Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
I say, then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh.
—Galatians 5:16

♥️
@CEE GEE: praying for the spider bite to heal and no poison, safety and smooth renovation for your husband and son.
@RHONDA: praying for healing for your body, glad the AC guy came.
@MICHELLE PATIRE: great post yesterday. Thank you for putting our pain on the scale of His suffering. Pain can give us victim mentality real quick and tunnel vision instead of eternal vision. I needed that reminder.
@KELLY (NEO): praise God you arrived safely and still able to check in daily.
@SEARCHING: missing you in past few days dear. Hope all is well. Praying for you and your family!
@VICTORIA E: thinking of you and your job issue that caused you fear. May that anxiety and fear subside by God’s presence. The Lord will not leave you alone. He will come to help you.” I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come to you.” John 14:18.
I am praying for teachers and students who are returning to school. May God give you strength, excitement, and help in any areas you might need. Praying for you Mari V to start smoothly with lots of new wonderful memories.
Praying over you dear she’s and your families, over your health, your mind, your spiritual walk, your faith development, your faithfulness toward our God and His calling in each of our lives. May our first love and the fire for God be refreshed and ignited! May all be fulfilled through us by His grace according to his plans, so His Name is greatly glorified.
Be blessed dear sisters.
Thanks so much MARI V and anyone else who prayed for my 2 requests today. The guys got the insulation down and lots of the clean up done with no mishaps. And so far no issues from the spider bite! PTL Love you all!
CeeGee, praying the spider bite isn’t serious.
Walking by the Spirit helps us to let go and let God✨
“……and you will certainly not carry out the desires of the flesh.” HAPPY SATURDAY sweet She’s. On today’s Grace day I especially like this last part in Galatians 5:16. I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to act out on my flesh. Thank God for the Holy Spirit, who gives me a nudge or even whispers in my ear to stay silent. I wish I could say I listen every single time. But when I do, my God, my Jesus, takes care of it much better than I would. In the end, He he is glorified. AFTER almost 13 years (next month), MONDAY, is my last day as a kids care aide at my workplace. TUESDAY, I start my new position as a paraprofessional for kindergartners. Kindergarten is my favorite! This verse couldn’t be more fitting this morning as yesterday, one of my coworkers whom we’ve been working together for 12 years, another coworker, who recently joined a department but has been at her school for about the same amount of time I have, and the young man, a young Christian man who graduated from our school, and joined our team about two years, all three came up to me I said they’re going to miss me. God is good! God gets all the glory! It’s not me at all, it’s all Jesus.
PRAYER REQUEST FOR ME this time. I got a spider bite about 30 minutes ago and haven’t identified the type. For sure it’s not a Black Widow and I am pretty sure it isn’t a Brown Recluse, but praying for no serious reaction. Thanks sisters!!!❤
Help me to walk by the Spirit so that I will bring glory and honor to you Lord!
Praying for a good weekend for each of you especially those getting ready for the new school year and for your retreat, DONNA WOLCOTT! Continued prayers for renewed health, strength, and hope where needed.
Please pray there are no injuries or mishaps as my husband and son remove old insulation in our basement today. Thank you in advance!
Good morning she’s!
Happy Saturday! I was up and em early this morning with a knock on the door from the A/C guys coming to replace! Nothing like that to get you startled awake! I have our group today..it is already our last chapter in the book! Today is on Peace and what steals our Peace- like anxiety, stress, and the ever-spinning hamster wheel we seem to get stuck in!
But God…Rich in mercy, Who came to save us, now I’m alive! Amen (That’s a song!) I am so glad I know Jesus! We have been selected, by God, to bring something out of us! To use us for the good of his kingdom. So we don’t need to be anxious about what comes our way, it may not be something we want or what choose, but if we hold tight to God, keep our eyes on him (so we don’t sink like Peter…or once we feel like we our sinking…REMEMBER to look up again!!) repeat..repeat..repeat until it becomes second nature so to speak. The more we our led by the Holy Spirit we can accomplish God’s plan for us! Cast those cares on the Lord, and he CAN and WILL sustain you!! He will not let the righteous be shaken!! (Psalms 55:22 in my words!) Also, REMEMBER the Lord God Brought the Lord out of Israel and through the desert..we just have to keep moving forward! There are SO many example of trusting God through ALL things in the glorious book-The B-I-B-L-E!! We have the manual! Don’t turn to anything else!! (I’m lecturing myself as well! But, from being in the word with SRT for 10 years it is amazing how scripture is always right there!!! Put the word in your heart and mind…yes!!
Aw man. I made a post but it hasn’t been posted yet. Probably too long. Just wanted to say I am praying for you all! Grateful our prayer requests are at work @Theresa!!
Happy Saturday everyone! Is SRT not making the sharable scripture photos anymore for the daily readings? I only saw them at the beginning of this plan and then they stopped.
Amen
When we walk by the Spirit, we allow the Spirit to guide and correct us so that we don’t act on our worst impulses. He will set up guardrails to protect us and keep us on course.
LEHUA I am continuing to pray for the health of you and your husband, your ankle, and your challenging work situation.
SARAH D- I am praying for you this morning. How are things going at the new job?
I have really felt your prayers for me and my home these past few days. It’s amazing how things have turned around and are so much more peaceful here and I feel able to balance my work responsibilities and having the kids under foot. God used this as an opportunity to remind me to bring my prayer requests to others to pray on my behalf. Often I don’t want to share specific things because I feel like they are insignificant or I should be able to handle them on my own. But God gave us community for the big and small issues! Thank you, ladies, for being part of my faith community!
Walking by the Spirit helps us know when the desires of the flesh are pulling on us. It does not mean we will not have the desires.
Amen
