Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you.

I like to follow the footsteps of KELLY and RHONDA J in their sweet comments today.
AMANDA NOBLE- are you here with us? I have been thinking of you and the ordeals you have been through. I wonder at times how you are, how your daughter is, and your chicken are. I pray you found a good home with a nice yard, and a good job, a good church community who loves you in deeds and in actions, that you find healing, joy and peace for your soul.
Yes, I too have thought of her! Remember we had hoped to do a fund for her but didn’t hear from her again! Amanda, Hope to hear from you!
Yes sweet Rhonda. You said something so profound today. To leave your burden here by sharing with us.. this left me very emotional. ❤️
Kelly, your reposting is really amazing and I can’t thank you enough for the reminder of who and what to pray for. Thank you for remembering my brother BJ. He is actually going for surgery this coming Friday where they will inject hot chemo into his stomach in the hopes that once and for all he will be cancer free! This surgery is an answer to prayer, and I can only believe that it will be the endgame for him! Mentz. He has been battling for four years two years ago. He was denied to have surgery because they didn’t expect him to live because of the diagnosis that he had. But he has proved them all wrong time and time again to God be the glory. Thank you for the prayers.
Prayers for this surgery and success! If you could please remind us on fb page the morning of! :)
Praying for successful surgery and good recovery for him.
Aimee Rogers – continuing to pray for relief for your migraines
ANNA LEONOR – how is your dad’s, Armando recovery from heart surgery this summer? Any chance he could be a candidate for a new kidney now?

Kelly! Destiny (the foster child I took in for her senior year of Highschool)spent Friday night with us (she is living about an hour from us now) and brought over her roommate who is a wonderful Christian girl! The friend’s family loves Destiny, takes her to church and out to dinner. Destiny brought back some things she “accidentally” took from my daughter. (she still struggles with lying and taking things). But now she is growing as a Christian and I can see some beautiful changes in her! I always knew the Lord has plans for her! Thanks for asking!

I JUST woke up!!! Like 25 minutes ago!!!
My walking friend is meeting me. I managed to brush my teeth, change my clothes and reading here with you all
Yay…that is a great thing! Glad you got some needed rest!
Thank you, Rhonda! I really needed it. I really try to strive to sleep eight hours on the weekends.
Good morning She’s! I hope you are enjoying your Saturday morning. It is chilly here. 34 degrees and frost on the windows! Could I please ask for prayer for my friend Lisa? She had a bilateral mastectomy on Monday and has a bad infection. They took her back to surgery last night and started treating it right away. It will be a long haul of antibiotics. I know God is able to heal her completely. She could definitely use our prayers.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Oh my, COLD! I wasn’t use to that when I was up north a couple of weeks ago! 47 one night in our little RV! I am happy to be back down here in the 80’s and 90’s for Fall! lol.
Prayers for your friend. :/
Yes, prayers for Lisa. ❤️
Praying Lisa’s infection will clear up quickly and no more surprises during recovery!
This verse is a word to hold on to. Thank you, Jesus that you are my peace
This verse has been such a part of my foundation in Christ! I memorized it as a young mom in a ladies Bible study. Our teacher still is such a precious sister in Christ! It also, reminds me of a friend who just recently went to heaven. She was the one in that class who shared the verse.
We learn so much from each other! We encourage each other and build each other up!
Praying for SHARON-your cousin’s funeral and Jeff’s treatment and being able to h hi o to the funeral.
Thank you SEARCHING for your prayers and praying for Tanya,Lynne, Marina, Lynne, Linda, Nancy, Gramsiesue! And for all who share their beautiful insight!
❤
This verse is also one of my ‘life’ verses because it crossed my path back in 2010 when I was grieving the loss of both parents, 2 months apart from each other. I just couldn’t think clearly, and I remember writing this verse on a small piece of paper and putting it in my jeans pocket before I left the house to run errands.
Just having it in my pocket, ‘on’ me, gave me comfort, somehow. God’s word does that!
During that time, the Psalms also became so dear to me. God quietly spoke to me through them. My relationship with God is directly related to my relationship with His Word. I am so thankful for that! And it’s become my message of encouragement to other ladies, too.
Any amount of time spent in His word is never wasted time. But you dear She’s already know that, don’t you? :-)
Have a wonderful day filled with God’s rich blessings!!
❤
SEARCHING – Thank you for sharing the Message version and your summary. A SURE THING- what a PROMISE! Great word, sister! ❤
~~~
I had copied the NLT to share as well. I just love the flow of that one.
“You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you.”
~~~
SHARON, so glad you and Jeff will be able to attend the wake together. Prayers continue for Tom’s family. ❤

Prayers, hugs, and love, sisters!
Good morning and happy Saturday, sisters! I am having a blessed reunion/vacation with my daughter in rural GA this weekend, and I see God blessings the conversations we are having. We were spiritually estranged for many years, and there is still much healing work to be done. I still don’t know exactly where her heart is with the Lord, but I am asking Him for wisdom to guide our conversations. I know she was truly hurt and alienated by my divorce, and she still may not realize that her father is a con artist, so I must choose my words wisely. But I know God is with us, and this weekend is truly a gift from Him.
Praying! ❤
Praying restoration continues.
How is Angel dealing with the Cushing disease?
Restoration… what a beautiful word. Yes, Margaret… praying it continues. ❤️
Thank you Lord that we can trust in you and that you are all powerful and our everlasting rock.
Thank you Lord that we can trust in you and that you are all powerful and our everlasting rock. ❤️
❤ good to see you!
❤️ Good to see you pop in with a comment.
How is your sister-in-law witt Alzheimers?
Thank you for asking about Pam’s Alzheimer’s. She’s been given some medication to take to slow progression. The results do not appear to be very successful. It’s very sad whenever we talk.. I try to be very intentional with any questions…” is it cold today”. Her recall is very limited.
Her daughter is a physician who lives in New Mexico and was texting me that she does not recognize who she is when she calls. My niece went to the medical school in San Antonio 30 minutes away from me and her mom lives in Dallas and they spoke every day and she was such encouragement during her medical school days.
Thank you for your prayers and your thoughtfulness in following up. ❤️
I love that this verse is part of a song to be sung on judgement day (26:1). And I love the verse immediately after. “Trust in the LORD forever, because in the LORD, the LORD himself, is an everlasting rock!” So powerful & wonderful.
Lol my first comment is awaiting moderation. Hope it goes through!
Hope the rest of the week went well with the trainee! ❤
It happened to me too several times, sometimes nothing posts until the next day, sorry Kelly. There are certain words they might block, or get flagged through their system, as it was explained to me a while back (I used to get blocked by moderation almost every single day before in a short period of time, then I decided to get to the bottom of it and seek understanding).
Doing a follow-up Saturday!

One of my favorite scriptures. There is nothing quite like peace of mind, and the one way to have it is through trusting in Jesus and looking to Him as we go through our day and through life.
_____________
Thank you all who have prayed concerning my cousins funeral. It will be on Tuesday morning which means my husband wouldn’t be able to attend. So we’ve decided to go up for the wake which is Monday evening from 5:00-7:00, and miss the funeral. This way Jeff gets to come and we can both be there to comfort the family.
___________
@Marina Sayadian – I am so sorry to hear of this little boys cancer. I can’t imagine what the family is going through. Much prayers for all.❤️
___________
Have a blessed Saturday my sweet sisters! ❤️
Amen
Isn’t that a beautiful and trustworthy verse?! HE will keep my mind in perfect peace WHEN I keep my eyes on him. YES LORD…I love and need that in a world of crazy and confusion! It is hard as an “older” person to hear about all the anxiety issues of our younger people..and I mean by younger…that covers LOTS of ages! I do believe you can combat it by fixing your mind on things of Jesus!! I literally have had Christian radio playing in my day for 24 years. In the house- all areas, in my car, on my headphones. It grounds me and fixes my thoughts on HIM. The news is good and inspirational. I also am in the word first in the morning. And praying and talking to God ALL day. Yes, I know it is different for those that have long hours at work, and it the world that can’t possible do this…BUT GOD, that’s why it is say…hide in your heart His Word. we must know and memorize scriptures, know the stories so we can refer to them in every situation. It takes dedication and a hunger and desire just like it does with growing any relationship. Think back to your first love of how you couldn’t get enough of them! Your mind was consumed with them and you anticipated being with them in every free moment!
Hoping you all have a beautiful weekend.
@Lynn, Sue, and Linda—Thinking about you…that it must be getting more difficult. Hope you can share and unload some of the heaviness with us. We are here for you.
I almost never read The Message translation – found it helpful for my understanding today.
–
People with their minds set on you,
you keep completely whole,
Steady on their feet,
because they keep at it and don’t quit.
Depend on God and keep at it
because in the Lord God you have a sure thing.
–
A sure thing – uncommon in today’s world but God the Father is a sure thing! Jesus Christ His son is a sure thing! The Holy Spirit, our Helper, our Comforter is a sure thing!
