I couldn’t get yesterday’s reading to load and when I clicked it today, it disappeared so I just looked at the day before and where the next readings in Chronicles pick up and read the chapters alone on the Bible section so that I didn’t miss them. Hope that helps ☺️
Yes also having issues with the app, and June 26 is not available. Feel free to join a few of us reading along if you’re on FB…Search for the FB Group: The Bible in a Year w/ SRT. We’d love to have you along no matter where you are in your progress!
The Lord reveals himself to us when we wait in Faith. This is such a good reminder that our God is bigger than any trials or waiting. He’s bigger than any prayer we ask.
I wasn’t sure what was up with the last psalm until it hit me as a reminder of the nature of god even when Jesus isn’t down here healing all of my friends parents who are dying of cancer.
20You led your people like a flock
by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
18The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind;
your lightnings lighted up the world;
the earth trembled and shook.
19Your way was through the sea,
your path through the great waters;
yet your footprints were unseen.
Powerful scriptures today! Praise God for my cell member who introduced me to this app.
Psalm 75 spoke to me about remaining humble and never forgetting that God lifts me up. Not to get too proud because he can take me down (vs 4 and 7).
Psalm 76 – I am to worship God and bring him gifts by how I present myself to Him. My lifestyle is important. (vs 11).
Psalm 77:10-11 encourages is not to focus on our past but instead to ‘remember’ the goodness God’s goodness. After complaining the author says ‘and then I remembered’
I don’t know if it’s the music or what but watching him do the moves to the songs with such conviction is making me wonder what is going on to his heart
I really needed this, lately I’ve been feeling miserable and lost. My family no longer cares about me and now i’m on my own. I’m struggling for now and I know I can make it on my own but I feel like i lost my purpose. I’m asking the lord to help me. I want to feel connected with him once again.
Thanks for what you shared Natalie and for taking the courage to be so vulnerable in opening up.
When I read Psalm 77, I noticed in vs 10 the author says ‘and then I said’. It’s almost as if after reflecting on his problems he remembered all the ways in which God is. Good. I would encourage you to focus on His goodness. Everyday thank Him for his love. Go to Him everyday, throw yourself at His feet and let him love you! ❤️
Heather, I’ll say a prayer for you and your family! God will carry you through this time and make a way for you and yours. Place your worries on him, it will all work out.
Psalm 77 I needed this today!! Everyone please say a prayer for me. I know I’m a stranger to you but my husband and I want to start a family but my employment is a very toxic environment. Pray for God to open doors for us and me to remain steadfast in His love and grace. An occupation that provides those benefits needed for maternity and pay to support my future family. I do not wish to waste my hard work on a college degree just for my husband to carry all the weight! We are blessed and I’m grateful for what we do have but I JUST KNOW He has a bigger plan for my life! Time makes me weary in my faith but tonight’s read helps greatly!!
Praying that the Lord gives you guidance and wisdom and every kind of resource needed to make you a family that is fulfilled and focused on serving Him. For your enrichment and for His glory!
Heather, my prayer for you is that the Holy Spirit will work in your life. Knowing that children are one of the greatest gifts in this life that God entrusts to us and also knowing that He loves you so deeply, I am confident that the day will come when He makes you a mother. I pray that you will have clarity, that you we be able to hear and listen to the voice of God, that your wants will be His wants and that you can find peace and patience in the days between now and then. Be blessed !
When we are at our last wit’s end, unsure if the God who created us even cares (77:8 “Has his steadfast love forever ceased?) — that’s when we recount His wondrous works and stand in awe of Him. How our problems perish in the light of His wonder ! The God who parted the Red Sea is still mighty to save in 2016. He will save His people from destruction & all we need to do is trust Him and focus on His nature and the works of His hand and not on our problems!
Even when I don’t see His footprints, He is leading me. I needed this comfort today. Thank God for the constant reminders of his unending love and mercy when I am weary.
I love how this scripture present the love of Lord on us although we sometimes wouldn’t sure if he’s still there for us. In reverse, he’s always there and plans out every single steps for us to walk. Keep the faith and trust him ❤️
I really loved this today. I think too many times we get stuck thinking of the bad we face. But Psalm 77 reminds us of all the powerful things God has done around us. He will always be there even when we aren’t sure we see him. If we look, we will find him.
These passages have me nodding right along in agreement. When I get overwhelmed by what’s going on in the world today, it is so great to have verses like this to remind me of the faithfulness of God. He is with us. He has always been with us. He will always be with us.
One to fear & respect, but full of mercy & love with us!! Loved verse 13 of chapter 77, ” What god is as great as our God?” Sometimes we need that reminder when we find ourselves dedicating our lives to some other earthly matter.
Thanks for sharing! Psalm 77 didn’t hit me too much at first but after reading the comments and the link, I realized this is EXACTLY what my sister needs to hear right now so I shared it with her. Praying it speaks to her and she has a breakthrough, and I’m thankful for all of you girls who comment on here…it makes this whole study so much more enriching!
wow, Psalm 77, i’m so thankful that God put you in the Bible!!! wow again. The psalmist turns from protest to praise and maybe this is where he found joy again, in the middle of a very difficult situation and in the “absence” of God. When everything goes wrong and God seems far far away, when praying seems like a stupid thing to do, may we REMEMBER the goodness of our God, what He has DONE for us. May I praise You in this storm because this is how I’ll find You again!
Psalm 77
1 I cried out to God for help;
I cried out to God to hear me.
2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord;
at night I stretched out untiring hands,
and I would not be comforted.
Our Father is always waiting to catch us and assist us on our way. We just need to let go and let Him. Praying each of you has a blessed Sunday.
Thank you Yana for your prayer and for the reminder that all we have to do is let go. Letting go of control and handing everything over to God is something I am still struggling with, despite the fact
I have been saved for many years.

1I cry aloud to God,
aloud to God, and he will hear me.

13Your way, O God, is holy.
What god is great like our God?
I looked at the readings on the day (couldn’t click it either) and read them in the Bible section which would open.

Thanks Sarah ! I had no idea there was a FB Group
I love the description of how nature responds to God. He has power over even the most powerful things on earth!

In our day of trouble may we also remember, ponder, and meditate the great works of the Lord who has shown himself mighty in redemption.

Welcome Jen!

Praying for you to find peace and comfort in the Lord Natalie. Being on your own can be hard but with the Lord nothing is impossible ❤️

The imagery in this verse is powerful and exciting! It’s a beautiful way to describe God’s majesty!
I am so hopeful with reading this. I feel like I am growing apart from Him lately and reading this gives me my hope again.
19 Your way went through the sea
and Your path through the great waters,
but Your footprints were unseen.
I need to remember that he is wth me even when I can’t physically see him. This verse jumped at me!

Love this! It’s still true in 2017!
Wow!! Yes! Yes! This is one of my favorites and will re-read this daily!!
Verses 16-19: God deserves so much more recognition and praise and holy fear for all of His incredible works
psalms 77:13-15 amazes me more and more every time i read it
Amen! Psalm 77:20 MSG
Hidden in the hands of Moses and Aaron,
You led your people like a flock of sheep.
This spoke to me today
Even when I don’t see His footprints, He is leading me. I needed this comfort today. Thank God for the constant reminders of his unending love and mercy when I am weary.
This passage couldn’t have been more perfectly timed for me to read! Amazing! :) He is GOOD
