  1. Katelinl says:

    2 I cry out to God Most High,
    to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

    I love that God promises to help us fulfill our purpose!

  2. Desirae says:

    Trusting God is not easy because of our nature…we always want to take control. But these psalms remind us to take refuge in Him, to remember his strength in contrast to our weakness, and to remember He goes before is and paves a way for us to walk in.

    1. Ariadne says:

      Yes indeed

    2. Dee says:

      Well said

  3. Yana says:

    Psalm 57: 1 Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me,
    for in you I take refuge.
    I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings
    until the disaster has passed.

    Psalm 59: 16 But I will sing of your strength,
    in the morning I will sing of your love;
    for you are my fortress,
    my refuge in times of trouble.
    17 You are my strength, I sing praise to you;
    you, God, are my fortress,
    my God on whom I can rely.

  4. Kate says:

    16 But I will sing of your strength;
    I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
    For you have been to me a fortress
    and a refuge in the day of my distress.

  5. Michaela Colette says:

    It’s so easy to say “God is my strength” but to actually walk it out can be so scary and difficult… It’s against our flesh to trust something that is not tangible. We wake up every morning and place our feet on the ground day after day, we trust the ground will be there. Yet, in difficult times we must also trust Yahweh even more so than we unthinkingly trust the ground under our feet.

    1. Tina D. says:

      Well said!!

  6. Linda says:

    Be exalted , Oh God, in the heavens,
    Let your glory shine over the earth!

  7. Sal says:

    17 O my Strength, I will sing praises to you,
    for you, O God, are my fortress,
    the God who shows me steadfast love.

  8. Foxette says:

    16But I will sing of Your strength and will joyfully proclaim Your faithful love in the morning. For You have been a stronghold for me, a refuge in my day of trouble.
