What a gift these last three weeks have been. The Lord had really pressed me to read through this and He spoke like He said He would. I love that the Word is living and active.

This makes me think of such symbolism of multiple baptisms for rededicating life, situations, marriage; all reopening eyes as to a physical mark and memory.

to everyone who commented on my list yesterday, thank you! It was a big encouragement to know that others were praying for me. We did go to church and I really loved it and think it could very possibly be our church home. I’m working now on praying for and building up the courage to connect with a small group or actually try to meet some people because its a fairly large church and a bit overwhelming.

Small group is a great way to meet people. I also belong to a very large church. I’ve been there for over 20 years now. I met my best friend there. We were pregnant at the same time and now our boys are best friends. And my daughter and her daughter are close friends as well. We met in a small group.

This is the first study I have completed and it has been WONDERFUL! Getting back into God’s Word daily has been long overdue for me and I am so thankful my friend told me about you guys! Can’t wait for the next study.

This study of Nehemiah has been so encouraging to me. He prayed before he prepared! What a lesson for me to learn as I seek for what God has for me in this season of life as an empty nester.

This morning I asking myself what my “… this also…” is. “Remember me for this also, my God…” My “this also” reveals my true priorities. Remember me for loving You and loving Your Word. Look on me with compassion. I pray You are pleased with what You see.
