Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
Over the course of this study, we are memorizing 1 Timothy 4:7b–9. This week, we’ll add verse 9.
Train yourself in godliness. For the training of the body has limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance.

Happy Sunday praying for you all!
Oh how I try to train myself in godliness, but somehow still fail at times. It is a process. We are human. Thank God for His adoption of us “stiff necked” people!
Hide God’s word in your heart is what came to mind this morning. Scripture memorization is not a strength of mine, however I do remember scripture and recall (and look up when I need to). As I type this what came to mind is how thankful I am the easy access of The WORD. A bible at home, a laptop, our phones, the SRT study guide. Thankful we have easy access at all times. Happy Sunday sweet She’s. I’m little tired this morning. Four-hours+ of total driving, but so grateful I made it to and from. Driving has not been a strength of mine, but GOD!! I prayed and prayed a lot. I even praying a coupe of days prior and asked for prayer. I know God was with me. YEP, I ended up as it got dark (not my favorite), but GOD was with me! I ended up leaving late as my daughter was having hard time me leaving :( I am grateful and woke up prayer for her as she will be attending church with friends this morning and later going to the Fair. I’m praying she hears a great message and pierces in her heart. I love my girl!
Lord, I give you my heart and mind to be trained towards godliness, righteousness, to lead me and to walk in faith. As we meet with our church families today, lift our voices of praise and adoration, and hear the instruction and teaching of your Word may we changed and transformed towards your likeness. Bring encouragement and joy to us Lord. We love you.✝️
Have a wonderful day SRT sisters.❤️
‘I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.’ Psalm 9:2
Amen❤️
I was never one for exercise, and certainly not one for training in any shape or form!
That said, I did train to be a chef I guess, although most of the practicals were actually borne of watching my grandma in the kitchen.. She would often say things like.. “they’ll stick a stamp on you and send you back if you don’t learn how to cook..” when I itched to go out and play! the thought of a stamp on my forehead and daddy’s address across my body..
I guess learning was easier, and I have learnt to be an independent, oftentimes able to fix, paint, change, make and put up..
Training is not my thing..
.
BUT GOD..
.
Is.
.
Absolutely worthy of my training. My being trained. My getting it right. My being Christ like. My prayers. My worship. My studying His Word..
.
Lord God, may the training continue daily, and Lord, may I be a student who hears, learns and applies, for your glory and my benefit..
Amen.
.
Happy Sunday my dears..❤️
A BIG Amen to that! I don’t like to train either. (exercise yes, studies no)
But the more I study God’s word the more I have reverence and awe, wander and amazement, joy and gladness, anticipation and patience!! Oh How Good is He!! The ongoing sanctification is fascinating and transforming!! May the fruits fill me up and overflow, and I walk in his Spirit daily! Lord, I want you, more of you. Fill me today. Fill my loved ones and us She’s and let us rest in you! Amen!
❤️
Lord show me any areas in my life that are not pleasing to you!
Praying for all! Have a wonderful day in the Lird!
Amen
Happy Sunday! This is the day the Lord Hath made! We Praise you Lord!! Hallelujah for Jesus, the Son that sets us free! For His Love, Grace, and Mercy! His kindness and goodness!
Our circumstances may be hard, the sun shadowed by grief, tears staining our face..BUT GOD, He is working for us. We must keep the faith, trusting and obeying!

I chose a random church to meet my son and his gf at this morning! It’s closer to his new apartment. I’m hoping it might be an option for him in the future, and not just going when I am in town.
Praying that there will be a stirring in your son and his gf hearts that would move them to seek the Lord and desire a church family connection ❤️
❤️
Happy Sunday!

Psalm 138:1-8 NLT
“I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart; I will sing your praises before the gods.
I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name.
As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.
Every king in all the earth will thank you, Lord, for all of them will hear your words.
Yes, they will sing about the Lord’s ways, for the glory of the Lord is very great.
Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud.
Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.
The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.”
