Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
For the first three weeks of this plan, we are memorizing one of our key verses, Revelation 21:5. This week, we’ll memorize the second half of Revelation 21:5, holding onto the firm foundation that all of God’s words are faithful and true.
Then the one seated on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new.” He also said, “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”
—Revelation 21:5

Teresa, Praying for you as you enter this new chapter of parenting. Remember that God loves your children more than you and your husband possibly could. Love them, model God’s love, and parent from relationship, not fear. Calling them to himself is the Holy Spirit’s job, not ours. You got this! ❤️
Happy Sunday ladies, praying for many requests. Maria Baer I pray that you are confident today to bless many with kind words of truth as you pray over and with them. Jesus cried with his friends even though he knew Lazarus would rise from the dead, sometimes mourning with those who mourn is good medicine. Mercy, can you please explain how you and others in your church are fasting for 21 days? I am trying this as of yesterday and skipped lunch. I am also thinking of not watching TV for a day, depriving myself of something each day and focusing more on the Lord. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday! I’m off to teach SS today, praying that the littles will be good listeners as it is hit or miss with this crew, and that the parents are blessed to have some time with adults to worship in peace! Also wanted to thank all those who comment and share songs and to links to beautiful utube videos of how the heaven and earth will be. I never really understood Revelations and am learning so much and feeling hopeful as the world spins into more chaos, God is in control.
My church is fasting as well. I’m fasting secular music & TV. Along with social media scrolling. I keep up with stories of people I know because then I know what to pray about, but I don’t scroll or follow strangers anymore
For the first time today ad I read that verse, I pictured John sitting with his mouth open, stunned and immobile at what he is hearing! And God has to snap him back to attention. Just my mental picture to help me memorize the verse.

When I write stuff down and journal. Even the little things. I relaize how much God has done. He is so faithful, even towards the things we dont realize He hears!

When I FINALLY (it took me years) was able to focus on what I had and developing my relationship with the Lord, I met my now husband one random day out of the blue. TERESA SERNA… I love that… “Write this down, you’ll need it later.” We do, indeed. ❣️
RHONDA J. You would be miserable here… It is -16 and feels like -28! I am from Southern California (but have been in NW Missouri for over 30 years… but my bestie always says you can take the girl out of CA, but you can’t take the CA out of the girl! Heeheehee!)
Be blessed this Lord’s Day and stay warm and safe if your weather is yucky. (Be safe even if the weather is NOT yucky!)
I keep having the song “Christ is my Firm Foundation” by Maverick City running through my head this morning.
He’s never let me down. I can honestly say that! I am so thankful that He is making all things new and that His words are faithful and true! So blessed to be a Child of God!
It’s a beautiful reminder that all the words God has spoken to us are faithful & true!! Keep writing them down, the ones for you & the ones for those connected to you.
Theresa **❤️❤️
Prayers for all of you!
Love your story @Teresa ❤️
Happy Sunday, Shes!
Amen
God is FAITHFUL and TRUE!
GM and Happy Sunday
I love reading Revelations, mainly this verse! I love that God would give us the beginning and the end, so we don’t have to fear or worry how the story ends!
Hope you all are staying warm, we are in SWF and cold here in the 60’s! I will have to dress warm! lol I had to turn the heat on this morning! (humor aside, the cold hurts my back and nerve damage!) @Kelly Neo- feel for you, hope it goes away soon, keep doing gentle stretching!
I have the song going through my head…Oh..Death where is your sting…but can’t think of the name of it!!
My church does a 21 day fast at the start of January every year and this year I have been really burdened to pray for my children to move deeper into their relationship with God. My oldest is 10 and I can see how he is moving into an age where his faith will need to change to carry him into teen and preteen years. Honestly, I’m terrified. Despite years of serving ministry and a Masters in Ministerial Leadership I feel completely unprepared for this responsibility. I would appreciate your prayers.
SARAH D- praying for you this morning and asking God to meet you and surround you with his presence in the waiting. I was the last of my college friend group to get married and know exactly how you feel when you’re looking around and saying “if not him, there’s no one else.” God ended up calling me to move to a new state and through the new church home there, I met my now husband. We were on our way to a young adult conference and just happened to sit together in our pastor’s car. We talked the whole way and when we got there, found that we had signed up for all the same sessions. We spent the day together, then got coffee after we got home, then dinner, then sat together at church the next day, then had lunch… you get the picture :). He called his mom the day we met and told her he’d met the woman he was going to marry. He had been waiting and praying for a wife for years (he’s a couple years older than me). He had also wondered if there was anyone for him. But God perfectly timed our meeting for when we would both be ready and 9 months after that first meeting, we were engaged. We just celebrated 15 years of marriage in December and have three incredible kids. I know you’re hearing this from so many but don’t lose hope. God knows this desire to be a wife and mom. He cares for you and he has a plan. Keep leaning on him.
Thankful that the vision to John was for them then and for us now!
Update: my back is better today, fewer spasms overnight. Thankful for your prayer, God’s mercies, and ibuprofen. :)
LAUREN GUT – sorry forbyour loss.
HEATHER H – how heartbreaking. Prayers for your friend and her family.
May you all experience God’s pleasure as you worship Him today
Amen
