God is so good, y’all! He’s been patience with me during this new season and He re,Indus us of how capable we are because He’s already equipped us with what we need for this season. Thank you, God!,

I laugh because my mother was the queen of mid-century hospitality. She probably had a hundred linen napkins, and she threw parties big enough to use them. While I was taught those skills—I can tell you the only fork that goes on the right-hand side of the place setting—I never made friends with people who entertained that way. But I threw some awesome, fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants birthday parties. And rarely remembered to buy paper napkins or plates to match, so we just washed dishes. I think my favorite party was my 4th child’s birthday—planned an hour in advance with only 2 families invited. One brought dinner. Some people have the gift of pretty parties, and there is nothing wrong with it. But I had to do what was genuinely me and didn’t cause me huge anxiety.
