Grace Day

Ephesians 1:3-6

BY She Reads Truth

Take this day as an opportunity to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

“Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ. For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him. He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us in the Beloved One.”
—Ephesians 1:3-6

Lord how perfect is Your timing! How wonderful is Your Name! You know us better than we know ourselves. Thank you for this beautiful life! Thank you for all of our opportunities. Our blessings. Our past and our future. Thank you for putting it on my heart and for providing me with clarity. You know me better than I know myself. I will never cease to be amazed by You!

This is so good! It’s what I needed to hear today! I’m going through a really hard week, but God is faithful and this is a wonderful reminder that I can rest in Him, and have a grace day! Praise God! :)

Love this verse reminds me how special, loved and blessed we are to be chosen to be God’s children and how much love he has for us though we might not always think we deserve it

cSuch powerful words here, so full and meaning ful, especially on this Mothers day weekend. No matter what or where I am at with the challenges life gives me, I have Jesus.
I love the descriptive way the Message puts this.
“How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.”

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! His spiritual blessings are boundless. He chose me to be set apart for His purpose. Let me rejoice in the journey, keeping my eyes on Him. Let me rest assured that His intentions for me are always good. When I stumble, may I remember that He lavishes His grace on me. My heart overflows in gratitude as I walk on, confident in Him who is my beloved. Amen.
