Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.
—Romans 6:4

SOPHIE MITCHUM – I listened to the song you shared yesterday. Beautiful and newbto me even though it is several years out. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Praising God for all of you! What a beautiful “grace day!” Even though every day is a grace day for believers. I pray that each of us will have an opportunity to share God’s grace with someone today!
❤
Walk in newness! To god be the glory!
Good morning sweet She’s and HAPPY SATURDAY!! This verse is so fitting and I am asking for prayer for my daughter as THIS very morning she/we are meeting with a friend of hers from high school, who out-of-the-blue texted my daughter and is asking questions about salvation, Jesus and what it means to be a Christian. The girl’s name is “D” please pray for the Holy Spirit to guide my daughter. We are picking her up here shortly. My daughter wants me to sit with them, however I don’t want this friend to feel bombarded, so please pray we be sensitive the the Holy Spirit’s prompting. My son helped her with the WORD and a little guidance. She’s nervous, BUT GOD……..
This is so wonderful Mari! What a wonderful reflection on you and how you have instilled and taught your children about God’s love. Praying for all of you today and for “D” that she will hear your daughter’s heart and accept Jesus Christ into her heart. What a blessing for young people to have Jesus in their hearts these days. ❤️
Thank you Cathy. We’re here now. It’s a gorgeous morning☀️. I’m sitting at a different seat. We are very much into the conversation. I’m praying quietly.
That’s amazing! I swear nothing is greater, well than being saved ourselves, but to help someone else know the saving power of Jesus, and then lead them through accepting Him!! Always planting, sowing and harvesting! Disciplining. Ministering. I am doing a happy momma dance with you!How proud you must be of your two!!
Hope all went according to God’s plan! ❤❤ How your daughter must have blessed your heart!
Thank you all for praying. We sat at that coffee shop for about 2 1/2 hours. So glad it wasn’t too noisy. I sat nearby reading a book. Her friend hasn’t accepted Jesus “yet“ BUT is very interested in going to church with her. Meanwhile my daughter is going to get her a Bible.
❤❤❤ Sees is planted. The Madter Gardener will tend. Praying she obeys His call. ❤

Take it to God and leave it there. I love this! I believe I read some one here actually writes their worries down, puts them in a box. And seals them away! Do not worry about your life our Lord says. We are so blessed.
❤️
Thanks be to God for our newness of life through Jesus! As I watch the sun rise, I remember how good God is as He is always present. He never fails us as we fail him. May we glorify Him in all we do today. May we point others to Him through our words and actions. Praying for all affected by the recent Hurricanes.
Yes amen!! Beautiful!
Once dead – raised to life to walk in the newness of life. Praise God!

Good Morning My She’s!
I am happy because we didn’t have power last night at church and my small group STARTS this morning! We are already a week late because of hurricane Helene, and thought Milton was going to mess this one up! lol. Darn hurricanes. :/ BUT WE Have power I’m told! Yay!!
Like I posted on Tina’s post…I have a desire to be like Paul and tell, shout, urge my ladies, and others I meet WE HAVE CHRIST, He DIED for us…IS IN US!! We HAVE to live AS POWERFUL Christ follower!! For him, with him, loving him, desiring him, fighting for the faith, and telling others!! It’s not a choice, it’s imperative. When did we fall so passive, listless of our faith in our culture! We are spoiled for sure. We don’t read our Bibles, we only shout and praise Jesus on Sundays, and we never share the gospel with people we talk to that we KNOW that need Jesus. I am awake..I am put my warrior boots on for my freedom and to fight for it, and when afflictions arise I am calling out to Jesus, my Savior, my everything!!
Okay, I’m done now!! Love ya’ll!! Have a great WKD!!
Yesterday I prayed with a friend about this very thing – the church (myself included) needing to be bold and courageous with our faith and in sharing the gospel…Why is it so hard to share the most wonderful thing anyone could imagine??! – praying for boldness and courage to share with those I know and love.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you for your encouraging enthusiasm!! ❤️
I agree! The most wonderful, beautiful news we could give and talk about, yet….it is challenging.
We had a beautiful meeting today. I want to share a story on FB! Crazy how God brings just the right people.
Indeed. It is more important to share the good news than pointing out other’s sins. Society is more accepting of division speech right now than that of love and unity in Christ.
Amen!
❤
Amen
Oh I looked forward to Grace Day. Yesterday was filled with urgent but unimportant tasks. Things that had to be done, but nevertheless, I was frustrated because it was not the “one-necessary-thing” (Luke 10:42). BUT GOD! He doesn’t run away. He is still in the same place. The place where I can always find Him. His mercies are new every morning.
Thank you for the responses on my comment/prayer last Thursday. They were appreciated ❤️ Even though I know I am not the only one who struggles with prayer, it is also “good”/necessary to hear.
LANIE H – Your comment leads me to share that I have the same desire. But sometimes I think: I don’t know what I am asking for when I am asking for a child… I will keep asking for God’s guidance.
CATHY MCVEY – Thank you for sharing Joyce Meyer’s practical advice to “take it to God and leave it there”. To do what I can/must and leave the rest to God. It reminded me of Psalm 127: “Unless the Lords build a house, its builders labor over it in vain….”
CEE GEE – Loved your breakdowns from the past two days!
ERB – “Not all praise is happy or joy-filled, sometimes it is just trusting, hoping and clinging to Him for dear life!” AMEN!
SHARON – Continued prayers for Jeff’s treatments and your holidays.
MERCY – God’s silence is a sign of His intimacy. How true…! Thank you!
KELLY (NEO) and SEARCHING – Praying that God will provide a group of women to physically meet with.
LAURA – Thank you for yesterday’s testimony. No need to say sorry for long posts!
MARIA BEAR – Thank you for the update. Continued prayers for peace amidst the chaos❤️
RHONDA – Praying for you as you lead your small group.
D W – Oh yes, praying for our “daily bread” is putting our trust in the Lord!
LINDA IN NC – Thanks for checking in! Continued prayers for you and Gene
CHERYL BLOW – “We are very diverse in our cultures, ethnicity, and backgrounds. I think we are just practicing for heaven!” AMEN!
MARI – Sending back some love ❤️
CATHY MCVEY – Praying you find a church to be part of
GRAMSIESUE – Continued prayers for you and Steve
LYNNE – Continued prayers for you and Jack
MIA FAITH and MARTHA HIX – Thinking about you today ❤️ Praying you may grasp God’s love for you.
Julia – I feel the same, yesterday was busy and “booked” all day. I missed being here yesterday, thankful for “grace day”.
Thank you for your prayers! ❤️
Julia, thank you for listing all the prayer requests! I’m going to write them in my journal so I can remember them!
Julia C- ❤
Thank you, Lord, for newness of life! ❤️
Sisters, may we never forget the sacrifice Christ made that gives us the opportunity to choose to accept and honor His sacrifice by walking in the new life He provided and modeled for us. I love the phrase “walk in the newness of life” and for me as well as others of you, it was a night and day change, Hallelujah!
❤ I have a seat at my table just for you! ❤ love your encouragement!
This message is one of hope, transformation, and empowerment. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, we are given a new way of living, marked by freedom from sin and the ability to live in alignment with God’s will. I am encouraged to embrace my new identity in Christ and walk in the power of His resurrection, living lives that honor God.
Amen, Monica ❤️
♥️ Today, Lord! ♥️
Amen! ❤️
Well said!
The Message says it this way..
So what do we do? Keep on sinning so God can keep on forgiving? I should hope not! If we’ve left the country where sin is sovereign, how can we still live in our old house there? Or didn’t you realize we packed up and left there for good? That is what happened in baptism. When we went under the water, we left the old country of sin behind; when we came up out of the water, we entered into the new country of grace—a new life in a new land! That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus. Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we’re going in our new grace-sovereign country.
Romans 6:3-5.
