“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
Psalms 19:14 NLT
i pray that the things i say and the things i think will be pleasing to God and that i will meditate on scripture so that my heart will be filled with scripture. -
i love these verses. “I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.”
Psalms 18:1-2 NLT
so comforting to know that i’m protected and safe. the Lord is my shield. -
Today’s reading was amazing. May we never depart from God and strive to obey his decrees in our day to day lives

2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. – Psalms 18:2

28 For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness. – Psalms 18:28. I love the imagery of the God of the Universe reaching down to strike a flame to a candle. -
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb. – Psalms 19:10 -
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. – Psalms 18:2 -
