Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
As we read through Scripture about the kingdom of God, we will memorize the Lord’s Prayer together. The second part of the prayer reminds us to trust God to meet our needs, and to extend forgiveness to others because we are a forgiven people.
“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Happy Mother’s Day to all you amazing women!!! Each of you, whether you realize it or not has stepped into that “mothering” role for me (and for someone else) in one way or another, and I just want to thank you for being there, for sharing your heart, your love, your wisdom, your heartache, and your desire to go deeper in your relationship with God.
