Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
This week, we will continue to memorize the Shema by adding verses 6 and 7. To help you commit these verses to memory, write them three times in a journal or on a notecard and read the full passage aloud.
6 These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. 7 Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

God has blessed me with a wonderful community here, and at church and Christian friends. My son and his fiancé are Christian.

HUGE PRAYER REQUEST!!!
My friend (a father of a physically- challenged 7 year old) has gone through so many health issues for YEARS! Yesterday, he had a full HEART TRANSPLANT!!!
He needs heavy-duty prayers, PLEASE! There were some serious hiccups with the surgery resulting in low oxygen to the brain for 10 minutes and other organ issues that made him go back to the OR early this morning…as of this morning he is on life support and we are praying for his brain. Swelling needs to decrease before they can withdraw sedation and assess the extent of damage.Please pray for him (Danny) and whole family around him.

This is my prayer for both of my children that they will speak God’s Word to their children. I mess up quite a bit, BUT one thing for sure. My children know I love Jesus.. The most important people in my life after Jesus is my son Caleb and my daughter Alyssa. Prayers are appreciated for both of them.
