Day 21

Weekly Truth

from the Ezekiel: Come to Life (Lent 2022) reading plan

Ezekiel 36:26-28

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

This week we are continuing to commit Ezekiel 36:26–28 to memory by adding verse 27. God promises the presence of His Spirit to His people.

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will place my Spirit within you and cause you to follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.”
—Ezekiel 36:26–28

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Great news about Finley, they have figured out what antibiotic will work and will know today or tomorrow which anti fungal will work, she has both an e-coli infection and yeast infection in her wound area. The best news is that they can be treated without IV access — we can give them to her through her g-tube. This means she can come home sooner — maybe Tuesday or Wednesday — the Lord is great and definitely answers prayers. She is “not out of the woods” yet though, until we totally get rid of both infections and get the wound healed we won’t be. So prayers needed still. Finley and parents also got their first good night of sleep. I also had a good night sleep. GOD IS SOOOO GREAT!!!

I have been reading and praying for all those who need prayer.

Lord, Your Spirit fills me and help me to “stay on track” with following Your ordinances and laws. Jesus, You died for me to have everlasting life and have it abundantly, I thank You over and over and over again for this. The Holy Spirit within me is and will be my guide if I let, I WILL LET LORD, GOD AND FATHER. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

Grateful for the indwelling Holy Spirit Who brings Truth to my mind that I might not sin against God. Amen.

  3. Lily M says:

Thank you so much for this recommendation. The prayer of my heart this morning in worship.

Hello sisters. I have had a busy few days. My son is back home and due to his 2nd shift work schedule he chose to go alone to the later service at our church. He is not happy about our house rule of church attendance but he is following it. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will pierce his hardened heart. He is in service as we speak, anyone who has a moment please say a prayer ❤️ I am struggling with trying to control this situation so I am praying for surrender and trusting in God’s perfect timing thank you ladies. I plan to enjoy the sunshine on my porch and go through my prayer list today. Have a great Sunday!

Amen, Kelly (NEO). We too prayed in our fellowship today that these leaders would have the same experience as Nebuchadnezzar and repent of their evil ways. Lord, have mercy on them and cause them to see their deeds as You see them and publicly turn and acknowledge You! Amen

  6. Heidi says:

These words are words I have prayed countless times over my niece, her friend, and others. I want to echo KELLY’s request for these words being used as prayer over people beyond our borders… lifting up the people and leaders of Russia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and beyond. We have an aching WORLD, not just country… May God move through us, our prayers, and our examples of Christ’s sacrificial love. ❤️

  7. Searching says:

Praying through the requests, especially for unsaved loved ones. I was one of those for many years and looking back, I cannot understand (thank you, Jesus!) how I could have been so blind, naive, not comprehending the wrongness of my choices. Thank the Lord that He is all powerful and can provide the strength to walk, or rather run, away from evil to His welcoming, open arms.

VICTORIA E – praying for rest, patience, a deep breath now and again – you can do this! I know moms that have pumped and then bottle fed their babies (freezing any excess for later), if that is an option. It also provided the opportunity for family or close friend to come over and handle feedings for a few hours so mom could sleep. And those that had to or wanted to go the formula route – their little ones are just fine, healthy, strong and growing (echoing what another sister said – maybe Heidi?)

  8. Rhonda J. says:

Happy Sunday Morning She’s! I pray for refreshing for you on this day of rest! For your minds and for your hearts! We get to go to church and worship, (which is a praise report after asking for prayer to find a home church in our new home that my husband and I would both like and become active in) halleluiah! Put on some praise music and do what makes your soul happy! :)
