Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and is patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.
—James 5:7–8

Yes Lord. Help me to be ready. Forgive me Father for complacency and the nagging sinful ways that have a hold on me. I pray that there would be a greater urgency to seek you, to be diligent in cultivating my heart so its fertile soil for you to grow and flourish in my life and pull out the weeds. I want to abide in you and above all, strengthen my heart to walk in fellowship, to stand firm and live out a growing faithfulness to you. Help me to be ready Lord. Amen
“Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.” Yes! He could come today, people get ready – Jesus is coming! …
I love looking to the sky, seeing the clouds and wondering if Jesus will step through them. One day. Maybe soon.

Happy Saturday She’s!
The Lord’s coming is near. “Perhaps today!” is what I often heard a pastor (on-the-radio) say. Though many of us, I’m sure, hoped it would happen soon, I remember a couple of months back many of us mentioning as it was in a devo, about Jesus waiting as we know He wishes NO ONE to perish without HIM! So we wait… and pray for our loved ones to come to their decision to follow Jesus! THIS week has definitely been one of being “strengthen” by my JESUS! Taking a deep breaths … Thank you all who are praying. As mentioned more change (Major) is coming and an another court date in place. BUT GOD….. sigh… HE gives me strength to do what I have to do… Happy Saturday sweet She’s looking forward to my walk with my sweet and later Farmer’s Market with my other sweet friend. Friends, Sweeties, Beautiful She’s… YOU all have been such a HUGE part of my life I can’t wait to meet you ALL someday!
Well, this is timely! I was on YouTube last night listening to music and saw a new song by Mercy Me posted early yesterday:
MercyMe –
Sing (Like You’ve Already Won)[Official Lyric Video]
Lyrics:
Somewhere out there hanging by a thread
All of your strength is gone
Strength to keep holding on
And don’t buy those lies that are in your head
That say you should just give up
That you’ll never be enough
Remember you’re a child of the King
Sing, sing like you’ve already won
Be grateful for all He has done
As long as there’s air in your lungs, sing
You’re so much stronger than you think
The Spirit that brought Christ back to life
Is the same one you have inside
So next time there’s a wall standing in your way
Sing along with that new song in your soul
And watch them fall like Jericho
Sing, sing like you’ve already won
Be grateful for all He has done
As long as there’s air in your lungs, sing
Sing, sing like you finally believe
Your name has been changed to redeemed
So with every breath that you breathe, sing
Don’t give up, don’t give in
Go on and raise your voice
Don’t give up, don’t give in
Make a joyful noise
Sing, sing like you’ve already won
Be grateful for all He has done
As long as there’s air in your lungs
Sing, sing like you finally believe
Your name has been changed to redeemed
So with every breath that you breathe
Sing, sing, sing
Like you already won
Sing like you’ve already won
So with every breath that you breathe
Sing, sing, sing
.
Interesting that our SS lesson is on Psalm 96 and the first word is SING!!!!!I love how God does these things!
Have a great Saturday, sisters, and sing, sing, sing! ❤❤❤
A song in your heart ❤️
Thanks for sharing Cee Gee and for praying for my Dad. Happy Saturday!
Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.
That spoke to me! I recently have started to strength train a little at the gym. I really like spin class however I needed to level up or rather get out of my comfort zone. We can lift up the word of God in our lives. We can live praying lives where we are in constant communion with God and not just say grace over our food, pray when we wake up and before we go to bed or when some crisis blows our way. Someone said, “Prayer should be as natural as breathing.” I don’t remember who said that.
I would like for you to continue to believe God for a Godly mate. I meet a lot of good looking intelligent guys but they are not into relationships with women.I recently started going to a new church that is very Bible based,Christ centered, and prayer focused.I not open to the internet or dating apps. Although I know people who had a lot of success with it. I do want a God loving, God fearing,Jesus loving person.
Thank.you for your prayers!
Yes, to what you said about prayer!
1 Thessalonians 5:17
New Living Translation
17 Never stop praying.

Tanya, I understand your situation. Our 35 year old son feels the same. I keep reminding him that ‘it could happen in a moment’ (another old song!) when he least expects it! I give you the same encouragement. God bless you, lil’ sis!
Lord, I stand in fields unbroken,
Seeds of faith in silence sown,
Clouds roll in with words unspoken—
Still, You call this ground Your own.
–
Teach my heart the farmer’s quiet,
Not to rush the rains to fall,
But to rest in sacred silence,
Trusting You are Lord of all.
–
Let my soul be firm, unshaken,
Though the winds of doubt may blow,
You have never once forsaken—
In the stillness, You still grow.
–
I will wait, though answers tarry,
Not in fear, but patient grace.
Hope is not a load to carry—
It’s a gaze fixed on Your face.
–
So I lift my hands, surrender,
Not to loss, but love and light.
For the wait becomes the wonder,
When I walk by faith, not sight.
Amen
Kimberly, that is one of the most beautiful things I have ever read!!!
I love this:
“Hope is not a load to carry—
It’s a gaze fixed on Your face.”
.

Good morning, precious sisters! Two weeks back at work at my old job (full time) are under my belt. I’m a bit sleep deprived
but am loving it and feeling very blessed to be back. It helps me not to be home all day since being at home is really lonely without Jack. I’m still here every morning (very early) and praying for all your needs. I try to check in for comments during the day and go back to check the previous day. You are all loved and prayed for! ❤️
Mari V—praying for you as you go to court Monday. God is in control! ❤️
So happy for you Lynne. I’m a widow, and my job and other activities are very important to me. Glad you have this opportunity.
So good to hear you are enjoying being back at work! Grab some extra zzzzzs this weekend if you can! ☺❤
❤️
Still praying for you sweet friend. So proud of you for going back to work. My heart goes out to you❤️

GM!
Oh, how we can’t wait for the Lord to come yet we know there are many people/friends and family that are not saved. And I am so glad that Jesus did come, say, 30 years ago…because I certainly wouldn’t have been waiting with my oil lamp lit.
I’m excited and a little nervous for the first group meeting today that I will lead. Hard to believe that it was 2 years ago that I stepped into leading my first group and we ended up making it ongoing. But now we take the scheduled breaks in-between and open it to new people each time. This is the first time I am not using a guided study book. God laid on my heart to make it about prayer. The struggle we have particularly with praying out loud for people or a group. It was such a challenge of mine 4 years ago, and I still am not the first to volunteer. But I have grown so much, and more so love to pray for others when I feel the nudge. I don’t question it or back away…I go for it, with God! He is the one that has something for them after all, and if I have a heart to love people, then I want to give them encouragement and let them know I see them, and GOD sees them.
Thank you for your prayers!
Praying for you as you lead today! You’ve got this! ❤️
For such a time as this! G-d is with you.
Praying for each of you at group to feel sisterhood and be blessed. Praying for you as you lead as guided by the Holy Spirit. Like Lynne said, “You’ve got this!” Looking forward to report tomorrow! ❤
Praying your prayer group will go really well today and they will come to know they are His precious daughters.
❤️
Amen
