Day 14

Weekly Truth

from the Exodus reading plan

Exodus 15:1-3

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

This week, we will continue memorizing the Israelites’ song in Exodus 15:1–3 by adding the remainder of the first verse, which points to the Lord’s work in rescuing Israel from their enemies.

1 I will sing to the LORD,
for he is highly exalted;
he has thrown the horse
and its rider into the sea.

2 The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.
This is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is his name.
—Exodus 15:1–3

  2. Rhonda J. says:

    Let us never forget what Jesus did for us when we were at our lowest, our brokenness, our shame of sin- He was there, where He always was, is and will be, calling us to Him. I will sing my praises to Him and never be ashamed, even though the world does not agree, I stand firm on the solid rock! All other ground is sinking sand! Praise God. Amen and Amen.

    If you have a hurt today or think your problem is too big- Ask for prayer on this page, and look to God and tell Him about it, He is listening. Our God is able, and He is willing if you trust.

  3. Jennifer Loves Jesus says:

    Launch out into the deep -Jesus (Luke 5:4). Trusting God because of who He is vs what I want Him to do is where my contentment has landed. When I cannot see the shore, His presence is the immovable rock on which I stand. My needs are met in the deep things of God. Circumstances change, but He does not. He has delivered us in the wilderness. He parted the great sea of chaos. The horse and its rider hell bent on destroying God’s people blocked and stopped forever. Buried and drowned in their own chaotic destruction. There is now no sorrow that cannot be calmed by the peace of Jesus. His everlasting presence is the deepest of the deep. Launch out into Him for the best catch of a lifetime. Now and forever. Amen.

    The Lord is His name!!!

    Yes. I proclaim Him as our mighty warrior who fights the enemy and crushes him under His feet. You will have the victory, oh Lord.

    Good morning Shes

    RHONDA J – ❤ :-)

    My enemies, sin, devil and death, have been defeated. Thanks be to God and Jesus for the resue of my soul.

    May my song reflect this truth today.

    As you worship today remember these words from Psalm 37:
    “4 Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you your heart’s desires.

    5 Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him, and he will act,

    6 making your righteousness shine like the dawn,
    your justice like the noonday.

    7 Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for him;
    do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,
    by the person who carries out evil plans.

    18 The Lord watches over the blameless all their days,
    and their inheritance will last forever.

    19 They will not be disgraced in times of adversity;
    they will be satisfied in days of hunger.

    23 A person’s steps are established by the Lord,
    and he takes pleasure in his way.

    24 Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed,
    because the Lord supports him with his hand.

    25 I have been young and now I am old,
    yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned
    or his children begging for bread.

    26 He is always generous, always lending,
    and his children are a blessing.”
