to get there!!
So happy for your family Wendy and praying for your travel plans and meeting your precious grandson.

Thanks SRT team for another wonderful study.

So many others who are mentioned in the NT that are mysteries to us now, but God knows and one day we will meet them and hear their stories/testimonies.
.
As Paul prayed for the Thessalonians so I pray for you, “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful”(1 Thess. 5:23-24).
.
May your gatherings with your church families be sweet and enriching today.
Good point! New Testament- Part 2 in the future?
Thank you for the prayers, Kelly; reversing them to you! ❤
