Text: Romans 6:5
Memorizing Scripture is one way we can carry the Word of God with us wherever we go—to have God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof in our hearts and minds as we live unto Him each day.
This week, let’s memorize Romans 6:5 together:
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
-Romans 6:5
Write this verse down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.
We want to be a community that is intentional about scripture memorization. Will you join us?

I have started memorizing verses and passages just recently. I am memorizing the Beatitudes right now.

I am lifting your family up in prayer Kelsey. May you find comfort and strength in God’s open arms.
Praying for you Kelsey. May you draw close to the Lord as he draws close to you during this time.
Amen! Thank you Tricia
My mother passed away today. I have a 9 year old sister who is struggling badly (as we all are). I wanted to reach out for prayer at this time… I’m at a loss for words.
I’m so sorry Kelsey. I’m praying for you and your family. And even though you have no words, the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. May you especially feel God’s love, comfort and peace today and know that your Christian brothers and sisters are lifting you up in prayer and grieving with you.
The lord is close to the broken-hearted ; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18
He heals the broken-hearted and bandages their wounds. Psalm 147:3
amen dina. thank you for the support and wisdom, it means so much to me.
praying for you, dear one.
It’s so appreciated
God I pray for Kelsey in this time of confusion and mourning. Please provide that same peace for her family. Let her realize that this is a time where she truly needs to rely on you and that’s exactly what she should do because her joy will not derive from anything else. God I pray for Kelsey as she begins this rough journey. I pray that through this experience she comes out stronger and more passionate about you because she finds the truth and rests in you. Amen. He calls us to be still in Him, Kelsey. I say with all the sincerity and love in my heart that you rest in Him and find your peace there.
Amen! I am so appreciative of your prayer. I know that I am being comforted.
Kersey. So very sorry for you loss…will be praying for you and your family at this very sad and confusing time…
God be with you dearest and yours and I pray you know His peace throughout these coming days and weeks…xx
Yes Tina, thank you!
Kelsey,
Friend, I’m so sorry. Grieving and heavy-hearted alongside you, asking God to help you cling to His promises. May He wrap you and your sister in His love and peace. Love to you, sweet friend. We’re here for you!
xoxo-Kaitlin
Thank you is an understatement. Prayer is certainly getting us through this time. The Lord has been so comforting and tender to us.
What does it mean by “death like his”?
Traci, if you read the passages before and after it will make more sense.
I will do that Tricia. Thank you.
He wants us there every step of the way. We are so loved.
There are very few things that you can connect to the word “certainly.” Praise God that He connects us CERTAINLY with Him in His Resurrection. Blows. My. Mind. Enlarges. My. Heart. Thank you, Jesus!
Thank you for your comments! I look forward to reading what the Lord has laid on your heart each day. You have a gift for writing. Please continue to bless others!
Amen, Churchmouse! Thank you for sharing your thoughts today.

So profound to me …………I read it over and over . Thank you
