Day 14

Weekly Truth

from the Mourning and Dancing reading plan

1 Corinthians 10:31

BY She Reads Truth

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go.

This week, we are memorizing this reminder from the Apostle Paul that we can worship God in every situation—big and small, in joy and in sorrow.

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory.”
—1 Corinthians 10:31

Write this verse down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

We want to be a community that is intentional about scripture memorization. Will you join us?

Thank you for repeating this study for those of us who are new(ish) to your site. I was needing it.

What a rich and beautiful study. I am really looking forward to advent starting, but I appreciate the way this has prepared my heart to enter into the tension of the not yet/already of advent. I have very much enjoyed drawing near to the Lord through his word these last two weeks.
