Day 42

Weekly Truth

from the Exodus reading plan

Exodus 15:1-3

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

For this reading plan, we memorized Exodus 15:1–3. Spend some time today reviewing the full passage to strengthen your memorization. Keep this song in your heart to remind you that victory belongs to our great God. And as the people of God, victory is ours also.

1 I will sing to the LORD,
for he is highly exalted;
he has thrown the horse
and its rider into the sea.
2 The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.
This is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is his name.
—Exodus 15:1–3

    RHONDA J–As a “Nana” myself I can only imagine how it breaks your heart to see the situation that Brayden and Riley are in and not be able to intervene on their behalf! I am praying for that whole family and situation and that God will give you peace and wisdom.

  4. Jennifer Loves Jesus says:

    May your Sunday be full of joyful notes singing Yahweh’s victory song. Like Miriam in Exodus 15:20 went out with a tambourine and danced in leadership with her song. So the women followed with singing and joy. May we follow in her steps with our own songs of deliverance. If we are faced with the bitter waters of Marah, may we remember who gives us fresh and living water. Let us not grumble at the sights of trouble, because Jesus gave us back our heart to take up and pour out love. He fills my heart to overflowing so my life flows with His. In Him is the fulness of joy. In Him we have peace. In His holy hands we are delivered back to our Father. Through seasons there are transitions between difficulty and joy. And the promise of Spring remains. There will be new buds and blossoms where no life is seen. There will be a new garden in full bloom in all of our days to come. So we travel along, with eyes on our Master Gardener who says, Trust Me, as life comes, He gives. As I live, I give, as I am given, I give, and He gives me more. So I will live and give. Give, and it will be given to you, with good measure, pressed down, shaken, overflowing… (Luke 6:38). A person of blessing will be enriched, and the one who gives water will also be refreshed (Proverbs 11:25). As today unfolds and light begins to brighten the sky, I lift prayers to God for my family and my friends. May there be healing and knowledge of the joy in salvation. Jesus come into our hearts and refresh us this day. So that we may refresh others, and bring hope to life here as we remember the hope everlasting to come. Amen.

  5. MARTHA HIX says:

    Thank you for your prayers. It is a comfort to feel God’s presence through you loving concern and compassionate interceding. Thank you Rhonda J for your words of encouragement that God sees us. I will be praying for your grandchildren and that they know God is with them in the midst of their family situation. With a grateful heart and prayers for all. ❤️

    * Psalm 27

  7. Kelly (NEO) says:

    27:1, 4, 13-14
    “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
    The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

    One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after:
    that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
    to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

    I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!

    Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”

    May the Lord bless you today, ladies.
