Day 28

Weekly Truth

Micah 6:8

BY She Reads Truth

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go.

As we walk through these Minor Prophets together, we are memorizing key verses from our reading. The key verse for the book of Micah tells us how God calls His people to live.

Mankind, he has told each of you what is good
and what it is the Lord requires of you:
to act justly,
to love faithfulness,
and to walk humbly with your God.
—Micah 6:8

Write this passage down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

We want to be a community that is intentional about Scripture memorization. Will you join us?

Thanks for this study SRT! Going through some darkness currently and this particular study was exactly what God wanted me to hear. Thankful that you and the team are letting the Spirit work through you so that He can speak to so many.

  2. Day 11& 13 are both still showing up in my list as Grace Days. I’m not sure if this matters for sisters who come to the study late, but it could be confusing.

And so we come to the end of another awesome study by SRT. You’ve opened my mind and my heart to these minor prophets – whose message is quite major. God is sovereign and just and faithful. Always. In every circumstance. Thank you SRT for the beautiful study guide and the devotions – I awaken each morning eager to open my Bible and the SRT app. Praying for all who are a part of this community. I love meeting here.

    1. Mari says:

Good morning Churchmouse, I just reread yesterday’s verse and comment. Its just what I needed.

      1. churchmouse says:

Thank you. Ongoing prayers said for you and your situation. Praying for peace and strength as you hold tightly to Him Who is more than able.

  8. Is there a lock screen image with this week’s scripture?

    1. EarlyBird says:

It’s a great one, isn’t it! I think if you tap on the image, you can then save it in your photo library. Then you’d be able to save it as a lock screen from there. Maybe try that?

    2. Anne says:

      There is one on hereadstruth.com

    3. Amanda Bible Williams says:

The correct lock screen is now available. Sorry about that, friends!
