This week we’ll memorize a reminder from the prophet Daniel, whose story we read on day 52, about our great God who holds the course of history in His hands.
He changes the times and seasons;
he removes kings and establishes kings.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to those
who have understanding.

Thank you Lord for your presence in every season, and specifically in this one.
Thank you for these SRT ladies – Modern day examples of Your Sovereignty, Your redemption, hope and purpose.
Like this study, when people see our lives, may the whole message and image be You. -
As the study of Old Testament Men and Women come to a close we see the Sovereignty of God woven in their stories. Through them we learn so much truth about God. From the beginning God and Jesus and the Spirit are all there. Now and forevermore they are there!❤️

God has allowed us seasons.
There are fruitful seasons and there are seasons for reflection and preparation.
All in God’s perfect timing.
Take advantage of the blessings as well as of the rest. Nothingness is not failure but time to be still and listen to God.
Always pray for direction as we continue our walk with Him.
I thank God for the good and bad seasons that have given me wisdom and knowledge.
I thank Him for the very place I am in today and I pray for focus to plant the seeds needed for tomorrow. -
I have absolutely loved these summer devotions of men and women in the word. This has been my favorite study. I think my favorite was Esther! Love all these people that have gone before us and how God worked through them. God is in control!!!

There is nothing that is out of the control of our great God. I must choose each day where I will focus my attention: on this world or in the God who holds it in His hands. I will choose His salvation and grace over the evil and deception of man. Lord, grow my trust in Your power, will, and love. Thank You for the constant reminder of Your presence and Your power over all.

God gives wisdom…
So grateful that God is not only a God of wisdom but that he shares that wisdom.
May I seek your wisdom Lord today and everyday.

God is sovereign.
His plan cannot be thwarted by man. Nature itself is under His control. Those in positions of power on earth are subject to Him. I pray for leaders who seek wisdom and understanding. I pray for leaders to humble themselves before God.I do not fret.
God is sovereign and He is good. He alone knows exactly what He is doing. His way is always right. His outcome is always just as it should be.God removes. God establishes. God gives.
Praise the Lord!
