Day 13

Grace Day

Matthew 25:35

BY She Reads Truth

Take this day as an opportunity to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

I grew up hearing, “people don’t care what you know until they know that you care”. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that convey love. When I was far from God, I knew there were ladies praying for me. They would talk to me about the Gospel. And it didn’t repel me because I knew they loved me. Showing love to others … may it be the theme of my days.

Needing so many prayers this evening, dear friends. The past two years have nearly destroyed my spirit, and last night my fiancee broke it off suddenly, and we just signed a lease together. I’m feeling hopeless and heartbroken. I need prayers for the Lord’s peace and guidance.

We are in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord….and they’ll know us by our love…

I love this version by King and country:

Have a blessed weekend dear Sisters, and may all that we meet know us by our love.

  4. Sue says:

If we believe in Jesus, we will bear fruit.
May our actions and care of others authenticate the gospel we believe.

  5. Churchmouse says:

When we look into the face of a fellow human being, we are to envision them as Jesus. Look into their eyes and meet their need. Food. Drink. Friendliness. Surely we can afford these.

  6. Erica Johnson says:

Back to the basics. I needed this, sometimes in life we try to do grand things for people to show we care. I think the basics are key, do you have what you need? And keeping them in prayer and letting them know that they can do all things through Christ for themselves.
