Day 21

Weekly Truth

Luke 19:10

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.

This week we will memorize Luke 19:10, a foundational truth about the person and purpose of Christ.

“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”
—Luke 19:10

This verse comforts me in so many ways! From a larger picture perspective, He seeks and saves us when we don’t even know him, He comes into our hearts and molds us like clay. He also seeks and saves us in the tiny moments of every day when the world seems to overwhelm us He is there seeking us out and picking us back up again. Every. Single. Time.

This is an incredible reminder of God’s never ending, reckless love! He will not stop until we are all resting in His presence and embrace! Thank you for being an amazing community, this is my first comment but I’ve been reading the plans and scripture with all of you since Lent! I have been immensely blessed by these directed plans which have been helping me to grow ever closer to God’s presence, truth and love! May God bless all of you today and through this season of isolation and tensions!

Amazing Grace How sweet the Sound that saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now I’m found was blind but now I see…May the lost realize they need the one whose name is Jesus to save them from being eternally lost. Amen!

So thankful He sought & saved me! Praying for those I know and love who don’t know the Savior—yet!

  6. Jenna says:

The Son of Man has come. The Messiah is here. He seeks after me, the lost sheep. He comes running to me like the father runs to the prodigal son. He saves. He saves me when I am lost in my sin, lost to death, lost to my idols. Jesus saves.

“Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” -Jeremiah 17:14

So thankful we can praise our Savior together today for who he is and the great works he has done for us!

This verse is of great comfort when I think of unsaved family, friends, neighbors. He will not stop seeking. He will not stop pursuing. Though I may grow weary, He does not. He desires for the head count of the unsaved to be zero.

    Hallelujah Hallelujah.

    Praise the Lord!

The son of man, has come to seek and save the lost… that’s me!

    That is me!

No matter where I wonder, no matter where i roam, or travel off course, He, will come seek me, He will come and find me.. He will.

    He WILL..

He will because He loves, He will because His heart is for me, not against me. He will because, though I may stray, my Hope is built on Him.. His amazing grace.. my Hope is built on Him who came to seek and save the lost.. of whom I am one..

    Thank you Jesus.
