Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
As you finish reading 2 Corinthians, combine your memorization from the last two weeks to remember the entirety of 2 Corinthians 12:9.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.
—2 Corinthians 12:9

Sunday Morning, Son-Shine, Dear Shes
Boast in weakness.
Lifted by His Power.
Live wholly.
Be made new.
To Him be honor & glory evermore!
Meet you in Galatians!!
Happy Sunday sweet She’s!! WHEN I am weak…HE is strong for me!!! His are the footprints in the sand. LOVE you all SO much! OFF for another trail walk-to-the-junior-college with my daughter, but this time from the coffee shop where my son works as there may be times when she’ll go to work with him and walk to the college from there. Please pray as the area is not the safest but we want to see where she can walk and still be safe. I got her some pepper spray as well.
Love to all of you ladies! Beautiful prayer warriors, all! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Mia Faith…..Sweet girl….I have been thinking and praying for you! Not sure if I just have missed your comments but so glad to hear from you! Happy Sunday!!
Thank you!! I have needed those prayers and I feel them!!
So thankful for God’s grace! Praying for all in Debbie’s way! Praying for all!
GM faithful prayer warriors. I want to update you all on how things went with our daughter Taliah last evening. We had her in for dinner. The first that we have really spent any time with her for the last 5 years, although our relationship has really been strained since she was 18 years old which was 7 years ago. This could be a very long post, so i will TRY to be brief. It was awkward for the first 5 minutes. Then we just chatted, had dinner, played some games and just caught up with each other like nothing had ever happened. She was her old self again! My husband and I felt a lot of peace the entire evening. We have plans to meet her this afternoon for a short time. She is going to see her sister, who she hasn’t talked to for the last 7 years and meet her husband and baby. God is on the move. He is pulling our family out of this valley. It is a journey, to be sure. It was not the Prodigal Son coming home, humbled and wanting to now follow Christ. BUT, it was movement, and so we accept this miracle as the beginning steps toward healing our relationship with our daughter and having her join our family once again. As a member of our family, she can’t help but hear and see the Gospel. I am blessed to have so many strong believers in my family, and I know my daughter wants so desperately to be part of the family again. We will need continued prayer on how to navigate the past. There are things that need to be addressed. But for now, we wait on the Lord and will follow His guidance on the right timing of all of that. Thank you, sisters, for your faithful prayers for us as we have poured out our hearts to the Lord asking for a miracle and so many have joined us in that prayer and He has been faithful and is moving in our family.
Thank you for the update. Looking forward to more, as He is on the move with your family, Laura.
Praising God for your time with your daughter! I will continue to pray for her heart to desire the Lord and return to him. Our daughter is still believing the lies of her lifestyle Please pray for us as we walk the same road.
Dear Cynthia—I’m not sure how long you have been on SRT. I first saw a comment from you recently. It’s nice to see a fellow Alabamian here! I have added your daughter to my list of prodigals that I pray for every day. ❤️
Keep the faith dear Laura, He indeed is on the move! Filled with joy this morning for you! Prayers will continue.
Joining our SRT sisters in Praising God for this wonderful time with your Taliah (beautiful name by the way). God is good!
Oh Laura…that IS an amazing step! Celebrate that and keep the faith! It’s SO hard not to want to jump in and take control and move forward in our own way, BUT you are so much more mature in your faith! It is a great example for us, thank you for sharing you journey and trial with us IN the midst rather than sharing the result as most people do!! It’s good for us to see the faith in the middle! As
@Miafaith, @Lynn, @TRACIG, @MariV and many other SHE’s have done for us!!
Great is thy Faithfulness! Thank you for sharing your journey. Beautiful how many in your family are praying. Praying for your daughter Cynthia.
What an encouraging report! Thanks for this update and continued prayers for the rest of her visit and beyond. ❤
Laura, I got teary reading your note; after 5 years! Goodness, what a praise report. I remember you saying a few months ago you were going to fast monthly on her birthday. Our God is so good. I continue to pray for her complete surrender.
Praising God for this amazing milestone. Continued prayers over your family and new intimacy, new bonding to be made in the time to come. Bless you.
Thank you, LAURA, for the wonderful praise report ❤️
So thankful that your time together went well! I have been praying but wasn’t sure when you were getting together. I pray for Taliah and all the prodigals every day. May God give you moms strength and peace as you wait for them to come home to the Lord! ❤️
Father thank You for being my strength. Amen
GM! Well, looks like we will not be going to church this morning with this darn Debbie trying to stir up things! We are in Estero, and in a high flood zone.
This Corinthians Study has been so enriching and relevant! I love that SRT has this site available for everyone, at no charge, to develop the habit of being in the WORD daily, there is NOTHING more important my friends! Nothing. Devotions are good, and encouraged, but after reading the scripture first. I like the topical studies, but the books are where it’s at!
Paul is such a crusader, a tornado of words that peirce and encourage, and discipline the early church, yet mean the same to us today, that is so amazing isn’t it! And the the Bible is moving and living that never gets totally figured out. YOu can study it for a lifetime and it is always speaking to you!
Yesterday in my group we talked about anxiety, and how that is a BIG giant to a lot of people, BUT GOD, He gives us many scriptures that says..DON’T FEAR—give your fear to me, I will take care of you, I am perfect peace! In our weakness, is POWER is sufficient!! We can be strong in Him, our God, our Lord, our ALMIGHTY, Powerful God is our source. Give it all to him today my friends. Whatever we walk in He is there with us, giving us perfect peace.
Oh, Rhonda, praying there is no major damage from the flooding! Stay safe, sister! ❤
“a tornado of words that pierce and encourage” LOVE this! As I said before, I am such a fan girl of Paul because he is such a straight shooter. I need that in my life and the Church needs more men like this preaching truth!
Praying for you sweet lady. Just checked on my sister. But she’s not near your area. Thank you for your words on encouragement this morning, “a tornado of words that pierce and encourage” Stay safe WE love you!
Praying over the situation dear Rhonda.❤️
If nothing else today…
Let me give thanks to the Lord this morning, one, for a new day, a beautiful new day to open my eyes, really open my eyes, breathe in breathe out, and again. To raise my hand in thankful praise to the One who keeps me from becoming conceited, full of myself and then some, For though I have my thorn/cross to bear.. He walks beside me.. encouragingly saying..
“It’s okay.. it is well.. for My Grace, MY FREE UNMERITED FAVOUR, covered in blessings is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in your weakness..” it is well!
It truly is this Sunday morning, because I know, no matter my difficulties, no matter the hardships, insults or persecution, or life’s ‘lemon throwing’ when I am weak, then I am strong in Him..
.
BUT GOD..
.
GRATEFUL. Absolutely greatful. Thank you Lord God, Thank you..
Happy Sunday dear hearts wrapped in love, hugs and prayers for a God blessed day for you and yours..❤️
Beautifully stated, Tina! Thank you! Love you and turn that blessing back to you! ❤
Christ’s power, love, righteous, mercy, grace…let it all reside in me!

Psalm 40:1-6, 9-12, 16
“1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
3
He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.
4
Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord,
who have no confidence in the proud
or in those who worship idols.
5
O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us.
Your plans for us are too numerous to list.
You have no equal.
If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds,
I would never come to the end of them.
6
You take no delight in sacrifices or offerings.
Now that you have made me listen, I finally understand—
you don’t require burnt offerings or sin offerings.
9
I have told all your people about your justice.
I have not been afraid to speak out,
as you, O Lord, well know.
10
I have not kept the good news of your justice hidden in my heart;
I have talked about your faithfulness and saving power.
I have told everyone in the great assembly
of your unfailing love and faithfulness.
11
Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me.
Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.
12
For troubles surround me—
too many to count!
My sins pile up so high
I can’t see my way out.
They outnumber the hairs on my head.
I have lost all courage.
16
But may all who search for you
be filled with joy and gladness in you.
May those who love your salvation
repeatedly shout, ‘The Lord is great!'”
.
THE LORD IS GREAT!
.
Celebrate His goodness today Shes❣️
